From my experience as a rogue minmaxer over the years, in order of best to worst: 1. Dedicated dungeon cleave 2. Uncontested duo questing (elite quests and less downtime more than makes up for the xp split) 3. Uncontested solo questing 4. Dungeon pugs (taking into account waiting to find other groups, dad breaks, etc.) 5. Contested questing (if proficient and close enough to launch, this can turn into uncontested questing) 6. Dungeon pugs before Blade Flurry (no one will take you, or they will disband after 1 run when they realize you can't cleave) Strongly agree with level of enjoyment. Not burning out can boost any one of these. Obviously the real secret is tricking yourself into enjoying the most optimal thing. Disagree with never getting mount late. With barebones training, smart auctioning, optimizing bag space, DropTheCheapestThing, and strict goal of leveling as fast as possible, rarely do I have 90g before 43-44 in base era. The argument can be made that if you are properly dragging mobs with you while fighting, the value of having a mount drops off a little.
Funny, I can sit and grind on turtles for hours. But when I try and get a dungeon group I usually sit for 30min and then give up, coulda used that time on ma turts!
@@Kippzoits a shit addon, especially on pvp servers because you arent just competing against your faction, but the other faction as well and the addon tells everyone to go to the same places, resulting in poor questing/getting ganked. restedxp is literally the worst leveling addon if your server is even remotely populated.
I really wish they made the sleeping bag BoA. How is my low level going to get it without walking for 2 hours to get there or paying 20g to get summoned around. Redic.
phase 2 has honetly been absolutely horrible. phase 1 was lightning in a bottle, phase 2 they lost it and ive lost most interest in playing now. my main still hasnt hit 40, none of my alts have even started the leveling process. practically impossible to find groups with the minmaxing and meta grouping. absolutely disappointed with phase 2 and now im not looking forward at all to phase 3 if this is the way the game is going to continue. the experience of phase 2 has been less than enjoyable. only options are to mindlessly grind mobs because questing isnt even worth the xp per hour, or mindlessly grind scarlet monestery hundreds of times until you are max level.
well for me it's a no-brainer. I could make questing routes with free addons like we used to have to do on private servers but I just don't personally find it fun, and If I'm going to level like 10+ characters I get a ton of use out of it, but everyone plays the game for different reasons so if you don't want it no reason to buy it.
This game is very old, we have all done the quests a million times, so leveling is already brain-dead. An addon like that could be really handy at making sure you don't make mistakes by accident and keeping that zombie grind easier so you can do things like watch movies or w/e.
It's more a guide of "how to fill a video with 90 Prozent trash and 10 Prozent gain to stretch the length". Also why not talking a bit faster? Like another 3 times faster? Surely good for understanding!

But now I feel bad since you took the time to respond and I can't just be a random doomer in the background of the comments. So I'll take a moment to add that experimenting with new video styles and content is always a worthwhile endeavor. Even if some of us don't like them all.

And you are right, theres nothing crazy or groundbreaking in this video, but I can't make every video like that there just isn't that much big brain stuff to talk about it tbh. I still think what I said had some value but I because it's so subjective it's just not going to do well unless I'm super famous and tons of people care what I specifically think. I tried to provide a reason why my opinion matters with the context at the start of the video but I don't think it's enough for the average viewer to care. Oh well, learning experience, I'm just happy some people got to watch it and its not sitting at 5 views or something.

I’ve literally never used restedxp, why would I pay money for an addon when I’m already paying a monthly sub just to play the game?
