Whenever you meditate, do not try to control your thoughts just observe them instead. Soon, you will start to notice that, they would flow into your mind, they would come in, they would go out, they would eventually start to slow down. "The key to this is understanding that this is not about controlling your mind, that if you try to control, that will build resistance. Instead, allow the thoughts to be there and observe them from a neutral place. Now, in order to understand the neutral place, I've used this analogy before but imagine that you are sitting at a park on a park bench and you are just there observing your surroundings, just relaxing. If you watch people walk by, you're just observing them walk by. You're not judging them. You're not putting labels to them and if you do have, the mind puts a label on them, you're not identified with it. You're just observing what’s happening.
    Good luck :)

I loved the part where Dear Dada said that Meditation is like an appointment with the supreme Lord. We need to prepare ourselves like cleaning up and keeping the time and dressing well. That is so cool.

    1. Do it in a quiet place and do it where you don’t sleep
    2. Early morning, 45 min before and after sunrise/sunset - pineal gland is active early morning and late night
    3. Take a cool bath before meditation
    4. Posture - sit upright; take a short nap to get energy if you have had a long day
    5. Control tongue/reject negative thoughts -if you assume everyone is a mirrored version of you then it’s harder for you to get angry as you can control through meditation how they act towards you
    6. Don’t have constipating or spicy food
    7. Liberal use of imagination
    8. Do collective meditation like go to gurudwara
    9. Do service

1.do asanas and pranayama before meditation. (learn those from a genuine source)
    2.eat vegetarian food.
3.whatever you are doing, do it fully. (pratyahara). this means no other action in the mind takes place. if you are doing everything in your daily life with a chattering mind, when you sit for meditation, it ll keep going.
4.try to meditate between 3:20/8:20 am.
    5. avoid violence in thought, word and deed.
    6. be truthfull all the time, as much as you can.
i wish succes all those who meditate.

Sylvius Hieronymus Asparagus Yeah I know of him I watch his videos all the time. I was going to do kriya a long time back. Then I assumed that in kriya you cannot eat meat, celebacy, etc. Also I found it was too strict, since I’m very freethinking. But kriya came from Shiva I think. I prefer Osho he has always been my favourite since he gave freedom. No one else

    • @mahakala
      @mahakala 4 года назад +1

@@mubarakbrar9937 not at all. if you do the kriya, either from yogananda or sri M, you dont need to practise celibacy nor you must avoid meat. although if you eat vegetarian food, it is supportive.
i respect osho but in my opinion he is of no help- since spiritual growth requires a living guru and his meditation techniques do not make you advance , as far as i am concerned
      wish you best of luck.

One thing that I noticed that allows me to enter and incredibly deep meditation, is to make sure you keep your body as still as you possibly can. The more you keep your body still, and your back comfortably straight, the easier it is to find the stillness that is beyond all form, and to see the awareness and consciousness that comes before all things. When it comes to having a very deep meditation, even a small movement can break the depth of the meditation. Thanks for sharing this video. Much Love. 🙏

Completely agreed. It might take years to understand this, do not take this idea to "sit still, without absolutely any movement" lightly. If you follow this you will see the change really soon. Very Very Very Important, please no one miss this

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but William Johnson specifically recommends *against* staying utterly still. You may find his book, "The Posture of Meditation," and his lectures at www.embodiment.net/audios illuminating. I personally find my meditation improves when I don't hold myself stiff and unmoving, like I was first taught in Zen.

If you sit still you can get into the deepest deepths of Mindfulness meditation but as soon as you move or get into a task you can enter the zone of flow state. I know what im talking about, im a mma & muay thai fighter

Flux it let it, with the intent of sitting still the body may shake rock etc, but eventually it will “internally rock” and then eventually deep stillness will come just keep at practice very good

If she is not able to form a conversation point with out using the word “you”, she is not worth the effort, because it will always be everyone else causing her problems, at least in her eyes

Great advices, thank you. I was told to practice Kechari Mudra with your tongue. You need to find a special spot on top of your pallate to stimulate. Hearth is the first organ that is born in womans womb and tongue is the second one. Tongue is male sexual organ and pallate is female sexual organ. When you practice Kechari Mudra, you connect your heart and your brain. When saliva is released = swallow it. Your digestion will spread this "message" all around your body and you will become naturally happy and blissful with Alpha wave frequencies. Love to all of you on this Feb 14, 2020 ;-)

Dear Dada, thank you for taking the time/energy to film this video for everyone, but there is one thing you say that I don't understand why you would suggest it: at 8.47 you suggest to "reject all negative thoughts". Why would I want to REJECT negative thoughts, I would just bypass them, they would be stored and piled up in my energy and body and would cause great harm. Why not face the negative thoughts, release and transform them? -Ava

I agree with you Ava. I'm currently working on facing and transforming my negative thoughts/ emotions through meditation. It's a powerful practice I learned from the book Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself. I certainly do try to reject negative thoughts at other times though.

Because thats what buddist does. Reject Every kind of suffering. Ad Carl Jung once said, buddha knows reality, but knows nothing about life.

Why not learn to be a bystander to negative thoughts? We all know they exist, and are very persistent, but to reject them is to give them more prominence than they deserve because we first have to acknowledge them. So train the mind to be a spectator, rather than a participant.

@@andredoracle6326 I believe everyone needs to find their own way. I, for my part, don't find acknowledgement in rejection and I don't think that negative thoughts need to be persistent, because once you face them, they disappear time by time. You integrate them in your being. And I think that to view something as a spectator and to reject something, there is a great difference between the two. Thanks for your thoughts!

Cool. Go do it now or you never will. Being a monk takes guts and desperation. If you don’t have both you’re just a temple tourist
