When I was your age, like you I was doing well in the construction business. Now after 50+ years of 'fun construction', living alone and retired, I'm going to sell a 5275 sq ft home and build a 2500sq ft shop/home (with 500 sq ft of it being living quarters), on an acre nearer health facilities (as we'll all need them) and live my last 20-25 years laughing about how much fun it was!

That's an upgrade to what you sold and moving out of 🤙 There is a few gated communities down the road I live. Too many hob nob snobs living in them, people that get their hands dirty are beneath these people. There is lots of new subdivisions like that too. People are never impressed when I drop one of my empty grungy 50 yard roll off bins on the street to pick up our rental excavators 😂 The new neighborhoods have become can you pass the Grey Poupon.

Nice when the rock jockeys are pleasant. Especially first load of the day. Been to some that they are sarcastic jerks just to make their day go by.They will over load you 3-4,000 just so you have to dump a little. and reweigh. I go out dump my whole load. Yard boss asks why. I tell him. He gets called to the office.Next one I’m 400 lite. Beautiful home and shop especially such a young couple. Good for you guys.

Lol small world I delivered the drain rock for that wall. I used to hunt bears just north of that housing plat. There are lots of bears and cats in that area.
