20:08 Fun fact: the six songs in Rock Bottom do actually have official names that can be found in the code. Sea Shanty, Rock Anthem, Rock Blues, Surfer, Big Band, and Super Hero. Also, the way this mini-game works is that there’s a default track that always plays, which is just the bass and drums. The characters represent different instruments that were all recorded separately, but play together to form the full song. You can actually find these individual recordings on RUclips, which I think is actually pretty cool. Though I do sometimes wonder who was playing those instruments? They’re not in the credits, but they’re all real instruments; it’s not a MIDI track.
I started freaking out seeing this, I love your content with your SpongeBob content. I hope you finish up with the rest of the SpongeBob games like Creature from the Krusty Krab, Atlantis SquarePantis, Boating Bash, Plankton’s Robotic Revenge, HeroPants, Rehydrated, and when Cosmic Shake comes out too
Hey, thanks so much. I'm definitely doing Creature next and I'm aiming for an October/November upload on that. Besides that, I know I'll tackle Rehydrated really quickly in tandem with Cosmic Shake since there's honestly not much I can say.
Damn I only came across this. This is an incredible video! Its really good for what it is. Yeah Gold Story Mode is an absolute killer to win on Hard difficulty and when the AI is on Smart difficulty. Even when difficulty is lowered for yourself and the AI, you'll get over halfway into it and then have to repeat auditions over and over to eventually progress. The unlockables are decent enough. There is a cross save option that gives you even more awards if you have played some of the other Nicktoons and Nickelodeon games and have save files for them. THQ Australia made the game not Heavy Iron Studios. It turns out that this game was very different during development thanks to a SpongeBob DVD that had the official trailer in it.
This game was a fun rental as a kid but the overly long minigame times combined with the game having no strong board game equivalent makes the experience a tad hollow compared to the better Mario Party entries.
@@Baileography Yeah, for a licensed party game this is still better than it has any right to be. Just like Battle For Bikini Bottom is a way better 3D platformer than it has any right to be.
9:41 I noticed one thing about the Dirty Bubble’s dialogue: the quality of the recording is not the greatest. Everyone else sounds great, like they were recorded in a professional recording booth. Here though, yeah, he’s understandable, but the recording is fuzzy, echoey and-is that feedback I’m hearing?

Absolutely loved this game as a kid, especially when including the replay value of Rock Bottom! Excellent video analysis!

It’s not bad SpongeBob game. It probably just been a while since I’ve played it Or Maybe I’m getting Older. This was a really good review to watch.
i cant help but yell "movie" 50,000 times every time I see the movie game after watching the more recent SHiFT streams

ngl i never understood the love for goo-ladiators, growing up i found it such a difficult game and consistently my lowest scoring game
It looks fun to play
it look like fun to play
Did I get excited about an hour long video on a Spongebob game? Yes, yes I did.

Oh 100%. I do think the best of Mario Party blows this game out of the water. But that can also be said of every licensed party game to ever exist.

Aww yiss new upload
Aww yiss, new comment! ^^
Why did we own the exact three SpongeBob games...
Cause you've got good tastes.
