- I bought 10 fake grips on eBay so you don't have to! In this video I will be giving these grips a full run down compared to the real ones, and then hitting some shots with them.
Can they possibly be a much cheaper alternative to the real thing?

ABOUT JOE
I first made my channel a few years ago and had no idea where it was going to take me, all i knew is is that i wanted to help others on their golfing journey. I always found it hard when browsing the internet to find clear coaching information and the more i read the more conflicting advice i found. So this really gave me the drive to create my channel and make this content.
In my day job i am a full time golf coach working out of a driving range in the North West of Yorkshire as well as Colne Golf Club. I find coaching an incredibly rewarding job and i coach everyone from professionals to a complete beginner. I am always trying to further myself as a coaching professional through training and investing in the latest technology. I am also a fully qualified PGA Professional with Accredited PGA status.
I am here to help you improve your golf, whether it be via golf lessons or watching my online content. Please feel free to ask any questions on my videos to help you reach your goal of improving your game!

I have golf pride copies on my wedges and iomic copies on my irons, the irons lasted over 2.5 years and they're still good, 7 iron getting a little thin. Wedges are fine never had an issue. The biggest thing I think would be less Q.A checks with the copies
Hi, great vid…. I’ve been using mcc plus 4 copies for ages now and to be honest I don’t find anything wrong with them! The standard did feel thin so I bought midsize which feels great… feels like standard with a few more tapes.. I’ve had them on for a couple of seasons and they still look and feel great… For a fraction of the price I’ll be buying them again. Thanks for the video.. 👍
I bought a set of these, Midsize MCC +4, but they have not yet arrived. I could not justify the cost of $14 each + $3 install each for my set of used clubs I only paid $200 for. These have to be better than the Champkey grips on them now. Hoping I get the same mileage as you!

Golfpride grips are made in Taiwan… knock offs are probably Chinese. I can buy 39 fakes for the price of 13 real ones. I literally didn’t know as I have half real I had put on when I bought irons and half fake I added till a buddy asked me what grips I had and I said how cheap I got some on eBay. We both have them now lol I have the cp2 wraps and I’ll never buy real ones again. THEY LAST just as long. I’ve also had the multi compound real ones and stopped buying because they barely make it a season for 175 dollars. The fake cp2’s are now two years old. I’d save the money because I’ve been using cp2 wraps 8 years and couldn’t tell the difference except price
Absolutely agree with this. Bought a set of 13 “MMC Plus4’s” from Temu a month or so ago and have them on my irons, with genuine Plus4’s on my woods and wedges, and can’t tell the difference between the two types other than getting a full set of fakes for the cost of a single real one 😂
Also, play 4 times a week and go to the range 3 times a week and haven’t noticed any deterioration in the fakes at all..
@@jazzt3839 the fakes actually grip better compared to the real ones. I ask all my buddies what grip they prefer and hand them two clubs blind test. 6 outta 7 preferred the fakes lol it’s like glue and they’re lasting forever
@@Sdemmy980 you can understand why golf pride are so concerned about fakes, of course you’ll get the shitty copies but you’ll also get great quality ones for a small % of the price 😂
I just paid $3 a grip from China. I can’t tell the difference other than the paint thinner smell. Did you guys notice a smell on the copies?
@@Kemo_Robby I bought fakes from eBay but it didn’t smell. I’d just air them out it should go away. When you grip them use mineral spirits
I can imagine them being like an ice cream under the hot sun in spain.

Yes very much so, they sort of pop out when the grip gets put on! 💪

The real thing is significantly better 👌💪
This guy works for big grip just buy the fakes you could replace them three times a year for the price of one real set
