This was absolutely perfect. Thank you for explaining in such a clear and concise manner. I typically learn better with a playthrough, but this was better than the actual gameplays I saw.
I saw this game in my friend's house. So before we play, I wanted to look for the explanation. So glad that you guys had covered this one too ❤ Thank you!!
Thank you so much for this tutorial! Seen so many of these but they all were so chaotic 🙈 This is the first and only clear tutorial that talks about all aspects ❤
Thanks Tarrant and Stella 👏🏻 just got this game today and taking it with me for a game day 😁 think we’ll watch this video again together so we can all learn it. Great job!
I love this game. But we modified the rules to make the crazy camels have more of an impact: we make a crazy camel automatically go under the other camels if it lands on the same space. However even with this modification the crazy camels rarely have any impact on the game. Which is unfortunate.
Great tutorial! Will you guys be doing a live playthrough of this game? I would love to see it! It is actually easier for me to learn games watching people play live then it is being "taught" the rules. Is it just me who feels this way?
Hi Babs11285, every person learns differently, that's okay :). Haven't got a plan for live play or playthrough yet at this stage, but who knows, we love Camel Up! Thank you for dropping by!
@@MeepleUniversity It went well. And this is a game my 83-year-old mother was able to handle playing! (She had randomly bet on the overall winner and loser at the very beginning of the game and somehow ended up being correct on both counts.)
There are 8 sets of cards and cheering tokens for up to 8 players. There are only so many betting tickets for each color so you have to be fast to grab the ones you want, but for more players you can make a partnership to essentially bet on a camel that someone else has taken a ticket for. Remember that the players don't "own" one of the 5 colored camels. They are simply betting on which is going to win. Many people can be betting on the same one.
This is what I call a perfect tutorial, you went over every possible scenario
Thank you so much 🙏🙏
Yes this was perfect. Thanks!

I only see 5 tokens for players, not counting black and white.... So how can u play with 8 players?

what happens when 2 or more players have the same amount of coin at the end of the game?
The rules say it's a shared victory.
I disagree. We play this at 2 player and it works fine.
Is there any way to buy this game in a way that directly benefits Meeple University?
You're sweet🥰 but there isn't. We love it if you enjoy the game, maybe help local shop🥰.
I don't understand how the bottom player lost 4 coins @ 10:55
