Me too, and I had some underpowered gear at that time too so the pain was very much tripled that I get only 3 hits and I'm dead. Good thing 6 hours is still within good time.

i love how the stomping thing is a part of every valkyrie's move set. So during valkyrie training the queen was like "ok noobie just swoop down and stomp on their neck its an op move"
Platinuming this game was so worth it... But getting there by beating the Valkyrie Queen was the hardest thing I ever did, like, my hands were raw ground beef after beating it... Ragnarok better not be harder, or y'all about to see a grown man cry.
Sigrun is a wonderful boss. She has a healthbar of a train and ~20 different attacks to watch out for. And she still seems quite fair, you can evade every single one of her attacks if you know what you are doing, she can be staggered and guard broken. And when everything 'clicks' you finally beat her, after a beautiful dance.
You know what’s funny is you can fight an even harder version of the Valkyrie Queen on new game plus on the hardest difficulty where you think you know their move set but they changed it slightly so that you have to get used to the timings of every attack all over again but I would only recommend that if you like the feeling of getting your shit pushed in 😂
I've beat her a bunch on both, do they rly change the moves and timing, I always feel like she's a lot easier on the non new game plus but I never realized they like changed her
One of my absolute favorite boss fights in recent gaming memory. Tough but fair. Each death felt like it was my fault, not the boss pulling a cheap move (yes even the stomp) I ended up using the axe more than the blades, so watching those move sets on her is interesting to me I also had the rage resurrection stone as my revival. A lot less health, but full rage. Damage for health. Made a world of difference for me. Love watching you slowly figure her out
I was constantly switching between blades and axe when ever I fought them because I was running a runic build so extra runic attack options were needed.

Probably too late, but in case y'all need it: It's possible to distinguish between the unblockable stab and the spinning wings attack. When the Valkyrie slides to your left (her right) she's about to do the spinning attack. And when she goes to your right, she's about to do the stabby stab :b I wish I'd figured this out earlier in the game, but it wasn't until my second (GMGOW) run that I noticed this pattern ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ
Sometimes she dashes backwards and when she does this I still can’t distinguish whether she will do the unblockable stab or spinning attack. Zanny acknowledges this in the video and calls it the neutral stab 😂
Bro that stomping attack can last up to six times...trust me I've been through that living nightmare and that frustration when your slightest hope gets crushed by that stomp is something you can't explain by words...

The force push item you have is actually a part Easter egg. If you put certain gems onto it it will shoot out projectiles that do a ton of damage. It supposed to be like the infinity gauntlet :)
Sigrun and Malenia do have very similar energies. As a fellow veteran of the Valkyries quest, I was really rooting for Zanny after the first few tries. Because no one wants to see some guy beat a boss on the 3rd try that pushed you beyond your mental limits. Can’t wait to see his content on Bloodborne
Zanny and to anyone else reading, I get how tough it is to defeat the valkyries, on my first run it took me hours upon hours to defeat them, especially Sigrun, but on my second playthrough, I had found as my friend liked to call it "the pussy move" but it works, there is a light attack rune that you can purchase for the Leviathan Axe known as "The Wraith of the Frost Giants" which fires a beam of ice towards you enemy, boss fights can last seconds if this rune is level 3 and it took me about 2 hours to defeat all the valkyries including Sigrun and I shall let it be known that I was playing this on GMGOW+ difficulty. thanks for reading
I used the same rune on the Valkyries, the only problem with the rune is that you can’t really move while using it so I kept getting stomped out but I think that was just a me problem....

I once defeated almost 6 in one day . I guess it's all about timing .

The first time i fought the valkyrie queen it took me about 80 attempts, but now i can kill her on the hardest difficulty in around 5 to 6 trys each time.

So my first time playing this game was on Give me god of war just for the laughs, obviously i ended up regretting among many things being born so watching any boss fight in any difficulty different to GMGOW makes me so happy, being able to take more than 2 hits before dying brings a tear to my eye ayy
He needs runic damage attacks on his specials. Heavy stagger and runic damage is the greatest thing ever against valkyries, especially if it hits mulitple times

I think you would like the new Street Fighter since they're approach is more catered towards people who just want to have fun with friends. They focused less exclusively on combo execution and more on making the time in-between the combos more tense and engaging. But it allows you to rise up a skill ladder do big brain shit. There are two control modes simple and classic. The game also looks good and cool.
If only he used the axe... I dunno why he neglected axe runic attacks at least. Moreover, on GMGOW, you HAVE to use the axe to break some of her attacks as arrows don't stagger the flying attacks anymore on that difficulty

I Found the stomp easy to dodge. I dunno why. If you know when she likes to do it and when you have a great Reaction time, its easy.
