    Hey love your videos. Especially the orange colored Classic.I'm wondering if you guys could give me some insight on how to mount the rear ARB bumper on that truck. I have an 88 and a Rear ARB but I don't see how to bolt it up. ARB had nothing and I haven't been able to turn up any info on the net. Thanks for any help

      Ben P Thank you for watching our videos. Your best trying to find second hand if you can't get new. If the bar is made for the car the bolts will line up.

    About 9 years ago I did that track in a Freelander 2 as part of an aulro.com trip. It's certainly got worse since then.

    BTW the Td5 Defender did it with open diffs... the air compressor shat itself... not the technique i would use with lockers!

      Michael Gillies You did great throughout the whole day with open diffs mate 👍

    surely all terrains would be better for this than muds?

    It looks like the disco2 had no lockers and traction control was not working...
    Short wheelbase, small tyres and the really short/small axle flex(unlike defenders or disco1’s) with no TC or lockers make it too limited to climb big steps.
    Suspension lift looks like +2” at most, so it’s still a low car for big steps.
    With 33’s, disconnectable sway bars, a slightly bigger lift and the traction control or Cdl plus rear locker it wolud become a lot more capable for that, but still cheap...
    I have a disco 2 and every bit of kit I add to it, it becomes double the better...
    Stock they designed it too much super roadworthy and super confortable, but making it worse offroad when it becomes a bit serious.
    If planning to go seriously offroad, it needs a bit of tune up...
    Cheers guys. Good videos

    What are the gear ratio on the RRC. I have a 95 with 32" TKO's but find that the ratio is off?

    • @lror
      @lror  7 лет назад

      Standard ratios but he is running the LT95 gearbox so that would help.

      Rover Lord yeah, those are crap, the have nothing on the Defenders, but Patrols would've killed them all.

    • @roverlord4262
      @roverlord4262 7 лет назад +5

      Andy McLellen Highly unlikely! Other than the front being ifs that navara is the same as a patrol. The patrol would have probably needed winching by the defender as well.

    Hehe, simple logic Toyota's n Nissan's are fitted with standard tyres n ur landies with big tyres,a prado 78series can beat the landies anytime anywhere,try compete with malasian pimped prados n see what happens 🤣🤣🤣

    Navara is not for that

    • @checa160
      @checa160 4 года назад

      It is. For that and a lot of other things. The same way the others are.
      Some are a bit better for this, sone a bit better for that.
      The navara did it well with a bit of help, the same way the prado or the disco struggled as well at the step.
      You go to fast tracks and the prado and disco will be a bit better and more stable than the others, or the navara will probably be the best at going anywhere with a big load on the back...
      We guys should stop trying to measure and compare how long and thick we got it as if we were kids.
      All cars are good overall.
      And once you tune them up, they become awesome.
      If this or that model in this or that video struggles at a point, we don’t need to begin a war attacking or defending it.
      It’s stupid.
      Let’s enjoy offroading. And that’s it!!
      Cheers
