Darkrai wasn't always portrayed as evil. In the Darkrai movie, he is shown to be selfless and protecting of the people of the town, but is mistakingly blamed for effects of Dialga and Palkia battling around the town.
In the movie Rise of Darkrai.. Darkrai was not the villain.. he actually was trying to stop Dialga and Palkia from fighting. And he only trapped Humans in nightmares so they;'d sop interfering.. Darkrai was doing what Giratina could not
but but.. giratina was banished for a reason, because of its destructive behavior... imagine you (arceus) hiring 3 construction workers (legendary trio) to build your house (the universe), 2 of which are always hard at work (dialga and palkia) and then the 3rd guy just wrecks everything that is made.. you would fire the 3rd worker instantly (giratina)

It tried to stop them but Arceus assumed it was conflict and banished it to its own dimension. The fighting resulted in Giratina's world being damaged and filled with smog sparking anger in Giratina to get revenge

Darkrai isn’t evil, just misunderstood. I watched the Rise of Darkrai a long time ago (also the reason that he’s one of my favorite Pokémon), and there, the only reason he gives nightmares is to warn people of the battle between Palkia and Dialga. He then ends up trying to end their fight, even though it causes him harm. So darkrai is a good boi at heart.

Increase your Pokemon(Fighting Type, invest in one) attack speed at least 290-300+, teach it Focus Blast or any Bug or fighting attack which deals 80 damage and above. I build up my anti-darkrai team when my friend uses 6 of them on me. HAHAHHAHAHAHAHA.
I have a Darkrai with max EVs and IVs in Special Attack with a Quiet nature. It's also shiny. And I am a competitive noob. But I don't just spam Dark Void, I use Dark Void once, then Nightmare, stall with Nasty Plot and then hit with Dream Eater. Couple this strategy with the Bad Dreams ability, and the opponent's team will wish they never went to sleep!

After that you were trying to escape back in time so that you could could once again attempt to engulf the world in darkness. Fortunately, Palkia came and stopped you. The time portal was scattered and you lost your memory, but now that I see people are starting to disknowledge your wish that you spoke of, I can only assume that they have once more been brainwashed and that you are at it again. (this would be an awesome twist for a mystery dungeon game)
Those who thought that "Primal Dialga" is like other Hoenn Primal form. Accually it's just a wrong transtation, in japanese that Dialga is called "Dark Dialga", it's not a Primal form at all, in fact Dialga loses his power to manipulate time due to the collapse of the Temporal Tower.
That is true, but Dialga turned into dark Dialga due to time collapsing, but it could still control time. Such as when the main character, their partner and grovyle try to return to the past but are stopped by dusknoir and his sableye, at that moment Dialga appeared. But due to Celeb'is power over time they managed to slip past dusknoir but Dialga stopped them by countering celebi's time travel ability making them visible.
In that movie Darkrai was a Hero, but in this video I wanted to portray Darkrai as a Pokemon who has no choice... Darkrai will always be evil because of its ability.

you forgot the movie darkrai it wasnt evil just hated and misunderstood as it was trying to drive palkia away from the town and even gave its life to save the civilians who hated it so much its selfless sacrifice was so motivating i actually cried so hard even though palkia brought it back to life it still acted as a guardian watching over the town
You forgot to mention how darkrai was protecting the town in the movie Rise of Darkrai; I believe there are either 1)various versions of darkrai, like how there are different versions of suicune (like the shiny in master of illusions and anime version) or 2)dimensional differences between mainstream game\sidegames/anime\movie/manga cause different versions of darkrai to be portrayed. Also, give spoiler warnings in the future (especially for PMD)?? I know all the stuff that was mentioned, but if someone hadn't played the game...big time story spoiling.
You can catch darkrai, shaymin, cresselia, and Arceus in Pokemon diamond/pearl without the use of any external device or hack. They are catchable with a regular Pokemon pearl or diamond game and a regular ds. Just take that in. You can catch these Pokemon without hacks in Pokemon diamond and pearl.

That dialga wasn't the same thing, Primal dialga in japanese translates to dark dialga, Different from the new primal legends and MD isnt Canon aswell

you forgot the movie darkrai it wasnt evil just hated and misunderstood as it was trying to drive palkia away from the town and even gave its life to save the civilians who hated it so much its selfless sacrifice was so motivating i actually cried so hard even though palkia brought it back to life it still acted as a guardian watching over the town

Hmm, I thought Darkrai was depicted as evil by humans but he ultimately turned out to be somewhat of a hero.
You forgot to mention how darkrai was protecting the town in the movie Rise of Darkrai; I believe there are either 1)various versions of darkrai, like how there are different versions of suicune (like the shiny in master of illusions and anime version) or 2)dimensional differences between mainstream game\sidegames/anime\movie/manga cause different versions of darkrai to be portrayed.
Also, give spoiler warnings in the future (especially for PMD)?? I know all the stuff that was mentioned, but if someone hadn't played the game...big time story spoiling.

Darkrai has been my favorite pokemon ever since i started pokemon :D
You can catch darkrai, shaymin, cresselia, and Arceus in Pokemon diamond/pearl without the use of any external device or hack. They are catchable with a regular Pokemon pearl or diamond game and a regular ds. Just take that in. You can catch these Pokemon without hacks in Pokemon diamond and pearl.
I’m five years late, but Mystery Dungeon is the only instance of Darkrai being truly evil.
