I started watching Kamen Rider Ex Aid again after about 3 years, and god it means so much to me. It’s my favourite season, and even though after Zero One I fell out, I’m back into the show now. Ex Aid was my first season of kamen rider and I’ll always have a special place in my heart for emu, hiiro, taiga, kiriya, kuroto and parado especially. What a great series

I watched the original run as a kid in Japan in the 1970s. I loved it, but I also remember thinking that I was probably better off for not being able to speak Japanese. That is, because I wasn't able to understand the dialog, I was able to imagine that the plot and dialog were more impressive than it actually was. Honestly, it's kind of bizarre that anyone outside of Japan even knows or cares about this show. The 1970s theme music is burned into my soul.
Man, that 70's Suzuki in Kamen Rider Amazon, I have one and it's such a distinctive bike. I wish there were more focus on the bikes given how the entire series feels like a guy rode a motorcycle in full safety gear and went, "man, I feel like a superhero in all this stuff... Heeeeey!" and then just did that.
I know it has been done to death at this point But imo Blade was the last time the Heisei KR would try not to be a kids show, but rather a drama show just with colorful suits doing Fights. Ya know the very serius with little humor narrative, huge emphasis on mystery, the camera shoots using Dorama visual effects, and of course the crazy violent fights in the climax of the season (like Kuuga's final fight or Garren vs Girafa Undead)

Agito not being a sequel was confirmed in the Decade. But when show was made, a incident similar to enemies from first movie did happen. But it was never clarified who stooped them. Maybe a police? When show was made, of course no one yet know how universe would operate.
