    God has called us to walk in Spirit putting to death the deeds of the flesh, we are suppose to obey the law of Spirit which puts to death the law of sin in our members, eagerly waiting for the hope of righteousness by faith. I thank God that Dwayne is preaching a message that many don’t believe or don’t want to believe, that those born of God do not sin.

      David - there are 2 views on the nature of Christ - the one Pr. Dwayne has taken is wrong in my view--- so don't accept what you are told - prove it to yourself....Christ had a sinless nature as Adam before the fall ...but he took on the weaknesses of fallen man but not his sinfulness - Jesus was weaker than Adam in physical strength mental power and moral worth

    If all truth were a bicycle wheel. God is love is the center! Every truth comes from this and cannot be any other way. Christ crucified is in all doctrine. As Paul preached on many many doctrines but yet said
    1 Corinthians 2:2 KJV - For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

      Check this out. Just came across this in my studies. May God bless the reading and understanding of His Word.
      A legal religion can never lead souls to Christ; for it is a loveless, Christless religion. Fasting or prayer that is actuated by a self-justifying spirit is an abomination in the sight of God. The solemn assembly for worship, the round of religious ceremonies, the external humiliation, the imposing sacrifice, proclaim that the doer of these things regards himself as righteous, and as entitled to heaven; but it is all a deception. Our own works can never purchase salvation. DA 280.2

    if Christ had to like us then we should have to be like Christ - but - Christ could not sin even once or be lost - yet we can sin and be forgiven a million times...so who has the advantage Christ or us...there was no redeemer for Christ...
    read DA 49, 117, 114, 24,........... 111 says he accepted the weakness of man - not the sinfulness....114 says satan conformed to his image the father and mother of our race , so was Christ conformed to the image of Satan....now that is blasphemey...49 says jesus accepted humanity when the race was - weakened by 4000 years of sin - it does not say he became sin or sinful but that he was -weakened by sin...so christ had a sinless nature

    When I attended college for a theology degree there were a few students who became obsessed with Jones and Waggoner and the 1888 message - I don't recall one of them staying in the ministry - Our focus is the salvation of the lost and not our own sanctification and salvation ...so when we become obsessed with being sinless in the last generation we again take on a dysfunctional focus. If you believe Christ had a sinful nature then you should read -Roy Adams book - the nature of Christ - or Woodrow Whidden's book - the humanity of Christ...then you will realize Christ never had a sinful nature. He took upon himself the weaknesses of fallen humanity but not the sinfulness...Pastor Dwayne - is not only wrong but detrimental to your spiritual walk.

      @David King, why are you dodging the question.
      What is the relevance of the group that has victory over sin in Revelation 14:12? You admitted this groups existence but I’m asking what have you studied about it.
      Thanks

    • @DavidKing-qd3sp
      @DavidKing-qd3sp 2 года назад

      @@jkkjlemon ...........the relevance depends upon your view of the nature of Christ... you would see it as a means to prove the law could be kept by sinful man and Jesus was a sinner like us...But I would disagree with that view.
      From a post view I would say it shows that God is not only willing but wanting to restore us to His image which is reflected in the law in our characters and one day our nature. It further proves Adam did not have to sin and that the demands of the law were not unjust. And that God's character is one of love at any price to redeem man.
      I have never studied this topic because it is irrelevant in practical terms - because we are all seeking victory in Christ - so any other facts about it does not make me succeed more in my attempts to be obedient.
      I had friends at college who were obsessed with Jones and Waggoner and the 1888 message - not one of them remained in ministry - one was even fired. I am afraid you may have an imbalanced interest in this topic. As Christ said - we cannot even add an inch to our height. So, my focus has been in soul winning and understanding scripture.
      So now, you can fill in the further details of why!
      But you keep avoiding my question on Daniel 9...to seal up vision and prophecy - what does that mean. And Dwayne, the end may not come for another 100 or more years. I am growing in Christ and he makes up for any deficiency I may have.
