    Minstrel's Adieu - Thomas
I found a new practice spot today at school so I could try performing my piece in a 'castle' setting 🤣🤣 Top floor at NZSM isn't exactly a castle - but the cleaners did seem quite intrigued!!
Much better progress on this piece the past couple days than I have seen in the last 3 months (although I've really only worked on V4 so that might be why..)
    V1 - Memory much improved
V2 - getting harmonics clearer, but need to get the right ones!! I know what the correct notes are, so I'm really a bit confused as to why I occasionally play the wrong one out of no where??
V3 - can play fine by memory, but not sure if I could still do it under pressure? Many of the jumps are very similar and may get confused in exam. More work with score
V4 - got up to crochet = 52 yesterday which was a big surprise!! Could only get back up to crochet = 44 today which was a bit annoying, but can hopefully keep making progress on this part now instead of being stuck like the past couple months.

I think it's more of a complete performance than an try performing. Nevertheless, my knowledge of music is at the level of "it sounds good to me", so don't take my word for it :) It's obvious that you'll get better and better every time. You're doing a great job, congratulations!

thanks :) I've really only spent time learning the last variation, so the rest of the piece is just me hoping for the best! 🤣🤣 It still needs a lot of work, but it's getting there gradually!
