Dana Dan is such a visceral song. The vocals you asked about are supplied by the guitarist's then girlfriend, Archy J. She has her own RUclips channel under the name The Snake Charmer. She is also featured in their song "Aaj", and appears in the video as well. Wonderful tune.
@Abigirl Reacts: What you missed with the dance choreography was that the dancers was led by the woman in blue. She represents, as far as I know, the goddess Kali. As the goddess Kali represents transformation and change, she also represents the protection of the innocent. I've said elsewhere that Jayant, the long-haired growler, seems as if someone he knows or knew was hurt, and hurt badly. Because of this, his screams almost seem a plea to Kali to come down from the heavens and bring the perpetrator to justice. And when the female vocals kick in, it is almost as if Kali hears his prayer, and in fact descends from the heavens to deliver a divine thrashing of righteous indignation upon whoever the perpetrator is. As Kali is depicted with twin swords and the heads of her enemies hanging from her belt, I can only imagine the justified terror she would inspire in those that would harm an innocent, whether man, woman, or child. As for the message, I've always said that because of my own history (I was a victim of abuse in 1987 as a young child), and the fact I have no children of my own, I would be the most willing to give my life to protect the ones I love, as I have the least to lose. Yet the song, for all of the visceral lyrics and sheer power of righteous rage, leaves the world with a universal message: That all people, especially men, have an inborn instinct to protect those weaker than us. Because of this, violence and aggression can be used to ensure the innocent are protected, especially when someone chooses to use violence to harm the innocent. Defense of others is always a justifiable act, even when it seems as if it isn't, or the cost of doing so may be high. For other Bloodywood songs to react to, I recommend four: -- Yaad ("Yahd") -- Jee Veerey ("Gee Vee•ray") -- Endurant -- Aaj ("Ah•j") And welcome to the Bloodywood family, where these Indian rockers are a mix of empathy, humanity, curry, and inspired by Linkin Park. Glad you like them as much as us metalheads do! Rock on! 🤘🤘
The blueish/blackish colour on the central girl represents Goddess Kali literally black mother in Hinduism ... the mother goddess who fights evil and all the horrific things that is present in the world ... she embodies feminine rage and the belief in destroying evil annihilating it completely through violent means if necesssary for rebirth and restoration of peace... Love form India 😊😊🤘🤘 Fun fact the Goddess image was nefariously used in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom too demonise the Indian characters in the movie.. Also the tongue logo of The Rolling Stones is inspired by the Goddess Kali who has been featured with her tongue out since ancient times
Rhaksa was the first album from Bloodywood, New Delhi, India Nu Metal band (so similar to Linkin Park style). They are launching their new album in Feb 2025. The furst 2 single were out: Bekhauf wuth Baby Metal and Nu Delhi
@Abigirl_Reacts There's a reason Bloodywood was a big hit 2 years ago with reaction crowd. Their music is brilliant. There a lot more, such as Man With a Mission (Japan). Check out Man with a Mission x milet (duet as opening theme aong of Demon Slayer) - Kiseki no Kizuna: ruclips.net/video/wFj7d_fnYTU/видео.htmlsi=PB24fi8JutdAyG1w It gets me excited to explore milet (Japanese singer), she has very unique vocal signature. Milet - Anytime, Anywhere (ending song for Freiren), sad sad sad song ruclips.net/video/r105CzDvoo0/видео.htmlsi=1ApPNKaDFOdsASOm
I loved your reaction to this song. This song is one of my all-time favorites. Other commenters below have given you some good recommendations, Nu Dehli is amazing as is AAJ, but I would also suggest Gaddaar and Jee Veerey.
hey there, Blodywood has on their YT chanel a video called "Bloodywood - Raj Against the Machine (The Documentary)"... it is really wort to watch... it documents how the band was created and their road to Wacken metal festival... I'm sure You will like it 😉
Wow! Can’t believe it’s taken this many years for Bloodywood to release their first album! 😳 I remember seeing their covers of stuff like Bad by Michael Jackson and their first single “Ari Ari” (which I bought cos it’s amazing) but they’re only just doing an album! Or is this an older song? They kinda disappeared off my radar after Ari Ari. Anyway, that was awesome! Both the song and your reaction, Abs 💕
bloody wood has ALOT of good songs ari ari, Aaj, Gaddar, are all great. especially Aaj. that's one of my favorites from them. Aaj also has the female singer in this one in it for a beautiful vocal part as well
Believe it or not, the guy who sings/raps/growls in Hindi also has beautiful clean vocals. Many, if not most, of their discography showcase his clean singing abilities... just not in this one. LOL

@@Abigirl_Reacts Looks like it is called Tadka.
This song is not for the light hearted, but as an brother to a younger sister, and an uncle to nieces, I can firmly understand it.
Same here!
U introduced me to a cool band thanks 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The whole Rakshak album is gold... and two new songs for the next album already out. And Aaj has the same amazing female vocals.
Can't wait, coming soon!
I fully support the message of this song, and I have done what the song espouses, no mercy!
This song is badass
Was hoping you would do this one! Aaj and nu Dehli are must listens from Bloodywood
I've heard! Can't wait

@Abigirl_Reacts just goodle any image of Kali and u will get the idea ...
@@Abigirl_Reacts Did you know the rolling stones tongue logo is inspired by Goddess Kali herself.. she is literally the definition of metal. 😛
