Shenshi admits he’s not like other dwarves to Namari; when she’s much more the epitome of Tolkien-esque dwarves. So the title of this video about Senshi should not be representative of Delicious in Dungeon’s dwarves in general
I just realiized the 'dwarf' cook adventuring with the group is a mishmash of the other characters delving the dungeon. Like they are going to their deaths and whats left of them will be absorbed to form a chimera we think is a dwarf.
Unfortunately, a LOT of Senshi's history and backstory will be revealed in a later episode. Watch for it. One thing though, Senshi is essentially obfuscating how long he's been around. According to the Adventure's bible (please correct me if I mixed up the reference books), he's been there for MORE than 10 years.
Another note: there is Elvish and Gnomish magic, but no Dwarvish magic. I think those three are collectively the "long-lived races", too, with the short-lived being mostly Tallmen, Half-foots, Oni, Kobolds, and Orcs... Maybe more we aren't aware of.
Dwarfs are the race with the least ability to absorb, store and use mana. The unnamed conservative dwarf realm is still one of the important nations, with a similar interest as the western elves to keep everyone else from dark magic.
I would say that Senshi is one of the Dwarves, as the lifespan of a Dwarf can easily be above 700 or even 800 Years in Dungeons and Dragons. Logically he must’ve been a very long time in the Dungeon to fully hone his skills and knowledge. You can’t see a bit of grey or white hair on him, which would mean, he might be a younger Dwarf or that he is in his middle Years. It would make sense to hide all necessary informations about him to create some excitement and wonder for the Viewers. A Dwarf is an interesting choice to be a Chef as they are normally interested in smithing and crafting. Which he does with food. Also his Gear is quite unusual. Something must’ve happened to him to be the person that he is now.
The eastern islanders mention it on and off. The only common demihumans there seems to be oni. And oni are rare elsewhere. There's a fun little side story where easterners think of humans as short, because they compare to oni.
(Anime only) I wonder if Senshi would have a deeper connection to the dungeon cleaners. Since Eastern? Dwarfs started it [and he could be a descendant (as mentioned in the video)] , maybe they found these creatures and found a working relationship like symbiotic? The dwarfs could make a more habitable space and they can help repair as they do. I also wonder if there is any sort if special pathways only dwarfs can access 🤔 What if dungeon cleaners are the remains of passed dwarfs because they want to keep the dungeon together? Or something along those lines.
In older megadungeons, you could run into dungeon factions. People who fully or partially live in there and maintain a permanent presence. I like both of these groups.
while i'm glad more people are getting into this series via the anime, watching anime onlies theorize things in a completed 90-chapter manga is An Experience.

I also wonder if there is any sort if special pathways only dwarfs can access 🤔
What if dungeon cleaners are the remains of passed dwarfs because they want to keep the dungeon together? Or something along those lines.
Looks like youre gonna enjoy the next episode 😊
Rock and stone!
Oh, the timing of this :)
Weapon dealer is runaway with money that why de gone and leave Dwarves bad mane
Love this video is great
Keep cooking brother
did senshi truly stay in there for ten years, or only since its discovery?
senshi is on the run from the dungeon irs
I might be misremembering but I thought the dwarves were only accused of expanding the dungeon, not creating it
Watching the anime-only fans try to understand Senshi is fucking AMAZING. None of you are ready! XD
Could someone tell me what music is playing in the background?
Fire Emblem Awakening ~ Conquest
Chrono Cross ~ Home World
Fire Emblem Fates ~ No Justice
Chrono Trigger ~ Corridor of Time
Read the manga then revisit this topic, I like your perspective
He's just a young lad
Seinen? Vinland saga!?! Berserk readthrough !? god this is hype
ROCK AND STONE
Nice ❤❤❤❤
I finished the manga ... He is still a mystery 😅
This is just supported by episode 22.
I believe we will learn the second half of it next week
Yeah, me too.
Background song plsssssss
it's so funny watching anime only's theorize stuff
He is dad.
Next question
Don't see where you got the idea of Senshi being familiar with the thugs and bandits of the dungeon. There's no indication that this happened?
I think he's just talking about 1 the orcss and 2 the fact that he knew at least about the hidden bar thingy where they went to sell vegtables
@@jcp1296 he mentioned both of them as separate groups
In older megadungeons, you could run into dungeon factions. People who fully or partially live in there and maintain a permanent presence.
I like both of these groups.
I guessed Senshi just had no reason to deal with the criminals. They are supplied from the surface in their little secret holdouts.
See the today chapter uwu
Looks. Likeyess
while i'm glad more people are getting into this series via the anime, watching anime onlies theorize things in a completed 90-chapter manga is An Experience.
Senshi's *censored* is heartbreaking, especially after you understand his fixation in pro*censored* m*censored*
A bit too spoilery imo
As a manga reader, i thought his past would be more interesting, its emotional, but i thought there would be a bigger twist ya know
What the hell you wanted more then thet his background is the most rocking story in the series find personally very satisfied with his story
@@ChBvg-yu8xb *SPOILERS*
hes basically just a dwarf that lost his friends is the dungeon. I thought he would be more important, thats all. His backstory isnt bad, just less interesting. I thought that he mayby came from the dungeon, or is a part of it or something.
Senshi is evil
This is a frankly bizarre video. We know the answers to all of these questions because the manga exists. Why are you speculating about facts that are already known?
Cause its fun? 😊
manga readers dont know how to have fun or experience joy or inhabit a state of whimsy, just spoil anime onlys to fuel their superiority complex
@@gardenia1773 We experience our whimsy in real time instead of artificially delaying it by multiple years and pretending that the information we speculate on doesn't exist.
@@fell5514 artificially?? thats very silly come on lmfao
all i can say is, in general, your experience and path through the world isnt the "True" or "Correct" one, this doesnt exist
@@gardenia1773 Did I say it was? No, I just said that if you wait all that time for the anime you don't get to pretend like the answers don't already exist, the time for wild speculation about a story is when it's actually in progress, not months after it finished.
OMG, just read the manga and stop this bs
