Why does this amazing drummer have less than 4000 views when there's mediocre drummers out there (You know, the ones with EDITS over their videos and over dubs with zero touring credits. Watch that Tool cover by Meytal. She's not even playing live, the video editing fails in spots to match up audio to actual playing, and she has millions of views... I'm sure she's a nice person and NOT hating on female drummers - even though they get hooked up with gear, endorsements, video views because they are I guess pretty. I don't GET it?), and this amazing drummer is surgical, musical, knowledgeable, original, entertaining, and generous with FREE lessons after each song. No one is doing what Wyatt is doing in online drumming.
No Drumeo clowns sitting next to laptops and acting like they know what's up in Wyatt's videos, no Cobus-like fan boys sucking up to this guy, just pure, fantastic, powerfully controlled talent on the modern drumkit.
So good to finally find quality among the nonsense.

I agree 1000% have played guitar most of my life and I'm going to try and start playing the drums. I can only hope to be this good 1 day. Starting a new instrument at nearly 50yrs old will be rough but this makes me excited about playing the drums thanx for ur vids Wyatt

Funny that you mention "edits." Correct me if I'm wrong, but I do not see a single microphone on this drumkit. Or a single trigger on any drum. So how exactly is this crystal clear audio being captured? Drums are extremely punchy, and cymbals are coming in loud and clear, how?

On point as always Wyatt 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 and just a quick question i don’t know if you could answer very well but do you have any tip for those fast spurts of double bass during the 16 double bass notes I have a hard time trying to get those down sorry if I use said the notes wrong I’m new to reading music :/ but amazing cover overall no surprise to me
ya.. so those fast parts are simple groups of 4s.
the first note of 4 you want to play with the HEEL of your right foot.
the second note of 4 you wanna play with the HEEL of your left foot.
THEN...
The third note of 4 play with your toes of your right foot..
and lastly, play the forth note of 4 with the toes of your left foot.
Thats how I am playing those fast sections. its kinda like playing a heel toe "double stroke" but hitting the heels of both feet and then toes. (So playing heel to technique but still playing a single stroke).
you will find that once you get this up to speed it allows you to play groups of 4 VERY fast.
