The high from the VLT/Slot isn't from the loss it comes from the almost win. Sure I lost 100 bucks but that last spin 1 more symbol woulda been a bonus and a bonus woulda made me 10 bucks above what I put in so it's the chase the thrill of the chase. But the addictive personality side also makes me wonder when I hear stories like Caitlin on how did you afford it? How much were you spending? Did you ever wonder how you afforded it or what would have happened? It's a big what if thing for me and I think that might play in with the ADHD anxiety side
As someone who for sure gambles at points in my life I've been anxious to spend 300 bucks on 2 nights in a hotel in Edmonton, but I've for sure stopped in grassland and spent that in a VLT for "fun" as I tell myself and then Wallow in it and think about it the rest of the drive.
I love the break down in time needed for courses and her plan on how long she can do it.
I started university of New Brunswick may 23rd... Each course they allow 3 months per course... I'm on course #5 now since end of May..
As someone who's never drank to done drugs but for sure has been around the lifestyles and what not I really appreciate the open and honesty and discussions going on here! Her sober time sounds like me.. like doing EDC sober with fort mac folks.
