- Today is the day! Alison gets to drive. She really did great, I can't tell if its because she's just a great driver or if I'm that good of a trainer!? We had a great time driving around Seattle.

You are a great teacher and your student is "gutsy" being on camera her first day!
Haha I asked her and followed it up with if you super mess up I won’t post it. She didn’t mess up. So it worked out!
@@DauminiqueTheDumpTruckDriver dauminique is a famous RUclipsr the girl had no choice but to be on camera. It's part of her training. You mess up and the whole world will see but no pressure.
Good job ladies... And yes it's tough sitting in that passenger seat sometimes, looks like she's doing a great job.. Down here in Vegas we call them super 18s... And yes it's a definitely a different feel having all that weight right there on your back rocking and rolling... And I blew a steer tire pulling end dump with a 1986 Peterbilt on the freeway. It went boom and I had enough time to grip the wheel tighter and think 'steer tire or drive tire' and then it starts to shimmy and it pulled me over about 1 ft in the next lane Then I thought okay I got this I'm slowing down I'm moving over to park on the side of the road and about then my hood flew up from the tire bamming it.. So now I'm trying to get over and driving looking in my mirror looking at the white lines.. as I slowed down the hood came back down, I got out and shook for a few minutes but I'll never forget it..
I was watching her checking both mirrors while driving. Very good habit to get into
Your teaching skills. Are great. 👍
Hah thanks
You are a amazing teacher, and she's learning so quick. Just awesome to see.
Alison seems to have operation of the truck well in hand. Now she will soak up the "local knowledge"! I like the way Alison works the turns with the two hand shuffle, I think it allows better control in all situations. Keep on truckin!
Good job ladies!!👍
Doing good. Just looked different with you in the passenger seat. Take care and have a blessed weekend and see you on your next video.
Amazing teacher and awesome new driver doing a great job
Good to see you making more videos and training a new driver🚧🚜
Another great video and good to see you enjoying the teaching role to.
Your mannerism is so relaxing, would be great to learn from you. You are a great person!
You guys Having new equipment, Makes the learning curve easier.
She getting the hang of it she's got a great teacher that is you young lady 💐
She did a pretty good job. You are a great teacher.
Great job ladies.
Great team work you two!
Another good video. Love seeing women drive truck. And shows others that it’s not just for men.
great job teach!
Great trainer , great student !!!!
I remember when I first started pulling logs. I rode with a guy for a week then they turned me loose. I was scared to death the first day. Not because of the work I just didn't want to screw up. Second load I misunderstood the loader man and took off to the wrong mill. Another company driver saw me a few miles from the woods and told me on the radio that load went to another mill. I turned around and never let on. Later I thanked him. He just laughed and called me a stupid kid. He said you will get the hang of it. He was a good guy. As with any job it takes time to learn the ropes...
Great job Lady’s!!!!!!)))👍🏼👍🏼😊😊
Great video 📹👍
Thankd
That new driver has the best teacher I believe
What a great instructor you are. She will be a top hand with your training
Good positive feedback to your learner. Loved Texas Wayne.

COOL VIDEO DAUMINUQUE!!!!
Good job.
Nicely done you seem like a patient trainer. The shades made me think of the Blues Brothers. Keep safe
Need more trainers like you! Great job…
Awesome! Thank you!
To cute to be a passenger !! Your a great trainer lots of patience!!
Glad you have gas/fuel in the northeast this shortage in the southeast really sucks. Great video, Alison checking her mirrors as much as she does is the sign of a good operator.
We are in the the North West, but we are very lucky to have so many refineries.
Love the humor on the radio when talking to Wayne! If it’s where I think it is, that hill to Northgate Way from Lake City Way is pretty steep if I remember right.
Good job ,
She didn't look nervous while she was driving. Good poker face. :)
She is lucky to have you as her teacher 👍
Excellent job ladys soon there will be another good tipper driver on the roads.
Both of you with the sunglasses like 😎🤘 goodjob both of you ! 🤩
U 2 WORK WELL TOGETHER DAUMINUQUE!!!
Hi Dauminique .. I'll be honest , being in the trainer mode is stressful , but you look like you're handling it pretty good .. I'm like you , I always stress safety first thing .. She looks like she did pretty good , that was a tight spot to get into and dump .. Thanks for sharing , have a great week ..
Seems like a very nice truck to be able to learn on
Absolutely fantastic to see two girls in what was formerly known as a "mans world". Barriers are there to be broken. And you girls showed in this video it's indeed achievable by girls. A 110% thumbs up for you two girls. Keep on posting these videos and make women and the rest of us men proud on you. Hugs Hugs 👏🏽👏🏽👌👌👍🏾
God bless you for being a great trainer it’s not in my blood I’m willing to tell anyone what I have learned over the years but I’m not comfortable being in the passenger seat 👍
You are very good teacher🤗 hello from finland🇫🇮
You're a great teacher and Alison is doing good for her first load and will get better. Have you thought about asking your boss about useing the truck she will be driving for the week or so. So she can get used to the little differences and quirks from your truck.
I’m teaching her how to drive her truck now 😉
She's been taught by the best, hope she appreciates your wisdom.
I'm going to leave Brazil to learn to drive with you 🇺🇲❤️🇧🇷
Awesome women in trucking!
What a beautiful smile 🇺🇲❤️🇧🇷
Your a brave woman, I never had the nerve to take new drivers out
7:30 watch Flint Creeks video on RUclips about the drive camera footage of a crash. Steer tire blew out. Was a nasty crash !
I have personally experienced a super single steer tire blow out at 50 mph. The steering wheel violently shimmied back and forth. You’re more or less along for the ride. I bear hugged the wheel, & got stopped at the edge of the road, just before the ditch. Any faster, & it would have went into the ditch & turned over.
Like a boss. 😎😎
The Boss😎
You two look good togather
You two reminds me of the Blues Brothers with those shades on. Which one it you is Elwood and who's Jake??
You guys (girls) remind me of the movie ghost busters. Same sun shades, same shirts, looking straight ahead like you are on a mission. Best Wishes
it be amazing to have you as an instructor ! Wish you were in NJ hahaha!!!
It is really crazy to see u in the passenger seat
Nobody is born knowing any of this stuff, it's great to hear you pass on what you have learned and obviously, you are a professional. 👍
Very true!
I remember you from Team Nelson.
Thx for the videos cutie pie 🥰
Hello good job
Always so much fun to train new people ..so far i have trained over 70 people ...check your mirrors and slow down on ur turns get off the fuel line .lol
You too look like twin sisters. So beautiful and talented. Keep up the great work.
"When you sleep on it, your memory puts it away"
Smart girl. That's called memory transference where short term memory transfers to long term and can be easily obtained when needed.
That's a psychology 101 course level tid-bit of info taught when learning how memory works
Yeah she is.
Now that you are in maternity leave ...You should be a part time Trainier.....You are unbelievable in your Calmness......A person like you make learning so fast and easy .You have a God Gift domoquie
I forgot finished my maternity leave in December. I’m back working full time.
Lol that alarm is nails on the chalkboard.
Like your videos
Thank you!
You're welcome
Hi Niqi question the owner has now had the new super solo 18 for nearly 5 month's now, was wondering what he thinks about it, it's performance, if you'll be back at dealership picking up another 1, thinning out the other remaining manuals or expanding as long as construction demands rise, keeps ya'll busier. An I think there's gonna be more applicants wanting to work at PELLCO. Seems to be a top notch 5 star company with a lot of respect for his employees. An you jus might be sitting side seat for awhile. Keep doing what you're doing, don't change a thing 😎👍.
Saying that when a steer tire blows and the truck ros over is absolutely insane! I have had a few steer tires blow out while loaded 102,500 and no roll over at all. That's just dis information!
At 11:45 I think I know exactly where this is, since I was born and raised in Seattle! Lake City Way, about to get on I-5. Always love going back to visit. I’m on the east coast now, but love visiting and seeing my old neighborhood when I go back to visit
It’s not what it was, that’s for sure.
Yeah. Last time I was there was about 4 years ago. I remember it took me almost an hour to go from Northgate to Kenmore (area where I used to live). This was during rush hour though to be fair. Lake City Way and Bothell Way was a slow crawl all the way.
I still love this state but it's getting so crowded now, can't hardly get anything done as a local trucker
You actually weren’t far from where I grew up and went to school. I caught the address of the facility as you were pulling out. I went to school down the street at Arrowhead Elementary School in Kenmore, off of Juanita Drive. Back then it was a Bothell postal address.
I'D SAY BOTH DAUMINUQUE!!!
New subscriber. Found your channel by mistake but I’m glad I did. I’m with the WSP and I do see Pellco vehicles often. I just want to say I enjoy your channel. I have nothing but respect for truck drivers. Truck drivers at all levels keep our country moving. You are definitely as asset to your company. There is one thing that I find annoying as I scroll through the comments on your vids. People, actually I should say men seem to think you are a good driver, which you are, but a lot seem to have to add that you’re pretty. That has nothing at all to do with you being a good, safe, efficient driver. Just wondering what your take is on that? Thank you Dauminique and be safe
🤷🏻♀️ I hear it sometimes on the job too. I guess it’s not something I think about. I get a lot of “you’re not even that good looking” too. Which always makes me laugh because I never said I was. I’m guessing you work in the King/Snohomish county area if you see us often, there is only 5 trucks. It’s funny I’m never afraid of the the scale or the State Patrol, my encounters with them have always been good. I’ve gotten a few tickets over the years and I just move on. I appreciate what you do and I know it’s not easy. If you could focus on the people left lane camping that would make me happy though. 😂😂😂 why is keep right except to pass to fricken hard to understand?
@@DauminiqueTheDumpTruckDriver …..thank you so much for responding. I’m in District 7 which covers Snohomish county. Didn’t realize only 5 trucks. Maybe you were in one of them. I definitely have to get out of the dark ages I’m living in. Glad you’re encounters with the WSP have been positive. My father was a truck driver and he sacrificed a lot for us growing up so I have nothing but respect for the job you do. Me personally, I’ll never hassle any truck driver on the road unless I see an obvious safety violation, which is few and far between. And I agree with you 1000% about left lane drivers. I used to actually troll them at times. If I would see a motorist camping in the left lane I would activate my lights. When they’d move over I would just keep on going. Maybe they got the hint maybe they didn’t. Well I must have really offended someone one day because I got called in about it and I was taken off the road for 7 days. So no more of that. Rudeness and inconsideration is just something we deal with on the road on a daily basis. I saw in one of your vids you were expecting. I hope everyone is happy and healthy. Thank you again Dauminique for responding. And also thank you for your kind words. In these times now I try to keep my sense of humor at all times. I try to make every interaction I have with the public as positive as I can. I wish you nothing but happiness & success. Who knows? Maybe I’ll see you on the road sometime.
Impressive set of cameras on that truck, even has audio on the rear view cam. Is that something you put on for RUclips? Or do all your company's trucks have that Setup?
Ill ask you cause your states away around here I always have told my guys when they are getting loaded to have there pushers down spreads the impact across the whole truck your opinion on my way of doing things ? You are a good teacher you have to be very patient with everyone these days if you want to gain a well trained employee and Dump truck driver that is a nice truck should have a BULL DOG on the hood LOL glad I found your blog.
You are a beautiful teacher, I love you.😘😘😘😘❤❤💋💋🌹🌹🌹
Great video! Does the trainee get a super dump of her own when shes trained, or was this just a convenient way for her to get familiar with dumps?
I like her..... The way she acts ❤️
The training is well under way. Hopefully she will get into a new truck like yours when shes out on her own.
Another thing I did notice was gas prices are a lot higher where you are by a lot.
Yeah we pay the 3rd highest gas tax in the US.
Great job ladies. In all the years I drove I never had to try and train anyone. In fact I would have been a terrible trainer most likely. I would have probably been my way or the highway. 😂. Just out of curiosity does your employer ever watch your videos, and if so does he ever make comments? You ladies take care and be safe and stay healthy. 🙏👍💕👍
I taught her some of what I know, she never fought me on anything so we didn’t have any of that. He has/does watch them. He just said hey, keep it clean and I trust you to put out a good image of the company. He’s a great guy, great boss.
Hmmm!! Training stipend in the future?👩🏻🎓
hauling barrow huh must be bedding pipe or filling in trench
help you both in your carreer learn how to drive the smith system the 5 keys of driving one of the keys keep your eyes moving, she still knew constantly keep checking your mirrors be aware of your surroundings she be good, your awsome trainer
How ya like that automatic, does that stinger steer ?
50 years was enough for me. It’s yours young ladies.
Greenhorn girl-power way2go good teacher
A good trainer does wonders on nerves.
I think you said before you did not like a Mack. I know a couple that drive a new Frieghtliner over the road and hate it, rough riding. He likes the automatic transmission better than her.
I think that is so awesome seeing girls driving trucks. Alot of guys think it's just a guys job and complain so much. If a girl can do it, more power to you. And from what I can see you're both doing an awesome job. You are a great trainer Dauminique and she appears to be a fast learner. Stay safe out there you two.
She did learn really quickly.
@@DauminiqueTheDumpTruckDriver how long is her training? Has she driven a truck and trailer or a dump before?
O my God. Girl on Drive be careful all boys😍. Good work Girls
Hu?
This is cool, I am 27 considering getting my CDL and my year or more of OTR experiences and working into some stuff like this? How much experience does your company require? And how much does this pay if you don’t mind that question
No one in construction wants anyone with OTR experience. Get your CDL and get a construction job. The things you learn driving OTR do not transfer to construction. It’s better to just learn everything in a vehicle built to be off road. We are union, our company doesn’t have any requirements but the union does. Union journeyman dump truck drivers in our region are making $43.63 an hour plus benefits.
@@DauminiqueTheDumpTruckDriver Thanks for the info I really appreciate it :) What kind of experience did this lady here come from? You said she is a truck driver but had no dump truck experience. I trust your judgment I just mentioned OTR because I would likely go through a mega carrier like swift, and all the construction jobs I have found that require a CDL want one year "driving experience" I am a wildland firefighter and really getting tired of breaking myself man, I would like to be able to play with my kids
I love u unconditional
👍👍👍
HI Dauminique happy to see you
It's like I always say...." You can go down the mountain or around a curve a million times too slow but only once too fast!"
haha thats very true
let her know never waive a vehicle threw if that vehicle get in a accident she can be held reliable for that accident, just she doing realy good
I’m pretty sure she knows that.
what with the extra buttons lol? down by the PTO switch
There are a lot of buttons and switches, you have to be more specific. Lol
@@DauminiqueTheDumpTruckDriver down by the dump bed controls
@@badbrad2334 oh the PTO is on the dash, not the tower. The tower has the dogs, the maxel, the tarp, the mud flaps and then the lever to raise and lower the box.
Update. Got a job offer driving for a local excavation company. Wish they could pay more but like my buddy said get your seat time and you'll make more. I remember one of your videos you were trying to install your phone mount, any suggestions?
Yeah your first construction job is about getting in the inner circle of construction. then you can branch out and make more once you learn and meet people. I never found a good spot for it. I had to buy a magnet one that clips to the vent.
@@DauminiqueTheDumpTruckDriver yeah I've got one that has a magnet in it. Gonna have to put it outside of my phone cuz magnets not strong enough. I didnt know if the vent clip would hold. Just been stockpiling for now, they were gonna put me on a milling job but my tarp was broken.
I would like to learn how to drive dump truck I got a class B ..Trying to find a good company around the Portland Oregon area and hopefully something will automatic Allison .Any advice thanks
Limiting yourself to an automatic will drastically cut your options. From the people I know running in Oregon their equipment tends to be older. Look for places that do home delivery, like bark or top soil. Thats a good way to get into a dump truck in a less intense situation than construction.
I just started working for this dump truck driver and I’m really really worried about the 1099 cause I have done W-2s all my life
Don’t do a 1099, you can’t be covered on company insurance unless you’re an official employee.
@@DauminiqueTheDumpTruckDriver the only reason I got the job was to gain experience since other companies where asking for minimum 2 yrs, just got my CDL earlier this yr that’s why
@@1990CUEVAS that’s sketchy. Be careful.
@@1990CUEVAS that’s not normal BTW.
@@DauminiqueTheDumpTruckDriver thanks for the info
I will come there so i work with you,i already know how to drive trucks
I learned on my own, asked questions if unsure, must be oldschool ???
I learned on my own as well. I think that good dump truck drivers are hard to find and our company decided that they wanted to make their own. I don’t blame them after they tried and failed to hire someone to cover me for my maternity leave.
