    Always on the go. Lots to do and it's fun being part of the transition. I'm so glad you know what you are doing with the solar panels and the wiring. Did you say the battery was a truck battery? That was my dad's motto, if a job is worthwhile doing, it's worthwhile doing well..

    • @FincaLife
      @FincaLife  3 месяца назад

      It's an LFP battery, same size as a truck battery but a fraction of the weight with more power

    Tilly is a beautiful girl. Growing well as she should. The panels will be up before you know it. Can’t wait to see the finished utility closet/ bar room. Always busy at the Finca.

    Well done Sharon regarding your arm, seems you have healed very fast. I broke my ankle end of January and I’m just now able to walk few steps with an air boot. Never broke a bone in my life before, don’t recommend it. Lol

    Just wondered Andy if you had thought of using the ‘off cut’ as the actual leg for the shelf post in the bar area ? Great video as always you guys. 👍🏽😎

      Thanks Gavin. We have plans for the cut off - we think it's going to end up as a visible lintel when we do the front windows of the main house

    Well, your A/C is running good 45 deg F,
    On target.
    Glad to see your wife's
    Arm is healing well.
    Question your corrugated roof over the bar. Is it plastic?
    It looks like old asbestos building corrugated roof and side panels?
    Anyway, it's looking good😊.

    • @kmw4359
      @kmw4359 3 месяца назад

      Don’t think it’s plastic. The panels appear very heavy. The episode when he installed it, Chris from Tales from the Caveside came by and helped lift the panels.

    • @FincaLife
      @FincaLife  3 месяца назад +3

      It's cement fibre board and yes, it does look like the old asbestos sheets but is very strong and near impossible to break

    Great job on the Panels, but does the angle toward house mean rain will roll off to house wall?

    • @FincaLife
      @FincaLife  3 месяца назад

      No, they will stop well short of the wall and the original drain channel will take the water to the deposit. We'll try and explain more on a future video

    Hi,
    I am enjoying watching your videos. I'm thinking about buying a place in Spain. The wall work caused me great concerns. From watching your videos I think I can do it. Why don't you have a donation feature? You've provided me great information. You gave me the knowledge to move forward with my project. Do you have a venmo that I can contribute to?
