As a flagger, you can definitly tell where the Caddys are on the circuit even with 40+ other cars on track. The downshifts sound like a cannon is firing. The video doesn't quite do it justice. You don't hear the car approaching you, YOU CAN FEEL IT!
@@ChuckBeefOG On the contrary, I think there are plenty of fantastic sounding SOHC and DOHC V8s out there. Think of the various AMG V8s, which are DOHC cross-plane. Just my two cents.

I was at imola for the 6h race and can say: in person this car is by far the most beautiful sound i've heard that day. It's a car that you feel when it passes throught you, that engine was by far the loudest on all grid it sounded like a beast!

Let me tell you how loud this car is as someone who witnessed this in São Paulo. This car does a eletric roll away in the warm up lap, and when this car was right in front of me it fired the V8 engine. It was like a cannon, so loud it gave everyone including me the biggest jumpscare of our lives

As an old Ferrari fan, Italian I know the Imola circuit very well. Despite that I love the sound of the Cadillac!!! The V8 revving so high is a symphony. Amazing !!!

Please Cadillac, WIN the 24h of LeMans this year !! The ideal would be for the best car (the winner) to be the one with the best sound, to try to set a trend and encourage other brands to use engines with a larger displacement and therefore a bigger sound, even if this is not liked by others. the anti-purists who want 100% electric and silent cars. Generally, a very noisy car gives the sensation of power and speed, but in recent years that does not seem to be true. It would be very nice if the winning car were actually the car that had the best sound.

I saw Cadillac race at Le Mans last year. They sound so much better at the trackside. Wow. So elegant too. Definitely the best looking HyperCar.
