Hi zibtihaj, Softer hyaluronic acid fillers used in the lips usually last about a year before they are safely metabolized by the body. I hope this clarifies things for you.
And knowing you - u probably just add enough so a person does not look too made up and fake . I am one or you patients and will be coming to u again soon .
@@AmiyaPrasadMD I haven’t watched it yet, but I’ve saved it. Dr, can you please tell me the full description of your professional name? I’m sure somewhere along the line I’ve seen your name here say more than “Dr Amiya Prasad, Ocular surgeon”. The reason is that if I can’t get to NYC, I want to look for someone who has your same level of training and qualifications. Also, do you know of anyone as excellent as yourself, in Sydney, or anywhere in Australia? Thanks 🌝
Hi@@melt2947, I'm an oculoplastic/oculofacial plastic surgeon, meaning I'm trained as ophthalmologist, with specialization in cosmetic and reconstructive eyelid surgeries. I'm also a Board-certified cosmetic surgeon, meaning I perform cosmetic surgery and procedures, as opposed to plastic surgery which is more about restoration of appearance after an accident or illness. I hope this clarifies things for you.

@@AmiyaPrasadMD Ty for your response. My original surgeon tried to fix them by doing a mini lift 2 years after a deep plane lift. Unfortunately it is worse than it was before as far as pixie ears. He said he can do a V-Y plasty in a year. (surgery was 5 months ago but I don't trust him anymore)I am also getting a hair transplant because my sideburns are gone. Hi Phoebe James, The lip lift can be done without surgery by relaxing the muscles that push the lip down, while allowing the muscles that lifts the lips to work unopposed, which can help with downturned, or uneven lips. You can refer to this video about it - ruclips.net/video/GvTeylE7Mjg/видео.html
Hello doctor can u please tell me microneedling after care , my microneedling treatment gone wrong I think so because dark spots are more prominent today 3rd day of treatment 🤦 left side of my face look like a wound please help me can I use vitamin c serum or not
Hi A.G.K, Sorry to hear about your problem, but I'm not aware of your microneedling was performed, nor do I know details of your skin, so I can't recommend specific treatments. Microneedling when done professionally does require time for the skin to heal, and for the effects of collagen stimulation to be seen on the skin, so it shouldn't be done on consecutive days. Are you referring to microneedling done by yourself at home? I don't recommend microneedling done at home if you're not trained do it properly; and if it's done by a doctor, you should be following up with your doctor since they can examine your skin. I hope this helps you.
Thank you for your beautiful videos, doctor. I have a question outside the topic of the video. I hope you can answer it. Since I was young and even before puberty, I had a few hair follicles and I always heard some questions when I was in the pool or at the barber, such as why your hair is weak or very little now I am 20 In general, I have hereditary diffuse thinning hair for about two years. I have used topical finasteride with minoxidil and derma roller for seven months, but with no results at all. Now I use Alvatrodil mixed with ten finasteride pills, a concentration of five milligrams, and 0.8 milligrams of oral finasteride. but I think I will not be able to make my hair thicker because since childhood I do not have enough hair follicles, so is there any advice for me and thank you
Hi Ali Algadir, Sorry to hear about your problem. First of all, you should not be using finasteride without a prescription from a doctor as it's a prescription medication. Also, if you have a prescription, you should be taking it as prescribed by your doctor, and not coming up with your own concoctions. A treatment like TrichoStem Hair Regeneration cannot make your thicker than it ever was, but it can thicken actively thinning hair. You can refer to these videos on how we diagnose, and treat male pattern hair loss; how we can thicken thinning hair in men who have already been taking finasteride; and the importance of finasteride in treating male pattern hair loss: ruclips.net/video/BmwyXS0D5tg/видео.html ruclips.net/video/4YowPNRsv6I/видео.html ruclips.net/video/fLSB-tE0gco/видео.html
I am an older woman, and I am seeing a lot of older women with lip filler. It looks horrible!! Of course, those could be the ones that weren't done well. I think some of the older women in this video look good, but I'm not sure about all of them. I think maybe when lips get really thin, that's when it just doesn't look right with filler. Of course, we I couldn't see their whole face. Some do look really good.
Hi @samdung5630, The important aspects of lip filler treatment are looking natural; looking proportionate in both the lips, and in context with the whole face. It is safe to be conservative with the amount of filler used initially, as more can be added later on if initial results are undesirable. Remember that it is better for you and the doctor to be conservative at first, and add more later if needed, rather than to add too much at once, then have to dissolve it and start again. I hope this clarifies things for you.
This is off topic but could you please do a video on fibrosis after a deep plane facelift. I am week 4 1/2 and I’ve already gotten the beginning stages of fibrosis under my chin. My doctor gave me ultrasound therapy at week 3. He wants me to go back two weeks later. It’s odd that fibrosis could begin this early but I guess some people’s bodies are just different. I’ve read the ultrasound works but I’ve also read from other doctors that they don’t believe it does. I’m trying to give some light pressure under my chin to perhaps help with this scarring. I had a pretty bad hematoma that developed overnight right after my face left. And then I developed two painful ischemic flap changes to both areas behind my ears. it was heading towards the necrosis because it had tiny white pimples and then some black color as well. This is healing slowly. Could you do a video on fibrosis of the neck from facelifts? Thanks so much for everything you’ve done already- - you are very helpful, kind and generous with your time.
Hi norman jime, Sorry to hear about your problem. Fibrosis doesn't usually happen with deep plane facelifts, so I can't make a video about it. If you'd like a second opinion about the results of your facelift, I would have to perform a physical examination before making any recommendations. I hope this clarifies things for you.
