@ 1:50:00 I've noticed when placing a side chain on just the group its doesn't cut as hard as I'd like it too versus placing it on select track channels. I'm sure routing it to a ghost kick would solve that problem tho

Like he says don't regurgitate shit you see online, too many producers stick to doing the same thing over and over just because some guy on youtube or reddit said it was a good idea. If you do watch a tutorial, experiment and research on your own until you understand what's going on. If you're doing something only because somebody else told you to do it, you're doing it wrong.
