Number 2 in my Hyperlaspse series, didn't go to plan but managed to capture a good 'Course Lock' video. As always, many thanks for watching the videos :)
Looking good Shaun and thanks for the mention. On a bright sunny day my best hyperlapse videos I used ND 1000 on the Mini3 pro and a ND 2000 with the Mavic 3. Keep up the good work.
Hi Shaun, I've seen a few of your videos. I love your enthusiasm. Something to pay attention to regarding the PL (Polarized) filters in particular: Always shoot 90 degrees/perpendicular to the sun. Otherwise you may get some darkening of the sky in certain areas. You don't have this concern with regular ND filters, just the polarized ones. PS: I just subscribed and hit the bell. Looking forward to more.
Many thanks for your comment and tip, I will try to remember that next time I'm using the Polarised filters. FreeWell are send me more filters for the Mini 3 Pro to try out so plenty more videos on the ND filters. Many thanks for joining my channel and watching :)
Hi Shaun. Can i control the gimbal as it is flying in course lock? Like keeping that roundabout in the center of the view, flying over it and keep it fixed?
Hi, yes you can control the gimbal while flying. Once you chosen your flight, you can't change the course while set in Hyperlapse. Best thing about this, you can experiment this and fly it many times, changing the settings each time, have fun. Many thanks for watching :)
Hey Shaun, the cinematic motion blur of which you speak isn't really relevant for Hyperlapse operations. It's only for video as the hyperlapse is just a series of stills. Great video!
Hi Shaun, Loved the video so relaxing to watch and beautiful video work. I have a mini 2 and mavic 2 but now considering the mini 3 pro, price is also a major consideration with retirement rapidly approaching. You look to be enjoying the mini 3 experience as much as you did when first getting the spark. The question is should I get one and sell my mini 2? Looking forward to spending half the year in Spain and half at home so wIll have to look up the drone rules. Thanks for the video Love the fact we can learn along with you.
Cheers Robbie, I'm a bit of a drone nut and just bought off eBay a DJI Phantom 1, my very first drone, but lost it and since then carried on with their drones ever since. I own the Mini 2 and it's a very good drone but I never really fell in love with it until the Mini 3 Pro arrived. One of the big issues with the Mini 2 was the on button for the drone being underneath while the 3 is on top, plus a bigger bonus the built in screen. If you don't fly your drone much, Mini 2 is worth keeping but you can do so much more with the 3. It's what you can afford, good luck :)
tried course lock 2 different times (separate mornings) and both come back unusable. The drone flys a straight path, but the gimbal is bouncing all over the place (lock is on).
Hi Zack, not flown mine in course lock/hyper since but did hear this was happening until the recent update that was supposed to sort this. I will check mine next week to see if this is still being a problem, many thanks for the info :)

Many thanks for your comment Phil, and many thanks for your tip, I will give the ND1000 a go. Many thanks for watching :)

With nd filter pro setting should be 100 iso 1/160 would've gave you motion blurr it does me?
Many thanks for the info and settings for motion blur :)
use the C2 button to change your shutter speeds, no reason to swipe the screen to change your exposures
Many thanks for the tip Ed, many thanks also for watching :)
