Stonework, earth rods, resin fixings and preparing the 150 year old hen house for solar!

Some challenges today, driving the earth rod for the new solar install being the biggest which was easily done with a jack hammer! We get more of the stone walls completed and more preparation for the upcoming solar installation.

Thank you. I can't even remember what it cost lol. I have a couple - they were first used around 30 years ago to drill through 3 foot thick stone walls in an old house I had in France!

It's going to run a couple of refrigerators in and power the water pump and UV steriliser and probaly some other steady loads to ease the main system burden in the winter, so we can run more heaters :) It's coming up soon!

Thanks. The idea for the channel was to teach a little - whilst continually learning ourselves. So many skills are disappearing these days - if we can share some, teach a little and maybe inspire a few people, it can only be a good thing.
