Financial literacy - Short course on Smart Financial management - Right from elementary school through high school, you had courses for music, dance, sports, programming, robotics, etc. but none for finances. I would like to change that and introduce you all to the basics of personal finances.
It's fair to say, you can't play the game if you do not know the rules. When you work hard to earn money, why not play smart and make your money work for you. In this introductory short course, I will walk you through the basics of budgeting, saving, investing, and taxes. Financial literacy is essential for achieving financial freedom.
This is targeted toward high schoolers/college kids who are preparing to enter the workforce.
Speaker: Rohit Kamath was born and brought up in Bangalore India, and graduated with a Master's degree in Computer Science from Chico State California. Worked at SAP for over 11 years and currently at Google as a SAP Cloud architect, with over 25 years of working experience in the IT industry. With a passion to empower high school students with the knowledge and skills to make informed financial decisions for a bright future.
