Not that many years ago the farmers here used to bring them here for the growing season,sponsored them, then they would go back home at the end of the season. Of course there were some that stayed illegally, but not that many really and they kept to themselves and never really got in trouble. Nobody mentions the legal waiting list. I have been waiting for my daughter to come with her husband and two daughters for 12 years. I’m an American citizen and I was told that I have to wait for about three to four more years. When they come I have to sign an affidavit of support even though I pay my taxes every year. These illegals are accepted to stay as soon as they come, they receive all kind of benefits and money and work permission. This is really sad and unfair.

He said they were deliberately allowing it to fill low wage jobs that many Americans dont want to do, he also said it puts downward pressure on wages and keeps inflation under control. The illegal immigrant thing has been going on since I was a kid. In 2007 I got let go and (with 3 years in hvac and 6 years in electrical) I could not find a job because they would hire illegal immigrants for half the wage. I gave up on construction and took any job I could get. This was in Texas, It wasn't until years later that I was able to get a construction job in another state far from the border.
We’d we wise to have and show working class solidarity now and start unifying among our class lines (poor/working/middle) against those at the top. Throw away your political party bias and focus on what we are ALL most affected by.
I own a business. One of the most prideful things I see is my employees lives being improved by working with me. I charge more because I pay my employees more and I won't change.

The only way I see is all of the American people finally coming together and marching on Washington with a bunch of 6 foot lengths of rope. As long as they can keep us fighting over petty differences like who we choose to love or what color we happen to come into the world as, this sadly will not happen. Lost my job in St. Louis to migrants over 8 months ago. Now Ive displaced my family for work.
This has been happening for years and people deny it or make excuses. My father, US citizen as well as several of my uncles worked for a company. This company also hired illegals. They had the US citizens for government contract work as they needed background checks for clearance into certain areas like nuclear plants, army bases etc. etc. When they didn't have government work they would leave my family at home as they were the ones with the highest wages and they would use the illegals for less than half the cost. Funny shit is I called both IRS and migration services to report the fraud and they never did anything about it.
