If there is one thing that you need to remember about long distance relationships, it’s this, When there’s a will, there’s a way. Don’t give up just because you think it will never happen for you. If you want something so bad, you’ll find ways to make it work.

hey Brad I love your videos are really helpful thank you then with this one is one that means the most to me and her were together for like 6 months we were like the perfect couple we laughed we joked around we like the gaming the only difference is I like horror films and she did it LOL well anyways we broke up because she told me that it's better better this way because we're going to separate colleges the like 2 hours away 3 hours and then basically she just told me that I am an amazing person sugar sheep she really likes me and she doesn't want to think that she doesn't and she ate what she said she said she could love me but you said she doesn't feel the same way and does she is a long distance relationship hasn't worked with her in the past she just doesn't think that this one will and she thinks I'm meeting her at work we were total opposites which I don't think is totally true and he related to the last no one laughed at my jokes as much as she did and she was the first girl I kissed and to be entirely honest I don't agree with what you said because me finding somebody else when I didn't even bring it up we're not even that she just found it she's at her home country now she lived in Bosnia and then she came here around 2007 cheese visiting there and then she's moving out right after and I was going to start the no contact rule after first gaming day that me and her were going to do me and her she wanted to stay in contact with me she wanted to play online games with each other at least twice a month so that's good so I can tell them I can tell she didn't want to break up the only thing is I have to work not bringing up past problems he never lied to me bringing up past problems and she never liked me being too needy for her or the second one the first one but then she wanted me to be independent with myself and I wanted to do anything to become the man that you want me to be in the man that I won't be I was going to stop the no contact rule that would be around September 25th September 14th so that's my plan and I think I could change for her she's at the man that she wants me to be the man that I want to because she's the one from you and I can just tell you never argued was him you know how he was doing past relationships but I wasn't arguing I was just more sad talk she even said that she really likes me numbers for the longest in-person relationship because most of her relationships have been long distance but they don't end up working out in the end so thank you for the steps that really mean a lot to me cuz this girl really just like the one for me but you have any other tips I can use it would really mean a lot

Hey Brad, remember me when I commented on this video? Well I just want to let you know that me & my ex started talking again today. I told her I was doing very well & that I was being very productive, keeping myself busy which is true. She also told me she's doing very well. We both did say it was good to talk to each other again. I told her I already registered & will start college in August. Then she told me that she started going back to church & everything seems to be looking up. And I didn't say "I Miss You." or "I Love You" during the conversation which took places on Twitter or at the end of the conversation. I did tell her I was praying for her everyday & she thanked me for that & say it touches her heart when people pray for her. She seriously thanked me for that. I hope one day we can rebuild that relationship you know. I will believe what you said about the thing happening naturally on it's own. I'll let you judge me on how I did & what I have told you. I hope I'm doing good.

***** Your username does look familiar, but as you can tell, I can't keep track of the situation here -- even if I want to -- since there's a lot of new comments everyday. Get my coaching program instead so I can monitor your situation on a regular basis and guide you accordingly, especially if you're still unsure how to go about it despite having watched my videos or read my guide. Generally it's okay to be communicating -- and you did okay by not stirring up drama -- so long as you're past the 30-day period of silence. Good luck!

Hey Brad, me and my LDR gf broke up few days ago. She said she has fallen out of love, and asked me to be just friends
to which I responded: I told you what I want, I wont sit around and watch you date other guys, I loved you for what love really is, so yes, unless you want to get back to what we were, I am out!"
she then replied: I understand, best of luck in everything ;*
I havent contacted her again after that, although the tempation is real, what are the chances she calls back after my msg. We were together for 7 months and she was head over heels inlove with me!

Back off and employ the 30-day “no contact” rule first. In order to fully understand how this concept works, you ought to know why you're doing it in the first place, otherwise you’re just following blindly. So watch the free in-depth video on my website to learn some psychology techniques and understand how giving each other space for around a month can benefit you (and why you’re supposed to be doing it) than otherwise, at www.breakupbrad.com

Hi Brad. My boyfriend and I were in a serious committed relationship for 5 years. (The first three years in person , the next 2 years long distance). We've been having a lot of arguments recently and he said he needs space. He went on his space for 1 and a half month and then we broke up. It's been 1 month and a half that we've been broken up. He kept replying to my stories though, saying how gorgeous I am and opening small talks. Then I called him since I was so desperate two days ago and he said that he's happy being single and doesn't want to come back in a relationship with me but he loves me and cares for me. He cried too when we were talking. At the end he said move on and be happy. So my question is, what should I do now? Is it over for good? Or shall I try no contact? We used to have a very special bond and he wanted to propose to me too. We were planning to end the distance by me moving to America. I don't know what happened ..

    • @BradBrowning

Fighting is often unavoidable, but when it becomes too much, it’s time to nip the problem in the bud if you still can. So it's either that or you go on a break and discuss the logistics as well as how it should go and how long it should be. What were you two fighting or arguing about? It's best to consider the relationship overall first, so watch this: ruclips.net/video/XuJFf5Kch5o/видео.html Anyways it's best to give it time because all this arguing had taken a toll in your relationship. This may help: ruclips.net/video/BBEhaY3gLIw/видео.html Perhaps you've both argued more than you had a good time with each other? It could also be you're too incompatible or stubborn to meet each other halfway. If the negatives outweigh the positives in the relationship, that's when an imbalance happens and the relationship will keel over wherein one or both people will likely abandon ship, as the case with your ex. It's time to reset things. Start with the 30-day "no contact" rule to get your ex into a psychological neutral. Here's how it can help you: y2u.be/zw0ChuXCEmw

I was engaged and she was about to come live with me after three years of waiting. We saw each other almost monthly. Yet, I broke up with her because I felt my needs were not being met but regret it now and I’m depressed. I tried to get her back but she said she was done and didn’t want to talk. She sounded angry. So I sent a message taking ownership over my mistakes and letting her know I still wanted to try but if that’s not what she wanted then I would respect it. She didn’t reply and deactivated her Facebook. I’m sad can’t sleep or cry. Hard to eat. Lost about 12 lbs in a week. Been going to the gym and have therapy sessions coming up because I uncovered many canned issues I had. I don’t know what todo anymore. Just taking it day by day. Decided to open up a small business and hit the gym like a mad person. I feel like I won’t ever be able to move on. I’m devastated.

Hey Brad, so my ex and I are both 18, 3 days ago she broke up with me because she said that she felt the relationship wasn't as much of a priority in her life as things like school, job, and friends. She told me that she wanted to go find herself, she didn't give me any hint of us getting back together. She told me that she still wanted to be friends, that at the end of it I'm still her friend. I'm trying to take this time to work on myself and make positive life changes that I realize I should have made a long while ago. But I'm still completely in love with her, I broke down the first two days, I was a total mess. Now I don't necessarily feel depressed or anything but I just want to talk to her again. To flirt and joke and be the guy she fell in love with in the first place. I actually feel optimistic in a way, I believe in our relationship, and that the distance was the issue. That if I can just take her out, and reignite the romance from the start, she'll fall for me again. I'm not sure if I'm kidding myself or being delusional and not accepting it's over, but I have hope. The urge to talk to her is so strong sometimes, I miss having fun with her. The only thing I'm happy about because of the break up is that I was able to take a step back and realize the things I need to improve in my life. This girl is amazing, she's funny, smart, charismatic, beautiful, and determined. I want a relationship with her, I don't know how to get her back, all I can think is to improve myself as you said. Am I doing it right? Is there anything else I should be doing in this time right after the breakup? I have a trip down to her city for a dentist appointment on valentines day, is that too soon to reach out? The only thing I'm certain of right now is that I love her. Everything else feels so up in the air. How do I proceed?

    • @BradBrowning
      @BradBrowning  6 лет назад

She's lost attraction for you and it's a terrible idea to be friends with her. The boundaries won't be clear and you're technically both free to date other people. Wouldn't it be pure torture if your ex dates someone else in front of you because you're only "friends" now, don't you think? So it’s not a good idea, especially if you want this ex back. Watch these two videos so you’ll know why being friends won’t lead you anywhere you wanna be with your ex and how to get out of this trap, respectively at ruclips.net/video/yd6pvNVeHjI/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/sS4V4IOcOgs/видео.html but read my Ex Factor Guide since that’s much more detailed and so you'll know how to go about it, what to do after each phase (there are three phases in total), including what to say, do or not do, along with free bonus materials for texting. Good luck!

    Part 4 and last:
We also talked about to wait and see what will happen when he's happy again. If we are going to get together again or just to be... friends :( But I always have that "what if.." In my mind. What if he has lost the feelings for me when he's happy again? It would kill me even more to see him with another girl.
Brad I need your help.. What should I do now?
As I told you, I cry everyday because I need his love and I miss him SO much! I want him back.. And I keep thinking about our good memories when we were together..
Should I keep fighting for him when I love him so, so, so much and will do anything for him?

Hi Brad! Yesterday my girlfriend broke up with me after 7 months of long distance relationship. We had so much fun and she even told me that she was gonna miss these times and that she is thankfull for having met me, but now she does not love me anymore. Still, she does not want me to disappear from her life completely and was scared that I would hate her for breaking up. Of course I don`t hate her. I do however believe that I might have put too much pressure on her. During our relationship I sent her love letters and little presents, but she never wanted any of those. She is not that romantic and neither am I. I did that out of fear of losing her. I was so afraid of her giving up on me that I lost myself and made her my emotional crutch and only source of happiness. I know now what I did wrong, but I do not want to give up! I will work on my selfesteem and live my own life! I just do not want to lose her forever. We talked so much everyday and were always there for eachother... It hurts just to write about it. Also, she is currently in training to become a caretaker in a hospice, which strains her emotionally to the point of losing her friends and family. She also has almost no free time and is always working or studying. Do you believe she got rid of me to concentrate on her training? May I get a second chance to be the man she actually needs?

    • @BradBrowning
      @BradBrowning  8 лет назад

+DrakorGaet Man you're better off cutting off contact for around a month and let her miss you, okay? Otherwise, you'd risk being in a emotional roller coaster ride and seeing her date someone else. You see, mixed emotions from an ex ( to the point of almost being bipolar) is very common when a breakup is still fresh and this is why I tell people to cut off contact for at least a month first and NOT deal with an ex. A breakup hurts both people in it regardless of who has done the breaking up. This is something I've discussed here, watch it to learn a few tips to understand your situation better:ruclips.net/video/RN6ndJZ0J-w/видео.html

Hey Brad, I met this guy online, January of 2016, we became best of friends, then, it turned into more than just friends - basically, we developed feelings for each other, and after three months of being best friends, we decided to go on with it, and we became long distance lovers. Everything was going great and amazing, then, first week of August, he went completely cold, so, i talked to him, and he said he's going through a really rough time with his career, and he's just completely lost, and he asked me for space until he figures out his next step. So, I gave him the space, and after about another week, he gave me the good news, and told me it's starting to be going great again for him, and we're great again, everything is going fine, until a few days later, it's my career then went in jeopardy, I didn't told him anything about it yet, because I saw how devastated he was when his career was in a funk. So, I did acted normal to him, like nothing is happening. The truth is, I lied to him that I was at work, the truth is I fled straight to my mum. The next day, he found out that i lied, and he confronted me. When he confronted me, i panicked and I didn't know what to do - I told him that I am not at work, but didn't told him that I was at mum's, when he asked me why I said that, I told him A PART OF THE WHOLE REASON, I wasn't basically making any sense at all when I told him why, I told him my feelings why I lied to him, but, I never told him what caused it. I begged and pleaded him to give me one more chance, that same day and I told him that i know what should do to keep him, and It won't never happen again. But, he said "No, you don't have to rebuild anything, because we're done. I don't tolerate lying. I will not trust and love you, I can't and I won't even if I like to. I won't take the risk." After a few days, I gathered the courage and the proper state to tell him the WHOLE THING; what caused it, why - EVERYTHING. "I am sorry to hear that, but that's not an excuse for you to lie to me."" then, about three days ago, when we last spoke, He said, "I don't mean to upset you or anything, but there's another girl, she likes me and I like her. and i am 100% sure she's not lying to me, and she's real and nice." Brad, I want him back. It's been 2 weeks since he told me we're done, and it's been 2 days since we last spoke. Brad I want him back. I need your help, please. I need him back in my life. I never felt like this to anyone ever. Brad, I need him back. Please help.

Hello Brad, my ex boyfriend whom i love dearly, told me that the distance is the only thing that is bothering him, and there's nothing else. We live in two different countries with 5:30hrs gap. I badly want this to work, because we both have feelings, but distance bothers him. If there was not any, we would have been together. Hopefully we will be.

    • @BradBrowning

Yes, it's always been a major hurdle in long distance relationships. Unfortunately that's something (the physical distance/gap) only you two can resolve if you both want it. Never force it though. Good luck!

In my situation, we are both still in school and don't have the money or time to see eachother in person. We just broke up (after three years) because he said he didn't see our relationship going anywhere and that he couldn't wait another year to see me. He brought up the distance randomly one day and started stalling around the topic and finally I broke it off, because I knew he couldn't and it was what he wanted/thought was best. He said he was still in love with me and it was the hardest thing he had ever done. I am heartbroken and fell into the hole of texting him because he convinced me to "stay friends". But then I deleted all means of contacting him because it was really hurting me and I am giving it a break. Idk if it is really a good idea to get back together, or to wait till I'm older and see him in person. My dilemma is that if I wait, I am afraid he will find someone else or I will find someone else and it will be too late. Idk what to do.

Hey Brad,I broke up with my boyfriend 3 weeks ago. He's in Africa and I in Europe for a 2 year study.I was hurt with the way he handled everything and how he treated me towards the end (distant, rude, picking fights, not picking my calls, not replying to texts for days).Well, long story short,he later explained it was due to the distance but asked that we keep in touch because of the friendship we had.I respected his decision, didn't do any of the things you advised us not to after a break up.I politely turned down the "lets be friend's" offer and asked him to in turn respect my decision because he kept texting me and I explained I am not ready to be friends may be in time,it will come naturally.
I decided to do this because like you said,we are still far apart and I do not want to be in that state again because I'm sure if I maintain the friendship I am bound to get hurt further.I am trying to heal. When do you think the best time would be if ever to contact him or should i just let him be?

    • @BradBrowning
      @BradBrowning  10 лет назад

Kobe Kebede Hello Kobe, yes, distance can really take a toll in a relationship, as in your case. Stay strong and be sure not to give in if he insists on contacting you. The root of the problem may not still be solved since I assume you will still be apart (physically) in the future? Also take note of the tips I talked about here: ruclips.net/video/5tNRL7dWCTA/видео.html

Hey brad, I have been in a relationship for a year and a half with my ex(ish) boyfriend. Now, were starting to go to different colleges and he decided that he wants to focus on school and himself, etc. However, our relationship was so strong, we never fought, we were each other's best friend, there was so much love for each other, etc. So there was really no reason, other than being scared of ruining our relationship by making it long distance, to end. He's really confident that we can stay really close, but not be exclusive... Do you suggest that I just move on and cut off contact? Or should I try to hold onto that friendship?

    • @BradBrowning
      @BradBrowning  10 лет назад +1

Hannah Marie DeSanto Hi Hannah, do not settle for friendship unless you've healed first. Now this takes time and can't be rushed, so right now, the best thing for you to do is to cut off contact and focus on yourself, really take time to recover. It looks like he isn't into long distance relationship, and nobody can force him to think otherwise. Make him miss you and feel what it's like not to have you in his life. Turn to your friends for support and again, your ex is not a friend for now. Make sure you heal first, okay. :-)

Hello Brad, I was in a relationship for 3 years and was planning on moving to my boyfriend in November, but he broke up with me and has been using the past to solidify his reasons to not be with me. He mentioned that I am his best friend and he loves to talk to me, but cant handle being in a relationship anymore. I am currently on the no contact rule right now, but am fearful that when I start talking to him again that he will bring up the past. How do I stop that or prevent him from doing that?

Hi Brad, I was in a long distance relationship for almost a year. My ex is 31 and I'm 22. As our relationship progressed, I found out that he had continuously lied and kept things from me. Every time I ended up taking him back. A couple of weeks ago, he disappeared without a word. He did not answer my calls and would not reply to my messages. Finally, a week later he contacts me and ends up explaining he got a job offer in another country and was going to break up with me beforehand but couldn't do it. He also said that many of his friends and family members had told him there was no way someone my age who would want to settle down any time soon, which is ultimately what he wanted. At that point, I had enough and decided to end things with him. He kept telling me how he still loved me and hoped that we could still be friends. We ended things on relatively good terms. I stopped contact with him for about a week but texted him again a couple of days ago. He called me "babe" and told me how it was a habit as he still saw me as his girlfriend. He told me this while he was vacationing in Miami apparently "drowning his sorrows". When I asked him what he wanted (I was trying to figure out whether I still wanted to stay friends with him), he told me his batteries were going to die and I haven't heard from him in 2 days. I just need to know whether I'm being conned again because his actions don't seem to align with what he's telling me. And also what is the point of telling someone you still love them if it it's just not true? It's hard for me to move on like this.

    • @BradBrowning
      @BradBrowning  9 лет назад

michelle fu The only way to know for sure if he's sincere, is to cut off contact and allow him time to process your feelings as well as get into a calmer, clearer state of mind. Because as I can tell, things kind of like happened at the spur of the moment? Give it time and space to settle down and not make things worse. The argument was about him moving on so fast , I suggest we should be friends for now, then I change my mind . Things got better we communicated more, I thought why not get back together. Then he said well let's just be friends for now ... A Week later he has pictures of his new girl on his Facebook ....

Hello Brad. My girlfriend of 4 years just recently broke up with me 3 weeks ago. Out of our 4 year relationship, 2 of those years have been long distance. She's from the West Coast, I'm in the East Coast. We met online in 2010 when she was 21 and I was 25 and started dating, a month later she told me she wasn't ready for a relationship because she had so much going on with her family and school, she didn't want to add on anymore stress. So we went our separate ways and then a month later she contacted me again. We talked as "flirtatious" friends for a couple of months and then she came to visit me and told me she wanted to give it a shot again. So we got back together in 2011. She then moved to the East Coast to live with me, but ended up moving back to the West Coast in 2013. This past May, we broke up again because she said she wasn't ready and needed to figure out her life. I did the NC rule and a month later she contacted me saying she missed me and made a mistake, and so we got back together. Now, again, she's saying she's unsure about our relationship and if she's ready to commit which has been making her unhappy. Now that she's back home with her friends, she's having fun, all the things she was deprived of doing because she was in a long distance relationship and because when she lived me with I didn't like to party because I was over that scene. I begged a little and tried to persuade her to give me another chance, but it didn't work. The things is, we have about 5 tattoos each for each other, 2 of the 5 are each other's names and the date we started our relationship (I know, I'm stupid). So finally I gave up and told her I'd give her her space. I really love this girl and I see a future with her - marriage and kids, but 1) I can't force someone to be ready for something they aren't ready for yet and 2) I don't want to be with someone who is indecisive about what they want. We have a long history together - more good than bad. If it's meant to be it'll be, right? I think she needs more than a month or two (she needs more like 6-12 months) to focus on herself and where she wants to be in life. And she asked when we broke up if we could still be friends, but I told her no not right now. Do you think there's still hope?

    • @BradBrowning
      @BradBrowning  10 лет назад

Shannon Minter You seem to be a sensible person. Work on that trait and allow it to guide you in making decisions. You're right about 1 & 2. And while I don't know your entire situation, I think she may just be losing interest for some reason. I wouldn't know for sure what it is until I get to know more about your story. On the other hand, you can also try to figure this out yourself by using the time apart to see what went wrong and if the issues can be resolved or not. All right? But feel free to sign up if you need my help in doing this. Good luck!

    • @shannonminter2598

Brad Browning She text me yesterday that she missed talking to me. As much as I want to talk to her, I told her it was best she did not contact me, as I understood why she needed to break up because she needed to figure out herself and her life, however, I was still bitter about the break up. She said the ship hasn't sailed with us; she doesn't know what the future entails, but she hasn't ruled out the possibility that we would get back together. I told her since this was the 3rd time she's been unsure about a serious commitment, that it was best we still just give each other time and space, and that if we were meant to be, it'll be. And then when I told her I had to go and that I hoped she had a good day, she said "Thanks....Miss you."

      @BradBrowning  10 лет назад

Yes. You'll learn valuable lessons from every breakup, even if you don't actively sit down and analyze/reflect.... it happens subconsciously, much like we're constantly learning from making minor mistakes in everyday life (ie. just found out my toothbrush will fall over if it's set down on the counter after toothpaste is applied, won't try to do that again). There's plenty of time for the conscious 'analyzing' and closure-seeking once both you and your ex have moved on and the emotions have faded.

In my mind, I don't deserve to be blocked because I loved him genuinely and trusted him 100%... a simple or the usual petty issue like asking his time and I was being childish and maybe he got fed up of me but I have here in my heart the desire of hearing my side.

Hi Brad, me and my girlfriend broke up 1 week ago, and I don't even know whether that's a break up. Because she told me she wants to 'temporarily break up' with me for a while, and she won't delete me on the social media network of any kind (Facebook for example, it still says in relationship with me) and will not tell any of her friends. She is 22 and I am 26, I loved her with all my heart. During our 9 month relationship we had a perfectly happy time with no fight, no dispute, she told me she had a lot of tension (school, work, study, money, etc) and she needs time to calm down a little bit. After she told me that I couldn't take the fact that she is leaving me so I kept sending message to her and last friday after a really long message showing that how much I loved her, she called me and said 'temporarily break up' . Now I really don't know what to do, could you please help me? Oh btw, when we were dating we were both in Melbourne, Australia and I moved to Brisbane couple of months ago for work. She is still in Melbourne. Our long distance relationship is 4 months. Please help!

Hello crews, part of the problem I see here is her wanting to take a little time away for whatever reason... and you reacting quite badly to it by showing her how much you love her. Realize that that was counterproductive because she might have felt trapped. Anyway, what you can do now is tell her that you understand and respect her need for a break and back away immediately. Attempting to make her change her mind will only backfire, but most importantly, make sure you don't make this mistake: 6 Things You Should Never Text Your Ex (Bad Text Messages)

so my girlfriend, high school sweatheart, first kiss, first everything went away for college while I stayed home. After a year of love and laughter we were prepared to do the long distance thing. Until out of nowhere she says we need to take a break, so we took our break and just yesterday she came home and we had a talk where she said she "dose not feel the same way" she wants to remain friends and yes I screwed up by crying in her arms but I love this girl more than anything and there was a time where she could stop talking about me. she would never let me go home, never let me go to bed without saying I love you so what we had was real and I cant let her throw it away because I smothered her for a week at college. I love this girl more than anything and I need her back

We had some Spiritual / Religious differences as we belonged to different Christian Denominations but other than that, we were almost perfect for each other. She abruptly ended it and left back to her country when her grandmother fell ill and ghosted me within a week of her return. Depending on what really cut the relationship short, it may be time to consider moving on from this. But don't rush. Always take the time to give each other space first, all right? Do a minimum of 3 weeks of "no contact" and see if you still want your ex and if your ex is receptive to contact AFTER that period. Watch this:

@@BradBrowning Thanks for replying. I've narrowed it down to various reasons for her cutting it off, but I believe the primary reason was homesickness and her not wanting to relocate. Everything else was used as an excuse for her leaving. Like I said, she appeared to be bread-crumbing me shortly after ghosting me by staying in regular contact w/ my dad who she developed a close bond w/ as they both lived under the same roof during her brief stay here and even reached out to him on Valentine's Day. I also received a private call back in early March that I believe to have been her as well. All that seems to have ended as she told my dad shortly thereafter that she found a job and wasn't returning again. It's been over 3 months now since I've heard from her and I haven't tried to reach out to her since mid-January. I still miss her but I've resolved myself that it's over and am just giving myself time to heal and get over her before picking up the pieces and moving on. Working on myself to be a better "catch" for the next one I guess. Thanks again hermano.

edu william I have the same situation...
Let me be very honest to you (she 29 I'm 23). Us young guys attract older woman frankly because of that age difference and wild life etc. They want that thrill of a fun life, Challenge her! Play boyish games! but also be a man at heart! and she will fall. Excuse my French, but you have to use young buck and say "f#ck" her new relationship, build attraction and literally take her from him. It's simple like getting a girls number, texting every once in a while, laugh, call and she will decide on her own to leave him, but you must never ask her too nor talk about him, only talk about good things, sweet nothing. Don't be afraid to get intimate on the phone etc. One more thing. Please don't be Mr. F#cking nice guy. Stay the hell out of the friend zone. Her confusion is your chance. Get her bro

edu william wow! so similar to me. I wonder who you are! as of now it's been a month since I talked to her. after my last visit in AMSTERDAM etc (different countries) I told her it would be best for me that we do not contact one another, that way I could move on. Friendship? hell no! don't do it, or become her emotional dumping ground. she's already complaining to you about him and dragging you along, get the fuxk out. Be friendly with short texts about who good your life is going, no tease but to show her that you can live without her, which you should be able too. At this point I felt my lady needed to make a real decison instead of being a little girl though she was older. All woman will have some tick, you just got to know how to turn the clock and now, time is in your hands. Please, talk to other woman for the sake of conversation, exercise, get your mind off her. If things are the way they should be between you two, then there should be nothing stopping her from attempting, showing, or speaking about the idea that she wants you back. She has to make a choice. As of now I couldn't text my ex because it felt like I'd start from square one when I am happy without her. She will suffer the absence of my presence, but she has to learn. If you can text her, non-emotionally from the past relationship, go for the big Mac daddy cane, in other terms, the guy all the ladies want. I told you before about that young buck mentality, she will fall. Social media is a great way to portray that to her, but don't make it obvious or try to make her too jealous. Her mind will fathom it's own creepy thoughts, like the one you have of the new guy fuc#ing her! right now.. jk. but seriously, get your sh!t in line. I met two beautiful woman just yesterday, inb the same place and flirting with both of them at. They even noticed me exchanging numbers. I hugged one in the store I had an interview in and the other ended up kissing me outside after a smooth talk. wtf! tell me about it, want what they can't have. I want neither, ego boosting and having a good time! besides girls and woman are great to hang with every once in a while. Get your ex later, it's your turn to shine. Smooth shirt texts.. while she's on lock down your single! remember that sh!t!. The new guy is a rebound and shortly will be left. Take your time and don't fu#k up. I think I'm going to move on. After realizing who she was and the opportunities I have now! sorry bro, I think she hurt me enough and I should go. Feels great by the way! good luck

You talk batter then brad do sorry I didn't want to sound mean. But is always better to hear from people that have the same problem as you do.
Yesterday she did text me and after that she did call me on FaceTime.
We have talking more then 4 hours in the middle of the night.
That woman is a broken heart and soul she did have something real bad when she was a child that's way she turn off in 1 second.
She used to be everything that I have but now I don't think that.
When sadly start to hang out with my friend that she used to say that I don't need to worry about did become my nightmare right now I'm fucking heating the idea that she is with him because she deserve someone better that man is just a player that going to hurt her feelings after.
But me nah I did always care about her and I did always love her even if she's hard to love I could risk everything that I have just to have her.
But she say after that last night talk that she want me to live my life and she is sure that god well cross our roads again in the future for the fuck seek if you love someone do you even say that to them.
If you want me to live my life come and be next to me then.
Don't be such a hoe jumping from a relationship to other.
Sorry for all the bad words I'm just trying to think well that's all and if someone wants to help just reply to my comments thanks to everyone and you to brad your videos is helping some how.

Dear Brad, my girlfriend who lives abroad and me had a relationship for 3 months. We went on vacation together and fell in love, it was very passionate. I went to visit her a few times times in her country, but the distance was very hard for her. It was weighing on her and and she became more distant everytime cause she was afraid to get too attached and the passion faded because of this. She has to study for 2 more years and we thought we could handle the distance, but the distance was too hard for her, so we broke up with the thought that maybe we can try it again in 2 years and one of us would move (she’s not ready to live together yet). After the breakup we’ve been together for 5 more days and got along good, so we broke up without a fight. We still talk daily, but this is hard for me cause it kinda hurts and brings up good memories, but on the other hand, I still care alot about her and enjoy hearing from her and being there to support her. We said we want to stay in eachothers lives, but I really want her back. If not now, then in 2 years. But because we talk everyday she doesn’t miss me. Now I decided it’s maybe best not to talk for a while, so I can try rebuilding her attraction towards me. But I don’t know if the 1 month rule will work for me. She is facing a hard period with exams now and I don’t want her to think I don’t care about her and stuff. And we probably gonna meet again in a month or 2. Oh and I may have announced that I think it’s better not to talk for a while because I’m strugglin’ so much. That probably wasn’t a good idea. Does the no contact-rule loses it’s effect by this? If so, how can I repair the damage. And I may have done some begging and stuff, so I pratically did everything wrong. I just want her to get feelings for me again and to miss me when she doesn’t hear from me.
Can you please give me some advice? I really don’t know what to do..
    Thanks :)

John S. Hey John, you seem to have already gotten a good idea on what to do, so trust yourself and follow through with that plan (except the attempting to be caring part)! :-) The "no contact" phase will work in a sense not to magically get her back, but rather to increase whatever chance of that happening -- as opposed to talking daily where you're literally gaining nothing but more heartache each day. Use your time wisely instead and cut off contact in order to accept the situation. You don't have to act all caring even if you do. Realize that what you're doing here is giving all your power away and leaving none for yourself, and that's not good. Don't give her the benefit of being in a relationship when she clearly stated that she may only want to be friends. Take time to gather yourself first, work on getting yourself happy and not needing her. the happier you are being single, the better your chances of drawing love to you -- which may or may not include your ex. Get my Ex Factor Guide so you won't have to go through unnecessary pain. Take care!

Thanks for the support! I'm only at day 8 of the no-contact and I struggle everyday not to give in. Still that fear that she will think I'm not interested anymore and that I might lose her forever. But I try to stay strong, I hope I manage to get to 30 days. Thanks again :)

Just try to make sure you maximize what you can within this 30-day period such as healing yourself, enjoying your own company, as well as spending time to see where it all went wrong, but only when you start to feel better, so be sure to take time to grieve first and feel the loss and cry all you want but then make an effort to pick yourself up first. Remember, you can't pick someone up (to be back in a relationship with you) if you're also feeling down yourself. Now is the time for self love. So give yourself the time and attention you need to heal first, all right? Good luck!

Hi, my bf broke up with me.... we had been un a relationship for 6months, sharing dreams and plans with each other, planning to see each other after we graduate from college. Making each other strong and pulling each other up. But suddenly, he told me he dont love me anymore. That he woke up and he cant stand in a long distance relationship. Before the break up, i had an arrangement to my college that my final internship will be done in their place and i wanted to take that chance to see him. I told him that, yet now it is like i am a stranger now to him. He dont even talk to me not unless i do it first, cold and short replies and hurtful words that he dont say when he is still "asleep and loving me" .... i am thinking if i am just his imagination .... girls are over him because of his good qualities .... i will still go there because everything is fixed with the school.... and i am confused.... if i will see him or not since he doesnt love me at all..... i am afraid ..... i dont know what to do to make him realize my worth .... if i have a worth in him...... thank you sir for reading

The good news is there may still be a chance, but the bad news is you have to do the right things and learn to somehow control your emotions. Operating out of fear is not a good idea. The only time he will have a chance to realize your worth is if you cut off contact completely and go about your own life and try to accept what has happened and help yourself in the process, all right? Take care!

that girl i've been seeing througout 7 monts called me last monday and said she nned to stop this between us.
Since we been havde to much negativity. Shortly information she brok up with her x she been with for 4 years when her and i started to talk from day one it was love deep love.
but 3 ish month ago we started fighting and misunderstanding each other.
She told me last monday when she brok up that she had lost some of her feeling after a really big fight we had in april and now she need to take care of her self.
Also she told me that she beleived that the biggest problem was she think we are to different.
So yesterday we had a shorter phonetalk. See sounded calm and also she told me she was getting happier wth out her up and downs in her mood.
As she said she said : since i feel this its the right thing i did...
She told me she saw i had gotten a new couch on fb... and asked me how i felt.
I told her that i was doing all kind of things, but ofc a bit sad when u letting go of someone u love but also told her thx for all great things. She told me it made her happi to know i was doing well cause she had been afride that it would be the oppiset.

BUT who should i do this when its a long distiance relationship?
Does she have any kind of feeling that i should be aware of like is she missing me even though she sound so calm also told me.

Take time to see if you two are really that incompatible. There's no 100% match/compatibility for anyone unless you date yourself, but if there's too much incompatibility where none of you tries to compromise, then that could present a huge problem. However, on the flip side, your ex is likely making up all sorts of excuses because she's losing attraction. Watch this: ruclips.net/video/E9wG_ErBQoI/видео.html but try not to panic since that's what my guide is for, okay? Just follow it down to a tee. Now I know it's difficult (and it's a different challenge all on its own) but try to follow the guide down to a tee, all right? Read it many times over until you master it. Take care!

Hi Brad. I'm Korean. My boyfriend broke up with me 3 days ago. We met in Korea and had been together for almist 2 years. He asked me to marry him so many times but because of my situation I couldn't answer him yes right away and he was waiting for my problem solved..and I needed time to think alone so I asked him to go to USA first and I visited him in 3 month. I visited him late February and stayed with him for a month and came back. Even 1 week before his birthday. I gave him a present there but didn't buy him a cake or card..even didn't sing.. And we fought during the vacation..He kept saying he did his best to make me happy but I wasn't happy and I didn't appreciate it..but in some ways he is right and I regret about it so much.. As soon as I arrived in Korea I talked to him on the phone but he seemed a little bit different..so I asked him what's going on and he complained about my attitude and my situation. And I asked if he wants to break up with me and he said yes..ㅠㅠ I didn't get the situation because when he saw me off in the airport, he cried and said he loves me so much and will miss me a lot...then how can his mind change all of sudden.. Actually he loved me much more than I did. He did his best to make me happy. Now I realize how important he is in my life and how much I love him.. I can't even eat and my tear doesn't stop.. I begged him and showed him how desperate I am without him etc (I've realized this was the worst approach and so sad..) I've never seen him that cold to me.. he even ignored my messages.. what should I do to get him back? I'll fix all of the things he complained about and got hurt at. His birthday is next Monday. Should I send him a message? I'm planning to record a birthday song and say the below.. and send it to him.
(Happy brithday Mark. I'm sorry that I made you go through such a hard time because of my situation. and I hope I made you happy even just sometimes.. and..I respect Your decision to break up with me because I want you to be happy. And I can face my situation and take care of it by myself. 아! And thanks for your advice that I have to be happy without anyone. I've just started a wonderful project to be happy by myself. And also I'm almost done with the project to overcome my fears. You helped me with that a lot. You taught me how to ride bike in the road, survive in deep water and drive too. Thanks a lot. Anyway happy birthday again and have a great day with your friends there.
    Buy!)
And wait for a month and text him..
Please tell me what he is thinking and what I have to do...

soohyun kim Hey there, sorry to hear about the breakup. Whatever happened, the breakup probably happened for a good reason. You probably saw it coming, that's why you took the initiative to ask him. Anyway right now, I think you need to give each other enough space first just so you can think for yourself on what changes within yourself you need to work on and work on it in the long term, okay? Lasting, permanent changes take time. Good luck!

Hey brad. My gf and I dated for 4 years. Broke up in march. Stayed FWB for the last months until now. She started going to college in June 3 hours away. I would go see her for one weekend a month. It was great and we had a great time. As time went on, she started hanging out with people in her dorm area, and I became obsessive and needy as you would say. I would text her a lot. Even when she said "ill text you later" I texted her every hour basically. I see the mistakes I made. I became needy and jealous as she hung out with guys in her dorm area as well as girls. I'm became jealous and didn't want to lose her so I did the obvious, text text text and ask if she had feelings for anyone. I believe that's what pushed her away for good finally. Remember, we were friends with benefits since march. Now in October, we are done. She asked for a month of not talking so she can get over our relationship and she said that it will help us both become friends and realize that we aren't actually dating. I really want her back, it's been only 3 days now. And I'm reading everything and watching every video I can to become a better person. I feel terrible because I know what I did wrong and I can't believe that I didn't realize it when I was doing it. It pushed her away. Do you think I'll be able to get her back? And what do I say when she texts me in a month? Thanks and I love your videos they help me a lot

It’s time to nip the problem in the bud. What were you two fighting or arguing about? It's best to give it time because all this arguing had taken a toll in your relationship. This may help: ruclips.net/video/BBEhaY3gLIw/видео.html Perhaps you've both argued more than you had a good time with each other? If the negatives outweigh the positives in the relationship, that's when an imbalance happens and the relationship will keel over wherein one or both people will likely abandon ship, as the case with your ex. It's time to reset things. Start with the 30-day "no contact" rule to get your ex into a psychological neutral. Here's how it can help you: y2u.be/zw0ChuXCEmw

When i asked her abt this she told that change is constant, it really hurts if this happens, we used to see our future when we will marry & be with each other no matter what, but she is totally changed, i wish i could b there with her,hug her & tell her that everything can b alright but as for the distance we can't, Even i tried a lot to meet her but she is too busy with her career & she doesn't want to meet & it's been 2 days that iam not chatting with her. And then she dumped me.
During the break up she was super nice about it. She was saying I could stay with her as a room mate and that she still would wanna be friends, she didn’t want an ugly break up.
I had no where to go so I flew back home
We are now across the country from one another.

It may be time to put things into perspective because in over a 12 years spent as a relationship coach, I find that a breakup is often NOT just one person's fault, so look at the roles that you've BOTH played that led to the breakup and if the issues have a chance to get resolved, and how to go about it. In most cases, the problems that led to the breakup can be resolved, but in some cases, it can't. So take time to evaluate, okay? However, I have to warn you not to ask the reasons from your ex. This is what I've discussed here along with other stuff that might help you, so this is a must-watch: ruclips.net/video/zqAEi9PbEAA/видео.html Good luck!

The only thing is that when you're in these long distance relationships and never met the person, you don't who else they may be talking to and you only get the "online" version of their personality and then may be dissapointed when you meet them cause the chemistry is not the same as online.

Hey Brad. I was in a relationship for 5 1/2yrs. The entire time was long distance, her in TX and me in NY. We saw each other 5-6 times a year and we were great. The plan was always for me to move there when she was done with school. Since she started working this past October our schedules have been out of wack and we became somewhat distant. We mutually agreed that we lost that connection and "spark". I think because its almost time for me to move there and we are not doing well she got cold feet and wanted to take some time apart. Before watching your videos, I did everything opposite. Pleaded, begged even wrote a letter lol. She said she's not sure if she's making the right choice but right now she needs her space, but she also doesn't want to become strangers. We just broke up last night and I am going to apply NCR starting today. But being LD and only communication is phone, I am almost certain she will text me in the next 2 weeks. I will ignore them except when she comes back with "fine if this is how it's going to be" what should I do? I was thinking just responding with "this is what you wanted, space, and I think its what's best for right now". I know I'm speculating but I'm almost certain this is how it will go. I'm just afraid that because it's LD I might push her to far away and lose her forever. Also, in a final attempt to get her back,(before I saw your videos), I made a photo book of us to remember all the good times. I wont send it now obviously but is this something I can send after the 3-4 week mark as a way of having her relive the good memories? I was thinking with a letter attached saying hope you remember the good times we had rather than the end or along those lines.

    • @BradBrowning
      @BradBrowning  10 лет назад

Dan Rodgers You shouldn't be responding to her when you're in the "no contact" stage, so I hope you hadn't sent that message! :-) Long distance or not, you will push her further away if you keep contacting her, so I hope you had found the strength to cut off contact and really focus on yoursel first. My Ex Factor Guide can help you do that. As for the photobook you're planning to send after the no-contact period, I think that my come off too strongly, I suggest to use text messaging instead... unless, and I repeat, unless your situation's too unique. If you want to know for sure the best way on how to go about this and maximize your chances of getting her back, I suggest you sign up for my coaching program instead at www.breakupbrad.com/coaching This way, I can guide you on a regular basis as well as know more about your situation. Hello Brad.a short story: I had a 1year and 2 months realtionship.. and in the last months I left the country for a carrer in another country. After 2 months she dumped me . Now the problem I had was that I kinda misscared her before my leave.. and even after, never payed her the same attention and never told what I really feel for her and what she represents for me. And she already told me thatshe really cares about me and I was just acting like a child not knowing anymore what I want with her. After one month she was already dating another one guy.. I found out and called her and asked her if there is still any chace between us.. she said no.. And than I told her what I was feeling for her.. what she represented for me.. and she replyd that.. She really apreciates that I can realise what I did wrong.. but I should have told her those things earlyer... not now.. now is to late she said And I also know that she sufferd a while before dumping me because of my misscareness and not opening up. I am 2000km distance and she is home with another guy. What should I do to take her back, I don't want to mess it up this time:( ! Thank you

+Milcu Michael Hey man! Sorry to hear that. The distance may have proved too much for her and has taken the toll in your relationship. I'm not quite sure what you meant by misscareness or you misscared her?? but whatever negativity there has been in your relationship, it's always, always a good thing to give space for a bit (30 days). Leave her be for now, and let her miss you, all right? Hi Brad, I'm 17 and my ex and I split up a few days ago. He lived 83 miles away and we managed quite well, as he drives and I get the train to see him. Everything was going amazingly and then he told me he didn't want a future with me. Then he told me he wanted to break up so he didn't have someone to depend on, and said the time in between when we meet is too difficult despite being happy when we meet up. I think the distance is odd because we should be going to the same university by chance in September, so we would only have some waiting to do. I admit we both made mistakes that lead to the downfall of our relationship and I want to try again and change so we can get the love we had in the beginning again in a new relationship. I'm on day two of no contact, and I just don't know what to do, some guides are telling me after the 30 days no contact to contact him and others are saying wait for him to come to me. Some are saying to contact him telling him I'm going to change and I'm just very conflicted as so many guides are telling me different things. Please help :)

Give him time to miss you so he'll come see you. But don't bet on that because being passive won't help. I suggest you read my Ex Factor Guide since that’s much more detailed and so you'll know how to go about it, what to do after each phase (there are three phases in total), including what to say, do or not do, along with bonus materials for texting, and the psychology of how a man thinks and understanding men in general. Good timing is essential! Check it out at www.breakupbrad.com/fbuy

Hey Brad, We live only 4 hours away. We have been friends for 20 years. At his birthday party almost 2 years ago we clicked and kissed. I thought we might try dating but he was soooo uncertain of things. So we went back and forth for almost a year. Then one night I told him I still had feelings for him and he said he felt the same. We started dating much more serious. Thanksgiving and Christmas I spent with him and His family. Thanksgiving was the first meeting of the family. I thought things were going great. He kept saying he thought he should have more feelings for me. I sorta and still think he was battling with some kind of mild depression. The day after Christmas he said he just unsure of things and that he should have more feelings for me. I asked if he wanted to break it off and kept saying no, he thought it would be pre-mature. So for the next month and half, I went on a roller coaster ride of emotions. Then I texted him and said I miss the way things were between us. He then called me and said that he felt like we were better off as friends. I was upset and crying, he started crying as well. He said I am his perfect girl, but he feels like he should feel more. We had only been dating for 5 months. As he was breaking it off with me, he said "I am not sure if I am making a mistake" and that he had been thinking about this for weeks. I did tell him that I thought that he might be battling depression and that is why he might feel some of things he was feeling. He said I (Lynn) am right about him being depressed or something is wrong, that I would be the first call he makes and if I don't want to take him back I can tell him to go to hell. I was just scratching my head. Because I was thinking "where have I heard this before" then I remembered HIM, like a year ago, except we were not as invested in each other.
I asked him when he wanted me to come get some of my things, and his response was "What's the rush"?
That was three weeks ago. I flew (I work in the travel industry, so I fly for free) into to his town every weekend and treated him better than any women has. I have been doing the no contact rule. ANd not only that but I have deactivated my Facebook account so he couldn't even find me. I have really gone off the radar.
What sense or advice can you give me about this Complicated situation?
    Thanks
    Lynn

Lynn Preston Hello Lynn, sorry to hear that. First off, if he's battling with depression though, try to leave it for him to address. You see, tying to solve your partner's problems might only leave you feeling drained. Focus on yourself instead 100% and use this time to see the roles that you (and your ex) both played that led to the breakup. Is it possible that it's the distance that had taken its toll? Hey Brad,
I don't know if you read these but I'm in a really big predicament. My girlfriend "broke up" with me yesterday. The reason I put it in quotations is because how she worded it. I left her house the night before and everything was fine she hugged me a bunch and kissed me and told me she loves me. I was suppose to hang out with her a bit the next day but she "had" to get her dad at the airport and couldn't hang out then apologized and said she loves me and wants me to text her when I get home to make sure I'm safe. She texted me yesterday saying the following (a couple to note she would barely cuddle with me when she made me watch the fault in our stars, and I got she was very quiet the day before):
Me (the night before when I got home from being with her)- "If falling's how you feel and perfect's what you seem then I'd be what you mean to me

***** Hi there, I only have to read halfway through the conversation between you two to know that this is case of her making excuses. Watch this if you haven't already: ruclips.net/video/ZuHWCWeG1xs/видео.html Women don't dump men (and vice versa) that they're in love with. She's lost emotional attraction for you, and this is further confirmed when you said she acted "weird." Pay attention to those gut feelings, it's there for a reason. :-) Cut off contact and let her reach out to you first. There's really no easy way to go about this, but you have to stay strong. UPDATE: The day before thanksgiving she contacted me and she wanted to facetime, we did and she said she never lost feeling she still loved me she just needed a break, she didn't want anything to change she just needed to focus on herself but she does still love me and wants to see me. HOWEVER these past two days I haven't made any contact with her, I texted her yesterday but she never replied, same with snap chat. I'm really confused because I could hear it in her voice that she meant it and she loved me, she even cried.

I'm in the military, and so is my ex but we got sent to different bases and we are now 14 hours away. I've driven there at least once a month since we've been at these bases. Our relationship had still been very strong and i never felt like we were drifting apart. Last weekend she decided to go out with 2 of her male friends and stayed and one's house, apparently just talking and playing games and drinking a little. She barely said anything to me all weekend and then acted like nothing happened, like it was just normal. She said she had just wanted to get out and do something, and I told her that was fine, but I would just like to hear from her more often to know that she's okay. She called me the next morning after not talking to me again and broke up with me. She said its because i got orders to Korea for a year but i dont think thats the real reason, seeing as how she had been telling me for the past month that "everything is going to be okay, we can make it through this because we love each other" and that she wanted to marry me before i left to korea. I just dont understand her sudden change of heart, it came out of nowhere. The last thing she said to me was "i love you." I really love her and want her back.

Hey Brad, I broke up with my boyfriend about a week ago. We were long distance relationship. I am korean and he is american We met online and had relationship for eight months. During our relationship, I was the one who always said "I wanna break up with you" but we loved so so much, overcame any hardships, he even cried and bleed his nnose when I said that. He begged for me and he was still there for me, but few days before our breakup, he was talking about his female friend Chloe, and told me that he needs to spend some time with her 'cuz shes depressed. And said that she knows me too and want us to have healthier relationship and she was the one who comforted my ex when he was bleeding from breakup. But I was frustrated and told him that I dont want him to spend time w her. Then one day I said, I want to break up with him, but this time, he was different saying he can accept it. I was so surprised nd told him that I was out of my mind and I dont wanna break up with him but he stopped txting me, blocked my on skype, not answering phone calls. I begged him to come back but he never txted me. Then on last saturday, he said he can give one more chance to me becuz he still cares and loves me. I cried, a lot and we were saying " I love you" to each other and we slept together while we were on skype. Then few hrs later, he suddenly said " I am not running away from you, I will be back in december" then he blocked me on everything. I begged, cried a loot but he was not even explaning or saying a single word. Then yesterday I pretended to be another girl, approached him on skype with fake profile. He was responding to the fake one but not to my actual account. I asked (w fake one) if he has gf and he said he has, and they are been together for about a week, and said her name is chloe... I was completely likee what the fk!! He completely lied to me, when we were in relationship he said she lives in another city but now, to my fake account he said he lives with her now for a bit cuz she's sick, go to same school. He seemed happy when I was asking his relationship w her, said she is his first girlfriend. then I think he noticed that it is me and blocked the fake account too...I'm so devastated Brad.. we didnt see eachother in person yet but we were madly in love.. we were planning to meet on december.. Do you think shes a rebound...? Do u see any possibility that I can get him back..? What do u think of this situation..?Brad, I deperately neeed your advice.. pls help me..

My relationship was long distance for almost four year (also on and off because of that and different wounds received from childhood and previous relationships for both of us). I'm very anxious when my wounds are triggered and he is more of an avoidant. Right before covid, I was with him in his country and we made a certain plan finally for me to move in June. But all of it went downhill with the lockdowns. I got more anxious because we didn't have a plan again, he started pulling away because of his own stress and me putting pressure on the relationship. In June, he broke it off and we haven't talked for a month. I am finally healing myself from my wounds very intensely with therapy, different online courses etc. But I really don't want to lose our relationship when everything was already in the reach of our hands. I would really like some advice on how I should approach this.

The country is on lockdown and I can’t just move there, need a visa, we talked about getting married. In order to save it, I need to just move to the other side of the world without even knowing if I have a chance?

Hey man. My ex girl moved 300 miles to Chicago, we left on great terms. She told me we will talk everyday. Visit each other as much as possible. Thing is I have a drinking problem and kept pushing her away. After she moved I drink called her and said mean things I don't remember. She told me she likes her fresh start and needs to remover herself from the toxic relationship, but we can be friends. I was insecure and called to much at first to her never answering my calls. I have a week of no contact now and have been sober. I'm lost on what to do.

Sorry, but chances are your beau has been at least emotionally cheating on you. Discussed that in depth here: y2u.be/7KE6nb4-ndA There's no easy way to say this but the answer is is to move on, especially if your ex doesn't seem to be regretting their actions and asking to get back together. Most of the time, a lot of people would move on, but a few would still fight for the relationship, so this all depends which side you're on and what your views are. But take into consideration about what I’ve mentioned here, too: ruclips.net/video/m27TLeyUmwg/видео.html There is no right or wrong answer here because it is your relationship and it's personal to you. Make sense? Anyway men and women cheat for different reasons, but if you think your ex is worth it and if there's been a genuine connection between you two before the cheating happened, then try to see the roles that you BOTH played that led to all this mess and see once and for all if it can be resolved or not, okay? Really take your time before deciding though and be sure not to make any hasty decisions from an emotional place. Take care!

In my situation, my boyfriend broke up with me a few days ago... He tells me he did it because he didn't like the way he made me feel and he hated how much he had hurt me. I feel like that is an excuse to cover up something larger. He is very controlling, manipulative, and emotionally abusive to me, but I love him. He lives states away and we've been dating for roughly two years now and I'm unsure about what to do. This all began with him not calling or texting me at all (which is very important because that is, unfortunately, our only way to communicate). I asked him what was going on and next thing I know he ends it... I'm thinking about using your technique on ignoring him for some time but I feel like he will just forget about me... He has no problem being without me and would always replace me with others and I'm not sure if that would be the best way to have him back.

Your ex is most likely lying about the reason of the breakup so try not to fall for that. However, the bottom line is your ex has significantly lost attraction. Watch what I’ve explained here and watch the entire length of the video to gain full understanding, as well as know what to do: y2u.be/E9wG_ErBQoI It’s important to rebuild the attraction naturally so your ex will be amenable to working things out, eventually. I met my ex boyfriend on Snapchat. He got my Snapchat from my untie who is working with him. We never met. He is from other country. Our relationship lasted for 8 months and he broke up with me because he is not happy generally. He’s introvert and he used to tell me everything that happened to him every single day. He noticed that I became so worried because he is sick. His Crohn’s disease is getting worse. I have my anxiety too. He told me that we need to break up. We used to talk about our future together. He is my first boyfriend. It’s hard to move on. He also blocked me. It’s been 3 weeks since he blocked me. He was so interested about my whole life. He asked everything about me and listened to everything and he could remember them all. So I thought I was so important but he broke up with me and blocked me. He broke up with me last April but we still communicate but he blocked me 3 weeks ago because I was so worried about his health and I kept on chatting him. Maybe he gave up on me.

i go through a breakup now with my bf in peru.. he wants to be with me but his situation is very precaire with financial issues and health issues as well. we were in relationship for 3 years 1/2 and we saw couple time here and there but very short like about 2-3weeks max each times. He is desperates and said i need to set you free because im unable to be with you and i cannot let you wait again any longer it breaks me seeing you crying and in pain because i cannot see and you have all the time and as much as you can come here. We went through so much by the distance of ups and downs that i cannot imagine how it could be if we were together living... i say that in a very positive and powerful way. he was my other part. But we cannot go over contacting each others. we dont want to end but see no solutions to be together. im just going to accept it like he wants even if he cried like i never saw him before it broke my heart so bad. i wish i would have a solution for all that and just us be together 💔💔💔

Let him choose. In the meantime, make sure you remove yourself out of the situation otherwise you risk being stuck and you'd always be the option. Wait for a better time before interacting with your ex, however, don't wait around doing nothing. Take a leap of faith on a new path as well because you never know where life can take you, which may be better without your ex. Use this time to heal and prioritize yourself. What if he gets mad at me because of the No Contact?? He sent me messages ''You're being unfair.. Forget about me, I don't accept that. I did not do the same to you!!''. We were in 1 year 3 months relationship together and we mutually decided to break up because he got an offer in Latin America away from me. I explained to him that he can contact me only when he is ready to commitment again, and we better not contact if he still treats me like a girlfriend but committing in a relationship. I hope I'm not pushing him away by No contact and making him mad. Geez. I love your videos Brad really helpful.

    • @BradBrowning
      @BradBrowning  7 лет назад

Answer me this: would you rather your ex be mad at you... or would you rather be a martyr and end up having your ex losing even more attraction for you? Your choice. :-) See, the thing with exes, especially the one whose idea is to break the relationship, is they also struggle with the breakup and finding all means to cope...including talking to someone they're used to talking to, a.k.a you. What that leaves you, however, is unknowingly becoming their emotional sponge. So if you want this ex back, you ought to let him/her feel what it's like not to have you in his/her life first, so employ the 30-day "no contact" rule, okay? An exception is if your ex is trying to contact you about something really important. You risk too much by staying in touch and you best not respond unless it’s about something important. Watch this, too: ruclips.net/video/bSs5qL85cSc/видео.html

    Hello Brad,
I dont know if you check comments still but just want to give it a shot.
So I work in the aviation industry (if you need cheaper flights let me know 😉) so I met this girl on one of my layovers in India in May. I fell so hard for her even tho we've only seen each a hand full of times in real life.
Things were amazing we texted everyday we were happy. Until her father was diagnosed with cancer... Since then things has changed upsidedown... we talked less... and all.
In September I wasn't able to see her and she dropped the bomb on me. saying we should split because we probably wont see eachother again (she moved back to her hometown) and she says she has mental issues like bipolar, mood swings, and depression which she doesnt want me to deal with. The classic its not you its me cliche... since then we talked a bit and her response are super cold so i stopped replying her and now radio silence. she then disappeared by disabling her social media accounts and deleting her whatsapp so basically gone off grid a bit.
Right now my plan is to wait for her to come back and take a slow approach she is introverted and I miss her i want her back badly.... *Sigh*

Hi Brad, I'm Katy. My ex bf and I broke up in Oct and We were together in LDR for 7 months. I did NC for about a month. He texted me only once that's 5 days after he left me and asked how I was doing. On the 23rd day NC I txted him. asked him if he was free to chill out for a movie coz I got tickets expiring soon. he seemed excited and asked if I was in town, when etc. he thought I was asking him out but I told him sorry im just giving tix out and he can bring a mate along. He said he has asked this friend who wants to hang out with him for a while. he showed me her fb photo during our breakup. but its far from a date coz theyve decided to be bestest of friends. with a haha... he said he was actually wondering when he's gonna hear from me, told me I was one of his top 3 friends and I big part of his life and he asked me out for a coffee to catch up if I want to when he goes to my city in 2 weeks time to play his sport. I didn't say yes or no so he said he's going to let me know when here and he's given me the dates. I txted him the day after he said he'd arrive here coz I didn't hear from him. NC has finished now. Asked how his golf was and we tried to organise a meetup but Alas! our scheds didn't fit! I told him im thinking to go watch him play as an alternative (if you really want to yeah was his reply)..sent him a message later that I coudn't go coz it might come across as me desperate to see him. so we didn't see each other. Whenever I txt him he replies right away. our conversations are light and fun none about the breakup and lasts up to an hour or 2 maybe..with proper goodbyes (I try to cut off first if I can) but I was wondering why he wouldn't initiate contact first? Should I wait for him to txt me next time? He always says.. "might talk to you later" or "talk to you again soon". For a long distance relationship im not sure if I should jump on every chance to see him or maybe ask him to drop by if he happens to drive up along a place near. thanks

theundertow Hi there, let him reach out first this time. I say reach out once or twice max (in separate days), he has to initiate some, if not most of the contact, especially if he initiated the breakup. You have to gauge his level of interest as well and not make excuses to contact him. After all, if he does want to see you, he will, come hell or high water. :-) Make sure you don't fall into the friend zone though. It's also not healthy for you to get updated on his dating life, it's counterproductive regardless of whether it's serious or not. Take care!

Brad Browning Hi Brad! I did txt my ex bf to support him on his major tournament this week. He then decided to stop by and see me for an hour but he actually stayed for 3 hours and would've stayed overnight if he doesn't have work tom. I asked him to come and pick me up at home. I lost 8kg in the last week and prepared for the meeting. He said I was beautiful and he felt a little awkward but I was just being me. Confident, funny and a little bit flirty didn't feel awkward but Was careful with what I say. The first thing he asked was how was i doing, and if i have found a man..I just said well there's some who likes me but I don't like them. I allowed him to pay for food even if I know he doesn't have much. a porch next to the lake. When he came to me I was like," Hi I'm Kate, nice to meet you. What's your name?" Then he just couldn't stop taking deep breaths and later embraced me and told me he really wanted to kiss me. And we did..he was so turned on at that moment if you know what I mean. He took me home and something happened not technically coz im a virgin and he wants me to keep it as it is. He said he still loves me and thinks about me all the time. He never dated and he still wants "this" relationship when he gets himself sorted out. Apparently he had a lot of thoughts getting back but just couldn't at this stage. I also confessed that I still love him too but I completely understand his reasons. He didn't want me to wait though and I told him I hope when he's ready I am still free. I am kinda conservative and loyal person so I'm not sure if I could date but Im definitely gonna focus on myself. Although I'm not sure whether I should wait for him and continue the things to keep him attracted or just move on? Thanks.

With the no - contact rule, do I text them back when they contact me?

Unless your situation falls under one or more of the scenarios here: ruclips.net/video/ek_4wpkV66c/видео.html AND ruclips.net/video/W7iC-gHmZ2A/видео.html it's best you ignore contact from your ex. If your ex continues to reach out to you, however, then this really depends on the frequency and nature of the contact from your ex and whether or not you've reached the phase where you're supposed to be talking again. The only exception is if your ex asks for you back and is sincere about it. If your ex continually messages you, then it’s important to put your ex’s messages into context, more so if this happened during the “no contact” phase. Is your ex trying to contact you about something really important, like an emergency, unpaid bills, or something equally urgent? These are reasons to respond, including messages where they get angry due to your lack of response. Discussed that in full detail here: ruclips.net/video/GTjEAGJWTuA/видео.html So if your ex is really just texting some useless random stuff and/or asses her power over you, then you can just ignore and continue on with the 30-day "no contact" rule. Use your discretion. Watch and follow the tips here: ruclips.net/video/bgOG9s1fac8/видео.html

My girlfriend of two years who lives in Indiana and we've made soon to be plans to move in together and live our lives together and work and go to college together, is now talking to someone in her town because she feels by "gods choice" she needs to ensure he never uses heroine again (as he's only done it once and OD'd and almost died) and by past accusations towards me that I've been "unfaithful" which I've always been faithful to her for the entire two years (I've even spent sooo much of my hard earned money On her anytime she wanted/needed anything) but she makes fake assumptions that she fully stands by and told me she cannot trust me for things that have never happened that she fully believes happened. And when I told her to stop her excuse was "well you used to talk to girls soo" . Which I never did. (I had female friends in highschool I talked to in school and she didn't like that) And last night she told me she doesn't feel anything for me anymore and doesn't want our dreams anymore and can't be with me because I cause her too much pain and I don't deserve her because she's hurting me and "I'll find someone better" and I was bawling my eyes out I'm soo much and pain! It was the most pain I've ever felt emotionally! And I've NEVER felt that way towards ANYONE ever in my life! And I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT! I couldn't believe it, I NEVER thought she would do anything like that to hurt me and she hung up furious in ignorance towards not believing my words against what she thought was true. And left me in that pain to wollow in, by myself, alone in my room knowing fully well I have no one else to go to. (Because I would usually vent to her) and the worst part is not knowing what's going to happen to her or who she will be with soon! And she's a virgin and is so pure (which made me fall in love with her even more knowing how pure of a person she is) and I'm terrified at the thought of her losing it to someone else!! And I know that's selfish of me and I shouldn't care but I'm soo miserable without her in my life now after two years of seeing her on Video chat and talking to her EVERYDAY. She was part of my daily routine and part of myself. And things havnt been good the past month but last night she finally broke me down..

What did you man by "things that never happened that she believes happened"? Are you saying she's insecure/jealous or throwing accusations? There's nothing wrong with talking to other girls. Since this is a long distance relationship, how often did you two get to spend time together, in person? That may have played a role. Hey Brad, I had been dating with my ex for more than 5.3 months...We broke up since he decided to focus on his career, aged 28. Also, we flight for long distance and lost of connection for 2 years. Before i decided to breke up with him, I asked him to try and flight for our bright future. Unluckily, he denied... I kept contacting him for a month, but it seems worst..I tried 1 week no contact rule, and decided to fly and asked him for a chance... we ended that we have sex, even that he said that he wanted it without love..When i was with him for 2 days, he showed that he really wanna be alone and i was like a dust.. Now, i'm back and back to my real life.. i still cant control my emotion and keep thinking if he starts dating with someone..and how to win him back.. and how to move on without him.... thank you for your advice in advanced!

Wendy Thann Hi Wendy, you never see someone and fly to wherever they are after you broke up with them. That will only confuse him more and being confused is not a very good thing. :-) What should have been done is fly to wherever he's at and talk about your problems in person --before breaking up with him. Keep these lessons with you so you won't repeat the same pattern. Anyway, don't panic, that's the worst thing you can do, but your reaction is understandable. Try to reach a better frame of mind and the easiest way to do this is to cut off contact and let him miss you as well. Right now you are operating out of fear and you need to stop doing that. Keep cool and shift the focus from him to you. Read some books, lean to your friends for support, anything to help yourself first. Watch the free in-depth video presentation and find out how cutting off contact (even for at least a month) will help you: www.BreakupBrad.com

Hi Brad. So this was when I was 15 years old and the guy I dated is the same age as me. We both lived in the same state Arizona, till a month later I moved to California. So we continued to still keep dating for about 4months later (June-October), he couldn't do it anymore. He missed me so much, that it hurts him to keep going. We both loved each other. Yeah we were young and all and that “puppy love”, but So he broke up with me because of long distance. We both dated other people within the years but NOW, to this present day…..5 YEARS later we saw each other again. Only because I moved back to Arizona. Only way we see each other is mutual friends, family/friends party. So really we only see each other 2-3 times a year. But on New Year’s 2015, I spent it at his house with our mutual friends because there was a party, but that night of the party I felt that he kept staring at me or he just didn’t act right that I knew of. I would test him too, like move seats or just walking around and see where his eye wonders or stares at. And I see it’s still me he looks at. When there’s other pretty girls that are pretty in the same room. I’m just so curious why he stares at me? Or what on earth goes on his mind honestly. I would ask but then I don’t want to too, because I feel like it’s weird to even ask. I still do have feelings for him till this day, but I don’t know how to get him back when he goes to NAU which is in a different city and that is 2 hours away from me, his friends, and family. He only visits on occasions, school breaks, or when he can. I don’t know how to get him back, but I really do love him till this day. But then again we broke up because of distance. Oh by the way me and him didn't have a bad break up and still are friends. We just don't text or call each other. But talk in person. Please help me of what you think goes on his mind when he stares at me a lot AND how should I get him back? Thank You.

Ivy Silvestre Hello Ivy, at this point, to be honest, it's hard to gauge your situation since neither one of you has the courage to talk to one another the only way to find out is to stop the staring game and go talk to him. :-) Don't expect too much, because he may still not want a long distance relationship, but if you try to keep things subtle (don't come on too strong) and keep things fun and light when interacting with him, you'll have a better idea on where he's at emotionally (don't ask him though). Never talk about feelings or what went wrong in the past, just act cool and keep your own life busy. I wouldn't read too much into his staring, if I were you. Hey Brad,
It had been almost 10 months that we were together, we live far away from each other, last time I've seen her I hurt her and I was not in my normal mood, got angry about random stuff...
We had a dispute few days after I left, and I said that she shouldn't be with a man like me, then she said that we have to break up then we spent the following two weeks on "getting back to each other - saying that we broke up", but she emphasized on reminding me that we broke up, eventhough we kept on talking the 3rd week, then I decided suddenly to make a no contact even during a conversation (decided not to respond and start my NC), she wished me good night and following day she called but I still didn't answer. Today she blocked me on skype, where we usually talk (it happened before that we blocked each other when we were quarelling).
I still believe I should continue my NC until I feel the need to stop. What do you think about it ?
    Thanks a lot

Nick Pete It could just be the distance, man. Were you able to spend time in person during this 10-month period or not? A long distance relationship is quite a special case and it varies depending on a lot of factors. Whatever the case, try not to stir any drama. Allow time for healing to take place instead and cool your heads for a while -- which is never bad. All right? So stay strong and focus on doing the right things. Brad, I had this long distance relationship with this girl from England & we broke up this week on Thursday. We dated for like 5 months & the reason we broke up was because of the distance, she couldn't handle the distance between us so she had to tell me the truth about it. We're still friends & I can still talk to her but I know it won't feel the same, still got her on Twitter, Facebook, & Skype. So after Thursday, we haven't talked for like 3 days now. I know the no contact thing is going to kill me, I been thinking & praying to God for a 2nd chance with this girl. I know there's always a 2nd chance in life and I believe it's possible that we can be together again but I don't know how or when. I don't want nobody else but her. I need your help! What should I do? Like, should I wait after a week or a month to text her again? I feel so miserable & angry, and looked like hell too. I need your help Brad.

Hi Brad. We are years apart and oceans apart.! My ex broke up with me, got married (for whatever reasons ), and have two kids! Recently it appeared that he was separated. So I sent him a message to ask if he wanted to be back. He didn't respond DIRECTLY, but implied on his Facebook status that he has 'lost' the other woman and now ready to do it all over again. A few months later, lo and behold! ( I remind you that he's not from around here)I saw him passing by my house, covering his face! for fear my mom would recognize him! And now , again it seems that he has just got a divorce. Please answer this for me. Why hasn't he responded DIRECTY to me? Is still there any hope for me? Thanks!

Hey Mr. Browning! Thank you for replying to my previous comment quickly. I appreciate the advice for me to start the "no contact" phase after my "clean slate" text but I guess that I was confused as to whether respond to her after it was sent. I remember from your book that if she contacts me that I "should" reply but just keep it short and act busy. She's still randomly telling me how she feels bad about the breakup but I'm still starting no contact now. I just want to be sure that I'm not pushing her further away since I'm already + 7000 miles away ya know?

But the problem he faced that . Her Mother dont want her to be in relationship because she is just 15. So the thing is she never ignore her parents. They are everything for her. I'm at a lost here. I recently wrote in asking if I should send my ex a " Happy Birthday! " after telling him that I was giving him his space and he thanked me for being so understanding and I did and it went over well and we had a talk about him " ghosting " on me and we both said that we were at black period in our life and would be there for each for each other. He's mourning his son still who he lost in a freak accident a few years ago and he doesn't want to talk to anyone because he doesn't want to seem like he's complaining like I don't want to seem like a Drama Queen. He also wished me a " Happy Birthday! " and sent a song that I gushed over and I didn't hear anything back. The next day I told him about my birthday and several hours later I ( almost 11) I finally texted him what was going on with me since he said that when the time was right that I could talk to him anytime. The problem being is my doctor thinks that I've got both breast and stomach cancer and wants to run tests. I told him that I was giving him his space and asking for mine and that I scared, but I wished that I he was there to tell me that everything was alright. He didn't respond and I admit to calling him and leaving him a crying message saying the same thing. I'm not doing this for attention because I'm scared out of my mind! I don't understand why he didn't get back to me when I needed him the most. My friend said to wait about a month or so go through the tests and see what is up after that. That he probably didn't respond because he's either a jerk, scared because he was starting to get serious about me and I told him that so he retreated, just plain ran, thought I was lying or looking for attention which I'm not. I just need to know what to do because I miss him and I don't know why he wasn't there for me when he said that I could talk to him when the time was right about what was wrong. The whole time we were supposed to giving space we talked off and on and even joked now he's not here for me. I need this confusion cleared and should I think about getting back with him?

+Mary Ryan Hello Mary, I hope for your speedy recovery. Regarding the breakup, in order to get the confusion cleared, you really ought to give him space for at least a month, all right? Talking on and off will only reset the "no contact" period and I recommend to go at least a full month without contact. Just take this one step at a time so you don't overwhelm yourself. Okay? Also

I'm holding firm on the No Contact Rule Brad and even though I can think of a gazillion reasons to contact him I don't. I may go longer than a month though because I saw where I made some mistakes, but I'm not condoning his actions. I'm working on myself no and enlisted in girlfriend of mine to keep me on track because she's been through what I'm going through. He's a great guy,but I understand that he needs time to work out some issues as do I. Thank you for wishing me a speedy recovery. I start my test next week. It just hurts that's he's not here when I need him, but I know that I'll make through just fine on my own with this situation that I'm facing.

    Hi Brad,
My girlfriend of 3.5 years broke up with me back in March because of not being able to see me very much (we lived in the same city as each other for 2 of those years and the remainder we live about 1 hour 40 from each other) and because she felt that we were becoming more distant due to us being in a long distance relationship and not spending so much time together in person. I probably broke every rule in terms of dealing with a breakup e.g. desperate texts, hateful texts and for the past 5-6 months have been trying to convince her to get back with me again and that things will be better but i have mostly driven her away as expected from all these actions.I didn't give her space when she asked for it because of my emotional state and it probably pissed her off quite a bit. She stuck around through all those months because she wanted me to be happy and was worried i wouldn't be so kept texting back and discussing things. Only after this time have i done my research and realised what a hole i had dug. After these 6 months we both agreed to not talk for a month and see how we felt afterwards. Her position was unchanged after and said i was an amazing friend but anything more and it would seem too weird and the period didn't trigger many feelings probably because she had the impression that i was the same person before the month and that things were just going to drag out further.
When i spoke to her after the month ended i recorded a video of myself where i basically retrospectively explained how i was sorry for how i acted the past few months and that over this month of no contact i have cleared my head, being more social, become a new person and am looking forward to a bright future! And she believed me and we are just talking again after that. We have exchanged several texts and i have been talking jokily with her (like we did when we were together) and have made sure to not talk about any problems in the relationship or the past when texting other than in my video where i apologised for my actions and have said i am good to move on if i need to.
She probably lives about 1 hour 40 mins away from me and i just want to know what i should be doing looking forward now to make sure i keep progressing with trying to get her back. With the whole non contact period I'm not sure if it was a waste of time because she was aware we were doing it and agreed to it before but also we don't have any mutual friends and have unfriended each other on Facebook which makes things a little more difficult to be subtly trying to get her back through social media. We had each other on snapchat though she didn't really view my stories which made that quite pointless too.
Should i apply the non contact period again, properly this time? or is there anything else you recommend that i should do now that we are talking friendly again? As above i don't want to risk being 'friend zoned' permanently but understand i need to give some time to heal the situation and now that she can see I'm a changed person and doing more things then maybe she will eventually give it a shot.
Also now that we are talking how much should i message her as i don't want to overkill it even if she constantly replies. You're the expert - please let me know
Thanks in advance! your videos are great.

Hi there, I appreciate the time you took to write all this, and I would really love to help, but as what I've been telling anyone who posts super long comments, please try to keep your post short. I only have limited time to give free advice since obviously my coaching clients take first priority, and I'm trying to cover as many comments as possible. Feel free to sign up for my coaching program so I can prioritise your situation at www.breakupbrad.com/coaching Thanks for your understanding!

I also broke her trust by flirting with another girl 10 months ago as our relationship started, she found the messages, then I found that she flirted with some guy from Germany about 2 weeks after she found that, so getting back at me so to speak, it really hurt me but we were trying to move past and get on with it, but 4 weeks after that she ended it, it's been 16 days of no contact so far I'll text her on the 5th nov, she texted my friends girlfriend saying she was emotionally unstable or something and she doesn't think she can deal with our relationship again, I just don't want to screw up next week thanks man

Jay Elliot Make sure that you do the full "no contact" and not rush things. You, especially her, both need to get over the negativity -- but not necessarily the relationship. I'm willing to bet she may still be confused and not ready to talk, pushing her to speak to you would only damage the outcome, so be patient (follow the 30-day no contact rule). Ideally you should let her reach out to you first since she needs her space and needs to figure stuff out -- probably trying to see if she can really forgive you or trust you again, and this takes time. So cut off contact fully first and don't let this breakup consume you (another mistake). Before you communicate with her, be sure that you are levelheaded and not desperate as this will not help your cause. Have you watched this video? I was in long distance realtionship for two and half years and my boyfriend and I planned to get married by the end of this year. Out of no where he accused me of cheating on him " which was not true". I gave him all the proof that I am not, after two months he broke up with me because he can't trust me, that was 5 days ago. I tried to change his mind, but eventually I told him ok and I wished for him happy life. NOTE: in my boyfriend previous marriage his ex wife cheated on him. So, I started the NC period with him, yesterday he texted me and said " Good choice, I will always wish you be happy". I didn't say anything, but his message made me confused. It was not my choice to breakup with him. I really need to know what is inside his mind and why he sent this message?

Sorry to hear. The distance will always be a major culprit. Is this long distance scenario temporary? Because if it isn't, then I'm afraid it's good as over. Watch/review and apply the pointers here first: ruclips.net/video/GQY4N04uvtA/видео.html

We dated for over a year (it was great) and got engaged just before she moved abroad (Sep 2016) for studies. The plan was for me to migrate after a while so we could start our life together. We have met only twice since. In late jan 2019 she broke up just as I put down my papers so i could move to be with her.
She said the distance killed it for her and that she doesn't feel the same about me...sees me more as a close friend. Few days later she tells me the reason she's was distant was because she met someone and had been out a few times in dec 2018 (the same month she asked me for the nth time to come be with her).
I am proceeding with my plan to migrate to the same country and will be there this month.
she has blocked me on IG, whatsapp and FB messenger but not on FB since the breakup. The strange par is i'm still listed as engaged to her on FB. I sent her 3 emails since the breakup (within the first 10 days) but have been in no contact since.
How should I proceed after I migrate? Do I call her and ask to meet(hoping it may trigger some emotional rush)? or do i continue with no contact?

Meeting twice before deciding to get married is a bad move, man. I suggest to take time to get to know each other better first, than spend tons of money in divorce once you both find out you couldn't make it work or that you're incompatible. Anyway yes, the distance has clearly taken its toll here and your ex could be rebounding and the other person is providing the physical companionship which you couldn't offer at the moment. Connecting as in trying to date her? Since you're asking me, I'd say move on because that woman is just not into you. However, Amy North or Kate Spring may have some other tips on what to do about that, so check out their channel, too!

@Brad Browning we spent 2 months tgt before she left to Australia and I recently visited her about 1.5 months ago for 2 weeks and we really enjoyed each others company and she even said it's the best 2 weeks of her life...I also recently bought your E-book and found it really helpful..currently doing the 31 day NC and she has contacted me a couple of times asking for help and other small talk

Hey man, that's great! I’m glad you now have the tool to guide you on what to do. Now I know it's difficult (and it's a different challenge all on its own) but try to follow the guide down to a tee, all right? Read it many times over until you master it.
