I just installed all polyurethane mounts and now my ride is back on my lift im going to go back with stock rubber mounts. The car vibrated me to where I was almost numb lol
Yea bro dont worry bout the noise it breaks in later on gonna go back to regular sound, sicc ass video tho u da only one who made the most precise video about the rear mount 👌🏾
Good video man! Hasport mounts are such a good investment! That piece of the linkage you reffered to as the traction bar is actually the shift linkage stabilizer bar or "linkage stabilizer".
I got Sickspeed mounts, and i think theyre the 92a mounts, i got them for Christmas so i didnt actually buy them, but they rattle like crazy. I don't mind it 😅 no one else likes it
*_Looking to get stiff motor mounts for my 97 Civic eK hatch also. It is a D16 though. Doing my research until I find some good ones. I might pick these up though._*
With performance motor mounts the whole point is to prevent the engine from vibrating separately from the rest of the car so more of the engine rolling or torque goes to the wheels more immediately (because the engine will no longer roll in the engine bay). So with that said engine nose is going to increase dramatically unless you go with less performance oriented mounts
1997 honda crv , all wheel drive. I do go off roading, mildly. I am looking for a decent set of motor mounts. That would better handle the jolts , bumps, different angles , and uphill stress. I think I want something better than stock. I'm not sure so I'm watching a lot of videos on this stuff. This is the first video I seen of this name brand that you installed. Thanks in advance.
Hasport is a leader when it comes to aftermarket motor mounts for Honda/Acura. They are much more pricey because all mounts and tech are designed in house and the mounts are made in the US. You would be in good hands with hasport. I have seen some people get away with copycats and lesser brands if you don’t wanna fork the money
Can I ask you, after installing the rubber tripod, the situation is less vibration and noise reduction compared to the tripod rubber manufacturer of the manufacturer?
my Em1 civic stock engine mounts let the engine flex so hard the harmonic balancer dug into the frame rail and destroyed the pulley 96/00 driver side are the worst mount designs
i just got 1 for my delsol its 62A street driven. eventually will do the other two. shits not cheap though. the one im replacing is clapped pretty bad anyway
the transmisson mount sucks on those went to try and install it and it doesnt fit holes all line up but the way they designed the mount made it so it doesnt fit u have to really modify it and thats something i dont want to waste my time with ... worthless waste of money
There should be less wear on the trans and driveshaft, since there isn't as much slack. It allows the connection between engine and transmission to be more precise and efficient. That's my view on it anyway. I have Street mount bushes and the gearbox is a lot more smooth and i have heaps more traction to the wheels (FWD).
This made me confirm my decision to go with standard mounts

You have to break them in. They get smooth with time.

Which ones did you pick? I also have a d16 with blown Engine mounts please 🙏 if you could recommend
How do you get rid of the rattling? Just uprated my clio 182 engine mounts and everything in the car rattles!!

Hello cracked engineblock
Stiff mounts all around crack the block?
@@3.0TMKreaZ You're right. Block won't crack, solid mounts however will run that risk.
@@3.0TMKreaZ There has been times, when you run a solid mount on the engine and a softer one on the transmisson
Wrong they do not crack the engine block at all. I've had them many times before never an issue
