- Hello guys,
Today I'll work on a fossil watch? service of Seiko sII caliber vd57c movement. I'll only use rodico putty to clean this movement 🙂

I love this inexpensive watch. I had purchased one with a rubber strap not so long ago but gave it to my nephew for his first year of highschool. Luckily I found another with a stainless steel band for myself. Not expensive at all even though it looks really nice. Good restoration. I really enjoyed it.

Hello sir..
I have a similar watch, the Fossil CH2519 series. My watch became damaged after replacing the battery at a watch store. Currently, the watch is still functioning, but the seconds subdial frequently gets stuck, causing the hand to stop moving.
When I pull or push the crown, the subdial starts running again.
However, this only lasts for 1-5 minutes before getting stuck again.
What could be the issue with my watch?
I am willing to send it to you for repair since it is my first watch that I cherish.

Olá senhor, as rodas do cronógrafo de lados opostos são as mesmas. apenas as rodas dos minutos do cronógrafo são diferentes

I have same model watch, but accidentally damaged the body. I really love it. Is it possible to get all the body parts now. I am from Bangalore, if repair possible, i can visit pune also. Thanks in advance

and have you maybe a tip for me? i would love to replace this movement by a mechanical. automatic one because i love the design of the watch so much. have yu a tiop qhat could fit in ? or would you make that for me ? ;-)
Sorry sir, I don't think automatic movement will work properly in this watch... even if we try there will be to much complications 🙁...

@@oxytronix watch case and dail are made according to movement dimensions, finding same size of chronograph movement will be a headache 😅

Take your watch to any nearest watch repair shop, crown stem is different for every watch...

I'm not sure, but if you are not from India then you can buy those parts from eBay or aliexpress.

are you sure of the exact movement type ? because if i search for this it has allways the date on 3 oclock.
Yes I'm sure😅, any movement which has 3 o clock date are suitable for dials with 4 o'clock date window....

Have you checked the battery. If it is ok, then you need to get your watch serviced.
@Watch Wizard Service yes sure, battery was replaced by the watchmaker last week only, but even after that the problem remains the same , I've submitted my watch he said only service would do.
But i think because i had dropped it , i hope no part is destroyed
@@zZ-yw9hn Is it a mechanical watch. If yes, then blow from a fall can cause a bend or broken wheel. But probability of this happening is very low.
Or if its a quartz watch then most of the time there will be no physical damage to the movement.
