Sampling chemical kinetics data with SEQUENCE() and dynamic arrays in Excel 365

  • This video covers processing some first-order kinetics data to calculate a rate constant. However, we'll first sample the data (it's really more a demo of sampling) using SEQUENCE() and XLOOKUP() and use dynamic arrays to do the further processing, allowing us to update our sample and have everything continue to update automatically.

      It's been generally available in 365 for a year or so. Anything before that can be done with dragging down, or with array formulas, but the size won't automatically adjust -- you have to hack that part in by making a named range refer to an OFFSET() function. That's worth knowing how to do, but only worth the hassle to implement if you're going to use and re-use the same workbook.
