- Did someone say KAC conversion? Today we check out the latest build in my collection. This is the Knight's Armament 14.5 MOD 2 URX 3.1 conversion. RUclips, these are not real firearms. I got a CRS, buddy has an MCQ, the MCQ is pretty impressive and especially keeping your OAL to a minimum and with completely eliminating concussion and bringing flash down, it’s a pretty cool device.
Idrc about lowest possible DBs with 556 it’s gonna be loud even with the top performers.

Edit- had to look it up, but 267 is named magpul, but on the site it says 265 may be a better match lol. Our cerakote guy always does our work in 265 and it's come out great. And I'm sure either will match better than 2 parts from the same batch of geissele DDC

You can get knights lowers for alot cheaper than gunbroker you just gotta be in the right chats awsome build BTW! I have a sr15 waiting for my kac can then pin and weld i have a acog on mine with rmr and I'm debating on putting a lpvo on it 😅

Honestly Knights lowers are over rated for what they are. LMT is very hard to beat.

@715Tactical Hey bro did you use the milspec trigger pins with the Gold AR trigger with your ADM UIC Lower?
On the close up of the lower I noticed the fitment with the KAK upper has a few spots where a LMT upper would mate better. Does the small stuff like that bug you on an expensive build like this?

It’s a shame KAC prices themselves out of the majority of the ar15 owners. If they had more reasonable pricing and had more availability I’d jump on them in a heartbeat. As it is I’m not spending loads of free time trying to hunt them down and I’m for sure not spending $2k+ on just the upper. Really unfortunate because they really are quite amazing.
Just get an LDub Ambi lower and an EWS upper and have a better rifle.
Id 100% buy a blackout defense rifle before a kac
I love my SR25s and SR16s, but in all honesty a good build off of a Zev or LWRC or SiCo will give you the same benefits at 60% price. Only things I personally would skimp on is the barrel, BCG, Bolt, trigger and gas block. A lower is just a housing, the guts are what matter.

Why not? Normalize dual optic set ups. Lpvo for mid-long and dot for close/fast engagements.

I'm sorry but those flashlight head covers from 100 concepts sucks.. Seriously who wants to have a bunch of cord wrapped around your flashlight and it's really noisy when you click it over and off the light head. It snags easy and really just sucks terribly. I regret getting one, I hate it.
I will agree with you on the noise part. It's not the quietest by any means. I think their ARD's are much better.

Knights is a soulless contract chasing company that is comprised of people that don't care at all about the 2nd amendment. They're overrated, the customer service is sht, and lots of their stuff shows up looking like a well used blem..... And don't even get me started on LMT. It's my opinion that when BCA got busted with all those low skilled illegals, LMT offered all of them jobs in the machining and QC department. It doesn't even matter that LMT customer service is also garbage, because the machining and QC of the finished product is SOOOO HORRIBLE, that they need to be charging BCA prices.
