Hi! So I have been having a problem with my upper eyelids. A few days out of the week they will be normal all day, very plump and voluminous. (Specifically talking about the inner corners on the upper eyelid) However, a couple days in the week I will wake up and they look fine, but after a couple hours it’s like they deflated. Sometimes, I will even wake up with volume loss in the area already. They will get slightly hollowed out (even though it’s not that significant, it still makes a big difference.) I don’t have eye bags or anything, the main problem is just the upper eyelid. I am young, so this definitely isn’t due to aging. Sleep isn’t the issue, as this happens on days I get plenty of sleep and those that I don’t get a ton. I drink plenty of water a day as well. And right now, surgery/filler isn’t exactly possible for me and my circumstances. But, due to the fact that the slight hollowness isn’t everyday, only a few times every week, do you think there are any great topical creams or gels I could purchase? Maybe my skin is lacking something, which is why it inconsistently is happening. Any advice for this would mean so much to me!

      Hi @mariahill9667,
A possibility is redundant upper eyelid skin, which retracts at certain times, or can appear like hollowing when the skin is loose. This is an issue that can't be treated with topicals. Other than that, I would have to examine your eye area to properly diagnosis your issue. I hope this helps you.

      Hi @richapandey7646,
While a physical examination is needed before making specific recommendations for you, these videos feature the ways I treat under eye dark circles in my practice:

Dr.....my mother had Hollow temples when younger........now she is in 50s.....she has fuller, straight temples............does it happen like this ? Is it due to weight gain ?

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD
      @AmiyaPrasadMD  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hi @anum3702,
It is possible for the temples to look less hollow from weight gain, or from skin laxity due to aging. I hope this clarifies things for you.

Doc i completed 7 months after my hair transplant. Can i apply hair wax on my head on regular basics Because my hair flying easily and ruining my hair style so i need to depend on a hair wax. Does it damage hair transplant? Is it safe

      Hi @user-ub4qp8up9e ,
While your transplant should have healed enough after 7 months, you should be asking your transplant surgeon this question as they know details of how your transplant surgery was performed, they know your scalp, and they can examine your scalp for any issues before you apply product to your hair. I hope this clarifies things for you.

Doctor i got a hair transplant done 6 months back results are good enough but i do shed some hairs everyday even from the transplanted area i shed almost 15 - 20 hairs from transplanted area everyday is that normal.

      Hi @user-ub4qp8up9e,
Less than expected hair density is the most complaint after hair transplant surgery, but you are still in early stages after your transplant surgery, with full growth expected about a year after surgery.
It is common for everyone to shed 50-100 hairs a day, which can include transplanted hair. Pattern hair loss happens when the shed hair grows back thinner, and there is a delay in regrowth.
You can refer to this video about why sparse hair density is common after hair transplant surgery, and what we can do to improve hair transplant results - ruclips.net/video/hBeBbCXPHFA/видео.html

Dri sir i completed 6 months after my fue hair transplant. some days back during a meet up one of my friend just tugged pulled my hair from the transplanted zone . i feel hurt but no pain resisted. He was saying that he wanted to know will the transplanted hair come out or not when tug. Will this affect the future growth or longetivity of my hair transplant result.. Do i need to worry sir 😭

      Hi @newperson1929,
Hair grafts are very firmly in place by now, and can withstand a tug. That said, you don't want to add tension to your grafts unnecessarily. If you are worried, you can have your transplant surgeon examine your scalp. I hope this helps you.
