I say let them… let them spend all that money on infrastructure in China and Mexico, then hit them with tariffs so that that the $20k cost Mexico built truck has to sell for the same price, or more, as the $30k cost US built truck…. I know buen argument, but prices will rise…. But We need to start protecting US labor.

If you look at the sales figures from 2019 the vehicle that outsold Dodge Charger and Challenger combined was the Dodge Grand Caravan. Maybe that vehicle should have been continued to keep the brand viable.

Bring back the Dakota and offer a naturally aspirated V6 with the 10 speed transmission like the frontier and Ridgeline.
Stellantis is Fiat and Peugeot owned both of which dont sell in the USA. Both my Ram trucks were plagued with problems so I wont buy another one and i think most of America knows this by now.

Stellantis is not leaving the US Market. They’re definitely investing in the US footprint. But the business model has changed.

Their stuff was always low quality. Outsourced overseas it will get worse. Avoid them at all cost now.

Sorry, but Kia and Hyundai EV's are hideous. I would be embarrassed to be seen in one of those things. I think the majority of people who will buy an EV has already done so. Which is part of the reason sales are tanking. Plus, people are finding out they are not as reliable as they were made out to be, and the charging infrastructure is no where near ready for prime time. You can hardly take them on a long distance trip without extending your time on the road by almost double. Not too mention increased insurance costs.

I just love your ignorant comments. Pretty obvious you don't own an EV.

Surely Ram trucks will not exit the market in the United States but they will accept the loss of market share in exchange for profits.
This European mentality is now firmly embedded in US manufacturing. When Congress gets the balls to require 90% USA origin parts and components the price will be justified.
