    The irony being that Lorgar doesn’t see the truth of it. Angron WANTS to die, he hates his legion and the Emperor; who suffers more from losing their primarch? The Wolves do, and Angron knew it

      Exactly. Angron cared nothing for the crusade or even the heresy later and hated every moment of being part of it all.
      If you ask me; part of the reason Angron dropped down to Istvaan III was because he was hoping Horus would go 'fuck it' and virus bomb the planet with him on it.
      Angron was already dead but he'd be damned if he wasn't going to die without an axe in his hand. That's all that mattered.

      Yeah, i noticed that too. It's the classic "won the battle but lost the war" thing, as noble as his actions may have seemed he probably would've not only died in vain but the high riders would had laughed and make an example of him only to continue the cicle of slavery creating more broken monsters like Angron.

    • @dirtywings7251
      @dirtywings7251 4 месяца назад

      The point of the rebellion was never to actually win or take control of the planet or gain anything.
      The point was to enact thier revenge and die free. That's all the slaves ever wanted; including Angron.
      Angron is the walking, talking embodiment of 'no slave should die of natural causes'.
      Which is also what makes his ascention to daemonhood either the ultimate release or the ultimate slavery depending on how you look at it.

    Sometimes Lorgar, despite his incredible harm to the vast majority of all living things through his allegiance to Chaos, does say some wise things.

    • @cantfindawayout
      @cantfindawayout 4 месяца назад +21

      To be fair, he pretty much always does things that are wise (with a few exceptions like fighting Corvus Corax even though Chaos Gods told him NOT to do that).
      If we really think about it, he is the only one out of all the Primarchs who has actually achieved the vast majority of his goals during the Horus Heresy. And he's doing pretty solid in 40k too. His Legion is one of the few that actually retained it's discipline, structure and coherence. He probably has the second most powerful Chaos force in the Galaxy right after Abaddon with his Black Legion (where most of the Chaos Astartes go). And he's continuing his work, slowly converting more and more planets to the worship of the Four for nearly 10000 years now.
      Lorgar is extremely wise. And he's winning.

    1.) Ayo, Rufus from them funny videos I like!
    2.) Ayo, he likes 40K!
    3.) While I’m used to the Black Library renditions of the primarchs and my expectations for the way they carry themselves through their voices is influenced by that, I do like this more subdued take, whether it was intentional or not. Black Library tends to have the primarchs, especially the traitors, be virtually Shakespearean in their voices, which only occasionally drops to a more grounded tone. I think it works for Lorgar here more than Angron. Perhaps dropping the face of the preacher for a few moments while seriously confronting his brother.
    So yeah. Would love to see more of these from you. Full blown primarch excerpts are surprisingly rare on RUclips. Maybe Fulgrim, Corax, or Alpharius perhaps?

      Bruh, Russ could have killed him at any time in their fight. It wouldn't have been easy, but Russ had dozens of chances to kill Angron. And yeah the World Eaters surrounded the Space Wolves, but Russ like any primarch in that scenario would have just fought his way out with only mild difficulty. Without their Primarch the World Eaters would have been annihilated. Not a clean win mind you, but Russ won the fight just by showing up.

      @@lucasshuyler8696nah,russ was getting owned by angron,until the wolves surrounded them.
      But even then it didn't matter because russ's whole thing was trying to show how the nails damaged the world eaters not realizing that angron could not care less and actually laughed in his face,making that an L for russ too,,,
      so in all,angron pretty much came out on top,because he did not cede to russ,the world-eaters went on,and the point russ wanted to make was meaningless

    • @lucasshuyler8696
      @lucasshuyler8696 4 месяца назад +5

      @omegamark9178 OK clearly you're lacking comprehension of the lesson. Plus, seriously dude Angron couldn't Ever beat Russ in a straight duel.
      Outside of this scenario alone we've seen Russ go toe to toe with Magnus, Lion, and Horus. He beat Horus but hesitated at the last second(Book is Wolfsbane), he beat Magnus tho barely, and then he only lost to Lion because he laughed at how stupid their reason to fight was letting Lion sucker punch him.
      Meanwhile Angron during the heresy only ever really fought Guiliman, and yes he was winning but BARELY. Robute was Actually able to hold back Angron way damn longer than he should have. Seriously if Guiliman can give Angron trouble then he's nowhere near able to even fight Russ seriously. Russ never wanted to kill Angron, the Wolves had him surrounded, and worse of all Lorgar literally told Angron he lost twice that day. Russ proved not only that Angron could've died multiple times due to his crazed nature, but that also the World Eaters never gave a shit about him. At least not enough to try and save his dumbass.

      @@lucasshuyler8696 funny you bring up magnus,because of many factors like magnus nerfing the TS response to the wolves arrival,magnus not being into the fight until he had enough,not to mention the big e's anti-psyker cheat codes the sisters of silence and custodes,otherwise it would have been game over for the leman and the wolves almost immediately
      Gulliman is the primarch of the ultramarines who have THE plot armor in 40k,so of course bobby g's is gonna be magnified x50,,,lol
      seriously though gulliman is very underrated as a duelist,but ya know who ain't?
      The Lion. Yeah russ put up a good fight but if the lion really wanted it,russ would have been kiboshed!
      Seriously he is one of the few who actually beat kurze and about the only one who could possibly beat sanguinius in a duel.
      And just my opinion but was horus was maybe a tad overrated,just sayin,,,
      oh and as for lorgar?
      yeah there is a guy ya wanna take advice from lol

    • @lucasshuyler8696
      @lucasshuyler8696 4 месяца назад +5

      @omegamark9178 Alright then, let's break this down. Guiliman is underrated, I agree. Plot armor aside That Still Proves Angron Ain't Shit.
      The Lion is an Equal/Opposite to Russ as they both share very similar skill sets, unlike the Lion. However, Russ is a psyker. Yes, he hates using his powers, but he still did like on Propspero to nullify certain skills and abilities such as the Lion's senses.
      With Magnus, Leman would have still won their duel regardless of the Custodes or Sisters or even their legions' involvement. Yes, Magnus weakened the response to the Space Wolves, but do note that the forces Russ arrived with were never meant to kill him. His original orders were to take him in. Regardless, Russ' own psyker abilities are seemingly themed to nullify Primarch/Psyker abilities as seen across the Burning of Prospero should he have used them more, it's likely Magnus would have stood no chance anyways.
      Finally, just because Horus is indeed overrated doesn't mean he's any less powerful. Russ beat a Chaos ascended Horus 1v1, knowing that his sheer skill and, more importantly, the Spear would take him out faster than Horus could.
      He's faster, stronger, smarter, and far more durable than Angron ever was or would be. Hell, Russ would just feel sorry for him because there's little glory in putting a sick animal out of its misery.
