I really enjoyed your take aways from Northanger Abbey! I personally love it and Henry Tilney, and it's always in competition with Persuasion as my favorite. Having read A Sicilian Romance and only part of Udolpho, as well as other contemporaries of Austen, definitely helped me understand what she was doing a little better. I just love the story and the narrator's humor so much.
