Same here!😅 Since I got advised bij Lee on Discord, I do this as well. Or I turn it in the evening, when it's dark outside. My Monstera was stressed out and now it's getting so beautiful again.😍 Thanks Lee! I still only need to rearrange the plant and the pole in the pot. But it's too cold now outside.
My SIL gave me a potted monstera cutting with three leaves a few months ago. I repotted following your instructions right away. I just got my fifth leaf yesterday and it has two fenestrations!!! I can't wait for the next leaf! 🌻🍄
I absolutely love this because I thought I should switch positions so all the plant can get some sunlight. It feels loopsided with all the leaves on one side. I guess that's how it is supposed to be now.. thanks for the tips.
Ordinary monstera (for me) grows like a champ, anything variegated? Freaking thing is just doing whatever the heck it wants. I've given it a last time to shine and threatened with chopping, let's see how it goes 😅❤
Nice one. My compromise is similar to others mentioned in the comments. My monsteras live in the most optimum position for daylight (supported by grow lights in grey UK winters) I can provide where they appear to thrive but I do move them about in my home temporarily (a day perhaps) for aesthetic purposes. This works well for me because I manage their height; I really don't want eight-foot-tall monsteras which are a nightmare to move. My monsteras (one per pot) are mounted on stands of varying heights so that I can achieve a pleasing grouping.
Thanks for a great video. Doing that in 3-d is the best way ever. I have a 6 year old golden pothos that shows exactly what NOT to do with plants that grow like that, front/back. The plant has been moved several times, with no regard to where it faced. It now has 12 feet of twisty, curvy, leaf-less stem that has aerial roots poking out in all directions. I didn't know about front/back facing, but I have since learned, (probably from KTP). Why don't I cut/prop it? The end of that sad stem has grown a Wreath. I have the f/b aligned & I keep wrapping it upon itself. Tis cradled in a web of cotton crochet. The stem has gotten as big as my fingers & the leaves are now as big as my hands ... in 6 months. It's like it's putting out a leaf a week!
This is why I like Philodendron verrucosum and Philodendron micans (my pfp) because they can face the window all they want, I like the backside of the leaf way better, lol.
Right. If it's against the window, it should be 'mooning you'😅 If you want it to face you, you need grow lights. There are some great videos here about that.❤
i always have a few cuttings in water, if someone wants something. worst case scenario i have to grab a weird monstera or pothos from my goldfish tank and they can try and figure that one out.
Ouch, I just repotted mine and changed the direction of where it was growing. Should I fix that asap? 🥲 or just let it be now? I didn’t know they were suppose to grow all in one direction… I thought all different 💀/:
My brother has a very big monstera, he has it facing the window, but when he has guests he turns it around so the leaves are visible.😂
Same here HAHAHAH

wow the visual analogy presentation was so helpful! youre a natural at this!
I was dropping in here to say the same. Once you can SEE that, it becomes a lot easier in positioning plants.

awesome!
I love how y’all promote each other !!!!
Mine are feral. The aerial roots wander into other pots. As long as they don't wander off (or tip over), they can do what they want.
Is there a video of how you made the burlap pole? What did you use to attach the burlap to the pole?
uh, maybe a long time ago in one of my Q+A videos. I just tied it up with string.
Got the notification from your discord. That was a good visual example of how it grows. And fun end. Thank you for making it.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I really am engulfed and always stay engaged with all your content! Look forward to seeing more content, Lots of love ❤️ Ginger

Always great tips! With a scientific approach to explain nature ❤

That ending. 😂😂😂😂
Thanks!
Thank you so much!
Thanks brother, question ,I've seen some plant light bulbs at Menards, are those good to use ?

Sweeeeeet ✊🏾😎🌳🌳🌳🌳
I can’t really afford certain things and have to use a glow light for my monstera. So idk how much more I need
I have finally accepted that I will be looking at the back of my Monstera…it’s inevitable.
I'm really confused 😕
My Monstera always shows me the backside. 😢
as it should be 😌
Right. If it's against the window, it should be 'mooning you'😅

So I have to turn all my plants 🪴 towards the window thanks.🤦🏽♀️
lol the end. No cuttings!! Leave my plants alone!
they can go to the store

Oh wow burlap?? Okay it’s on!! 😂I love saving money!🪴
