Hey, for anyone who's checking back here to see if there was any sign of the Movie game video. I've got an update. As of now, I've finally cut together the last of my audio and the video is looking like it'll be just over 55 minutes long. And of that, I've fully edited together over 30 minutes. I'm trying to push this out as fast as possible but with it being so close to Thanksgiving, my job is probably gonna get in the way. But rest assured, it's getting closer and closer to completion and hopefully, it'll be worth the massive wait. I really do appreciate everyone who's still checking back here even after all this time. ^^'
@@BaileographyI have a question how did you get the GameCube version in 16:9 widescreen and it looks so crisp? Was your gameplay done on hardware or dolphin? Great video by the way! :)
I just gotten a PS2, I was sick for 2 weeks and I didn't had a memory card yet. So, I had to start over from the start every day. Those 2 weeks were a good time... and yeah, I finished it in one sitting. Not much of a speedrunner, but I had no option.
Aw thanks. I really couldn't imagine if it didn't happen in front of me. I just wish my laptop didn't suffer a hard drive failure cause I'd have plenty more videos out by now. I got a shiny new desktop recently but I pretty much had to restart from the ground up. -_- I'm still moving forward though. Thank you for the kind words. ^^
I just recently played and beat Battle (not rehydrated) for the first time. I had played Movie when it first came out but never got to Battle until now, and I wanted to see what all the hype was about that made a remake so desirable. Just wanted to say I thoroughly enjoyed this review and I hope you'll be able to put out the Movie retrospective soon! People seem to think Movie isn't as good as Battle, but I'm not quite sure why. Sure it reused a lot of elements from this game, but I think it added some extra polish to this game's weak points (the bungee jumping parts being a notable example, and the Floating Block/SpongeBowl challenges being another since the SpongeBowl is so much easier to control) that it ended up being just as good of a game. I'd like to know what you think about Movie that's downhill from Battle. I subscribed and happily await that review!
The overall level design of the movie game is worse. The scenery can look generic and a lot of challenges aren't incorporated naturally into the levels (they teleport to pocket dimension for battle arena or spongeball). A lot of riding and sliding levels should have been their own level. Then time attack and ring challenge were just annoying. There are some mechanic improvement from BFBB, but the game just totally reek of being cheaply made and less polished that they padded with copy-pasted challenges.
A lot of people like joe white as mermaid man more but i dont know how.... He can sound ok at mr. Krabs but his mermaid man voice makes me want to cut my ears off
I was working on videos but I got caught up in moving to a new apartment last October my laptop finally died out on me at the end of 2020. My scripts are still intact but I'm waiting for my new desktop to come in so I can start up on videos again- which unfortunately means I have to start from scratch. I'm not planning on stopping though.

Can you also do The Spongebob Squarepants Movie Game Retrospective?
Yeah, that's the video I'm talking about... ^^'

Awesome review man, so nostalgic for me to watch each level
Oh yeah no doubt this is probably the best SpongeBob game ever
I can't believe you only have 30 subscribers! This is so well made c:

This is a pretty well put together video I guess the BFBB hype has died down cuz it’s not very popular and I’m kind of surprised
You should make more videos man. These are great!

I liked the movie better

Great video man!!
You skipped the best part of Flying Dutchman’s Graveyard
Come back and do super sponge! Your videos are great!
Mmmmaybe. I don't really like that game but I'd be open to trying it again and seeing if I can make something out of it.
Just saying, I was here just before you blew up 👀
Haha, thanks Fred. I'm honestly baffled by this sudden boom I got. ^^`

I think his Mermaid Man voice sounds too much like a younger guy pretending to be an old guy than a genuine old guy
Why’s you stop after this video?
