It was such a fun series to watch. Never mess with Ken Hayakawa, because if you do, he'll go "Oh, you're only the 2nd best at X." and proceed to clown on you. XD

I'm surprised Toei never made attempts for an anime remake or something but I guess you can't beat perfection.
A Zubat anime adaptation would be amazing! Considering the series' enduring popularity I'm shocked it hasn't happened. Anime could really power up many aspects of the series' theatricality.

Amazing content as always! I wonder if one day you could cover the Super Light Warrior, Changerion. After watching the whole series, i kinda felt that it was a wasted potential somehow.
I felt quite sad at this one scene at the final episode where the hero said something like "We'll meet again!" directly at the camera :')

If I were to guess about Hayakawa Ken, every time he gets shot, beaten, or captured, or falls, he always fakes his death by saving himself as an escape artist, or the Zubacar saves him from the fall.
While rewatching the series, I was struck by how often he fell prey to machine gun fire and explosions that seriously injured him. Only for Ken to resurface hours later basically uninjured! I took that as further proof of why he is the number one detective/hero! 😆

A superhero show that grounded things by squaring him up against more human villains. Sounds a bit like American superhero shows of the 70s. Like The Incredible Hulk or the American Spider-Man show.
