Fruit on pizza is good! There's this local place that does a BBQ pizza with chicken, caramelized onions, and green apples. It's freaking delicious.

I love fennel tops on my mashed potatoes, it's a nice veg to add to a sandwich!
(The green portion of the fennel is in fact the leaves! The flowers are bright yellow and tiny 💚)

Also, chicken, pineapple, banana, peanuts and curry powder is a perennial favourite. 🙂
Or a completely fruity pizza: Pear, apple, kiwi, grapes and peanuts (need something salty). With that, you have to go bianco, though.

I think with Fennel the green parts that grow above ground are called fronds, greens or leaves.

If you like fruit on pizza, you gotta try pepperoni and mango. It slaps! I eat mine with a little bit of sharp cheddar added to the mozzarella.
It's an odd combination but I'm glad it was a fine surprise
I thought for sure the sandwich was gonna go wrong after the mozzarella and pepperoni combo, I didn't think there was any chance you'd be allowed to keep such a perfect pairing.
