Dr Bronner's is cruelty free so I will keep using it. Ben and Jerry's had controversies, people hate on Chick-fil-A for their beliefs, I use what I use. People make such a big deal over everything these days.
Just a side note citrus is actually in season during winter time. Lemons and oranges are best right now!! So grab what you can and you can freeze or dehydrate lemon. I like to eat an orange a day during this season.
I am placing my first azure standard order for January. So excited. My goal for 2023 is to really focus on my working pantry and getting my house in order!
Oh my gosh, I love your hauls! Happy 2023, Kelley family!! 🎉🎉🎉
Happy New Year
Look at that kitchen!!! So much light!!! Dream house, indeed. I am SO HAPPY FOR YOU, my fellow Michigander!
Wonderful grocery haul Tabitha! Happy holidays to you and your family! God's blessings to you always!
Thank you! I very much enjoyed this haul 🧡Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 🧡🎄🧡🎄🧡🎄 May 2023 be wonderful, joyful, and blessed for you and your family!
Thank you Tabitha for sharing and I hope you and your family a Happy Holidays and a New Year 🥳🥳🙏🙏🥰🥰
One tip I have is I make up freezer bags of diced onions (could use leeks), carrots, and celery. And then anytime you make just about any soup that is your base. It's a great way to use up excess produce and to make future life easier! I also do this with onions and peppers for chili. 😊
That’s such a good idea!
A mirepoix! A good base for a lot of things ❤️
This is such a good idea.
This is a great idea. How long do they store in the freezer? do you see that they have a different taste when unthawed? what else do you cut up and freeze usually?
Genius now I will be doing this!!
Glad you found Azure! It’s our favorite! Everything is awesome! Don’t forget the spices and all the Azure brand cleaning products! Love, love! Especially dish soap. I buy the gallon and use a mason jar with a pump for all the bathrooms and kitchen sink. Looking forward to seeing all the new products you try! Get tge candles blessed at Candlemas. Extra special 😉❤️🙏🏻
That was the best haul I’ve ever seen and I love Azure.
Merry Christmas and Happy New year to you and your beautiful family❤️I really enjoy your videos, thankyou🎄⛄️😘
I don’t recall if you have a dog or pet but just a friendly reminder that Xylitol is deadly to dogs and cats. Don’t ever feed them anything with xylitol or let them even get into a pack of sugar free gum. You got lots of good stuff. You new home is beautiful, enjoy🥰
Very important! I volunteered at our local vet practice during the pandemic (most employees got sick at the same time) and we had a golden retriever coming in, after he stole a cake made with xylitol from the counter.... poor boy survived, but we nearly lost him.
@@sisu411 yes. Exactly. Many people don’t realize it’s deadly to cats and dogs, as you know, most don’t survive 🙏🙏
Wow! Fabulous haul ... the fruits and veggies look amazing. I literally use leeks all year round instead of onions as they're gentler on the tummy and digestion. Leek and potato soup is one of my ALL time favourites to make xx
I love your grocery hauls!
Have a great Lebanese recipe for Sauteed Leeks, it's super easy, but it's a 2-4 person recipe; you can always stretch it if needed. Use two leeks rinsed thoroughly and cut finely, into rings, boil those for about 5 minutes in boiling water, then drain in a strainer. In a separate deep pan put 2 tbsp olive oil, then 4-6 cloves of minced garlic, 2 springs diced green onion/scallion, this can cook for about 5-7 minutes until soft, then add the leeks to the pot and stir until all are coated with the cooked garlic, scallion and olive oil mixture, salt can be added to taste, normally use sea salt but whichever u prefer will work
Thank you for sharing! Great haul!
I'm so happy for you and congratulations on your new home ❤
I recently stopped using Dr. Bronners also! Learned some stuff and felt very convicted. I'm glad you found a dupe and shared with us!!
Thank for the heads up! I just Googled it, we won't be buying it either!
Absolutely love Azure Standard! I’ve been ordering from them since 2006. Just a heads up, the Azure spices and seasonings are some of the best!! Such great quality.
Oh that’s good to know! I have a bunch in my cart right now!
I agree! We got garlic, onion, Ceylon cinnamon and they’re great!
Been up early binging your videos, perfect timing.
Aww you’re awesome!
Great haul! They were out of the A2 whole milk I ordered. I keep trying! I like to freeze milk- the taste is the same when it’s thawed and I always have milk in the freezer when I’m getting low. I did get their A2A2 powdered milk-I used some to make hot cocoa mix. And I have some for emergency.
I love the laundry soap!!
Sushi rice is our favorite rice to eat!! I buy in 50lb bags😅 cause it’s our go to cooked with a jar of bone broth. Yum!! We eat it with those tiny snack sheets of seaweed, too sometimes.
Freeze the chopped garlic in olive oil cubes :)
Happy New Year To You And Your Family 🎊 🎉💕💕💕💕
Just made leak n potato soup and it was delicious. Used the Once Upon a Chef recipe and added 3 stalks of celery as well. So good!
Looks great mama!
Love the haul ❤️
Hiya Tabitha. I’m new here. Katie sent me over. Love your videos so far. For a soup with leeks you can take leeks and potatoes chop them up add some garlic cloves and bring to a boil in some chicken bone broth once everything is soft blend with an immersion blender add salt and pepper and a pat of butter to each bowl. It’s my daughters favorite soup. Many blessings dear.
Uou can use your used lids to vacuum seal your jars with food saver or brake bleeder ,works great ,and uou can even vacuum seal nuts and keep on fridge ,I learned all that from rain country homestead, I just don't have any freezer space ,so vacuum sealing works great
.
What an awesome haul! We get that peanut butter as well. I dump the entire thing in my Kitchen Aid with a paddle attachment to mix the oil back in and then distribute it into quart jars. It lasts for a long time in the pantry that way!
Oh that’s exactly what I’m going to do! Thank you
I was wondering how I would deal with my bucket- I will do your tip, thanks for a great idea!
Hi new to your channel...but cut the tops off the garlic, place on a cookie sheet pan lined with foil ( less mess) and pour oil on the tops of the garlic and season how you like..roast at 400 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes....when cooled you can squeeze out the cloves and store in a jar in the refrigerator...ready for any recipe and soooo yummy and good for health ♥️🙏
Awesome haul!!!
Home made sushi is so good! I struggled so bad with cutting it though at first! You need to make sure u have a really sharp knife, make sure it’s wet when cutting the sushi and clean it after every cut, if it has any rice stuck to it from the previous cut, it won’t cut and you’ll end up with squashed sushi with stuff falling out everywhere 🙈
Tabitha and family have a great day have fun happy holidays thanks from Oklahoma
I've considered azure, then forgot about it, I'm glad you did this video on it! Can you do a video on the water kefir, what what you put with it?
Thanks for sharing I hope you and your family are doing well
Saute the leeks in butter and garlic until softened and add them to mashed potatoes. So delicious!!
Good Morning and Happy Wednesday love a great haul thanks for sharing ❤️🥰
That is so funny... Rumiano Farm is right across the street from my Sisters house in California and Alexanders farm is across the street and over the river from her house. So cool to see them on a youtube channel.
@thismamashouse I saw that you purchased canning lids from azure! Just wanted to let you know that the “forjars” canning lids they sell are amazing!! I’ve not had one seal failure using them and I’ve been doing so for a year now. Just an fyi😉
Good to know!
Love your channel and grocery hauls!!! I’ve been wanting to try azure for a while. Can’t wait to see how you like everything. Also a heads up incase you are not aware, the xylitol can cause tummy issues for some, and is poisonous to dogs. I know you have some fur babies, so wanted to let you know. ❤
Yes! I did know that! Thanks for posting here
You will live Azure ,I have been ordering for 5 years now, Its organic for most part ,if an item is not, they tell you. Meeting the truck is fun ,we all help each other, I have so many nice helpful people, and helpthem as I can ..good night quality on everything I have gotten from them....hope you give them a try and enjoy when you do!!
Great haul.
I remember when Azure was still new and sent out a small price list on paper!!! ❤️
I love blending fresh garlic, mix with oil)it is stored in the refrigerator for a long time and tasted like fresh garlic😅
We love Azure Standard. Have been ordering from them for a couple of years and just can't say enough good stuff about them. You will LOVE the Rumiano butter! I buy huge amounts! If you have pets, Xylitol is DEADLY even in the smallest amount. Even if a pet eats something you make with it, it will kill them.
The leek can you cut down and grow your own of inside in a glas.
Potato and leek soup are a great combo. Probably something you already know of but I had to mention it 🤣🥰
Thank you for sharing, love and blessings from Johanne, Norway 🇳🇴
We love cute kid interruptions ❤️ ❤️
Broccoli a favorite at my house yum,I can sour kraut yummy,we love brussel sprouts to,wow that's a giant peanut butter bucket, nice cutting mats, great haul
What a beautiful kitchen. I love all the windows and the cabinets are gorgeous! Love watching these grocery haul videos. It’s just my wife and I so not sure we would benefit from azure. I do go to Costco and Sam’s. The only bill items I buy are palaver towels, lol.
you can totally benefit from azure especially if you like costco and Sams. I haven't tried Sams yet
Hello I love ur haul's. For the peanut butter. Use mason jars or save the old peanut butter jars to store that peanut butter... Wow azure really sells quite the selection of stuff now...
Great idea!!
New follower enjoyed your haul. How will you store your Brussel sprouts?
I live in CA. Love Azure. We have no shipping charge here!
I'm always so jealous of everyone's azure hauls! The closest pick up tomus to 2 hrs away and thats just too far. I pray one comes closer soon.
How is your sourdough starter doing?
Hope your family is on the mend and had a Merry Christmas!!!
If you could get a few friends in on it you only have to meet a $500 order to start your own drop!
Oh!!! I'll have to look into that! Thank you!!
I wish we had options like this in Australia!
Hey friends 🤗 hugs grocery hunt for my large family mini love ❤️
We love azure! I’m excited to follow along with your grocery hauls! I’m always looking for new ideas!! A tip for the PB, it separates so I just add it to my stand mixer and mix it up real good then store in mason jars!
Hello how are you great grocery haul enjoy 😃
I absolutely love Azure, I rave about the rumiano butter and the alexander heavy cream on my channel. Brown sugar is very easy to make, just sugar and molasses in a stand mixer and mix for about 15 minutes. You can control whether you want light or dark by the amount of molasses. And I have never had a problem with any of their vegetables.
Start with Poke Bowls. It's just sushi ingredients in a bowl and it's way less labor intensive with all the yummy flavor.
My favorite video ❤️😘
You can make brown sugar very easy ! Just molassis and Sugar 😊
That’s what I’ve been doing lately!
You should try Costco business center there is so many great snacks there
Do you know if they ship to Canada?
What does water kefir taste like?
Maybe put your peanut butter in a squeeze tube? Just an idea
I see you have an Azure Standard link in the description box. Do you also have a promo code? I have my order ready to go, but didn't use your individual link when I hopped on the website. I'd like to still support you if I can because I love watching your homemaking videos! Thanks!!
Love Azure!! Are you on the Lilly drop in Michigan?
I was in Zeeland before we moved but now GR
Ugh, I wish we had an Azure drop up north! Bummer.
For the syrup, get a pump!
I wish my family liked brussel sprouts as much as yours 😂 my fiance and I are the only ones who like it. I can't wait to order from Azure , I've been filling up my cart slowly lol. And I don't know about the controversy with dr.bronners🧐
U could make leek and potato soup
Yum!
I plan to try azure soon. I'm trying to decide if I want to travel 2 hours one way to get an order. I started using gloves when I do dishes and don't know why I haven't started using sooner
We drive a little over an hour for ours. I try to only order a few times a year. Make it a big order and then it lasts for awhile and makes the trip worth it. I’ve also considered looking into starting our own drop. I’m not sure what all it entails except I know you need a total of 2K in orders for them to ship to that drop.
I will consider that
I’m really glad you carried on doing these videos
Azure has the best Maple Syrup that I have tried. I also love their Vanilla extract. I'm glad they have other options for Castile soap.
I’m from Lake Odessa. Are you around there??
Saw your Xylitol in your grocery haul. I use it as well. Keep in mind that it is extremely toxic/poisonous to dogs (food made w/Xylitol as well). Be careful if you have pets that like to snack on “people food.”
Can I ask how you cook the Brussels sprouts please
Oh my goodness it’s SO GOOD!! I put about 2 tablespoons butter and 2 tablespoons olive oil in a cast iron skillet… cut the bottoms off the brussels and cut them in half. Cook them in the oil with salt pepper garlic and I use 21 seasoning blend too until crispy. So yummy!!!
I mix with oil and seasonings and roast. I find it goes faster! But I’m not good at cast iron skillets so i bet that’s delicious!
New to this channel. Also know nothing of Azure. How much was this total haul? That's a key thing to determining for most if it is worth it. I take it they sell no refrigerated/cold products? Not saying that's bad, just wondering as I don't know anything about it. I of course can and will google it, etc. to see but in the meantime...
They do sell refrigerated and frozen foods!
I loved this haul but what did you do with all your food from your last house???
It's a family of 8... pretty sure they eat.
@@sjuditgordon lol yes ur right but I remember they had a pretty solid pantry and was just curious about it.
@Hummingbird Wolf she's pretty on top of things and not a wasteful person. Pretty sure she planned ahead and/or gave it away. 😉
@@sjuditgordon why does it sound like your being so defensive?? I’m so confused. I never doubted or suggested that she or her family was wasteful. I simply asked a question. Not every question needs to be met with a defensive response. I was just wondering how she implemented such a large food storage into her home.
You should check out the Simply living Alaska RUclips channel for leek and sourcrout recipes. Also leeks are used a lot in Japanese cooking. So you could even make a home schooling cultural lessons. And make together some of the most popular foods and drinks. Just an idea.
Just out of curiosity- why is the other brand of baking soda bad? They both say the ingredients are 100% sodium bicarbonate.
I’m wondering this too! I can’t find anything on the internet about it so I’m curious to hear the reason.
I couldn’t find anything online either!
Will you still be doing your Costco hauls?
Probably here and there... We might try sams too because it’s really close to us!
House tour please ♥
I thought your house looked different congratulations on your new house 🏡
Thank you! You can watch my empty house tour!! I’ll film another in the spring when we can get outside a bit too 😁
@@ThisMamasHouse I just finished watching that one love the house it's gorgeous
Why are people upset with Dr. Bronner's? I must've missed something.
I googled it, seems that recently the CEO has come out as using he/they pronouns
@@Jesstoni That's such a strange thing for people to get upset about. Dr. Bronner's has always been kind of a wacky company (folks have been flummoxed by the loquacious label and unusual religious philosophy for literal decades!).
I thought it was going to be a real scandal, or tax fraud, or a conspiracy theory. But no, here we are, drawing the line at pronouns.
Anyway, I didn't find that when I looked it up myself, so thanks for enlightening me!
I totally googled it right away. 🤣
It’s because Tabitha is scum just like her husband
@@aec7c yeah I know she is religious so I’m sure does not agree with all that
So happy I'm up this early in Utah to watch this! ☺️ I have those cutting boards, but a good recommendation just to be safe since you have babies is to put a wet paper towel under it keeps them from sliding.
I’m happy you’re up too because I never post this early haha
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’ve been waiting on this video since last year’s $5600 haul… I was just curious how you’re gonna top last yesr’s EPIC haul!
Greetings from a follower from Cairo, Egypt 🇪🇬
Don’t know if I will ever top that haha that even got me featured in news articles 😅
👏🏼🥰
Xylitol is extrememly toxic to pets, even in small amounts. Just any fyi. I didn't know this so Im passing it along. I love Azure!
Heads up xylitol is DEADLY to pets!!!!
You really think she wouldn’t know that at her age? 🤦♀️
@@dearleah7299 well..... 1st no need to be rude. 2nd a lot of people are not aware of that.
@@kellibrenneman3964 do you think people are not capable of educating themselves without your unsolicited info?
Had no clue what happened with Dr. Bronner. Googled it. Yep, I get it. Disgusting. Glad I never used that brand.
I tried looking it up, can't find anything? What happened?
You bought good healthy items I have that white sugar I'm diabetic and can have that ☺️💞🙏🎄🎅⛄
Just a side note citrus is actually in season during winter time. Lemons and oranges are best right now!! So grab what you can and you can freeze or dehydrate lemon. I like to eat an orange a day during this season.
