22:23 “I don’t taste a lot of banana,” maybe if you got some of the caramelised banana that’s on the side then maybe you’ll taste the banana 😂

I appreciate how Tom just tells his opinion on something. If he's saying something is good on WDW property, it is good.

I was hoping they would drop the prix fixe. Disney wants to run the Disney World restaurants like their cruise line kitchens. Everyone pays the same price, choice of 3 entrees, maybe a choice of appetizers and desserts. A limited choice of main stream wines. It is a lazy, albeit cost efficient way to run a restaurant.

It makes sense. I’m sure lots of cheap folks went for a starter and dessert and stayed 2 hours waiting on fireworks.

There are only a hand full of Prix Fixe menus so not sure what the problem is. It makes sense for Cali Grill so people don’t take up sections and only buy a dessert like Tom said.

I want all of this right now! Food looks incredible and the price seems fair to me. Everyone saying it’s overpriced is a little out of touch, let’s remember what the nightly price of the Contemporary is…

That creme brulee looked so drool worthy 🤤. If I'd go, I do what you suggested, and go to the bar for the dessert and maybe an appetizer.

The sushi at Morimoto blows all other Disney World (and probably all Orlando) sushi out of the water. It is wildly overpriced though.

The tomahawk was awesome. My wife and I had that at Christmas. The upcharge was a kick in the groin, but it was the best steak we ever had. Bumped the bone-in ribeye at Le Cellier to second.

Thank you for the advice at the end. I love going to the bar at Napa Rose, and my family used to love going to the California Grill bar for sushi and their creme brulee. I thought the restaurant had changed prix fixe only, so this is great. Thanks again!

Really enjoyed this review! Fun, entertaining and informative! Tom, what are your favorite restaurants (not just signature) overall on property? I’m headed back to WDW (haven’t been since Dec 2019) in a week! I love this location, but not the price point and prix fixe.

That''s "American Wagyu", not Japanese Wagyu. American Wagyu is a cross breed of American Angus with Japanese Wagyu stock. it's marbling is substantially different and the taste and mouth feel is completely different.

For coparison a couple of weeks ago my Girlfriend took me to Monsieur Paul for my birthday. We were seated at an intertior table (e.g. no view of the park). They also do a prix fix (at a subsatialy higher price). I'ma vegeterian. This presented a huge prolem for the staff as they had to send a runner over to 'Living with the Land' so they could poke around for some produce that had fallen off the trees that they could serve me. The main course was 45 minutes late as a result (our waiter was very nice and apologized over and over finally admitting tha the kitchen isn't used to dealing with vegeterians...they ultimately served me a plate of sad looking grilled vegetables, in cae you're wondering). When the bill came they were nice enough to deduct $100, but even with that our total for 2 was higher than your total for 4...except we didn't get any view. And before you say 'Well, you loser, why did you goto a French Resaurant as a vegeteian?' - my Girlfriend wanted to do something nice for me for my birthday and she thought 'Surely Disney will do something to accomodate...' By comparison your meal kicked ass and took names (IMO).

I hate to say it but US Wagyu is not the best meat. Japanes & Taiwan have the world's best Wagyu beef, 2nd is South African (yes, you heard right!!).
