What a story. Someday he will be a world champion, no doubt. He will make what Jules sadly couldn't. C'mon Charles :')
Im so proud of you making that video for Jules
Lo mismo que mi tocayo. Ese video de Jules fue fantástico
I wouldn't say that Jules couldn't. Jules was never given the chance. Very sad...
Efeuno incredible history
Efeuno Sorry to burst the bubble but not every young promising driver will become world champion in F1. There's alot of factors which you mostly can't control yourself. Also, they make it seem very dramatic but the truth is, many people are going through many many more issues and tragedies than Leclerc even at his age, so to be fair it's not that special.
Belgian GP 2019, another tragedy and another triumph.
Chucky Goldstein R.I.P Antoine Hubert #AH19
This video struck more heavily now that he lost another loved friend, it seems this driver is very spiritual and unbreakable, something F1 has never seen before.
He didn't learn from the death of Anthoine
@@jamin4039 Well, he certainly got determination.

The win in spa is for hubert, his dad and jules, they will be very proud of him
About his F1 Championship too...
Soon
, his future first F1 Championship.
And now the season is gonna start in July which makes me pissed
@@snyperf1 still waiting, unfortunately
Just came here to say, Charles won the 2022 Bahrain GP and is off to a great start for this season. I think he'll definitely be one of the competitors for the championship this year and he has definitely come a long way:)
Charles will be the champion this year.
He is the best racer in a car matching his skill ! Max already have mechanical issues and Hamilton seems to have difficulties with his car. Russel is maybe a threat but Leclerc already have more points than them.
No doubt he will be the world champion this year !
@@sylvahno7370 He is dominating to this point. If Red Bull can't overcome their issues he will be champion for sure
It’s early days lads.
Ferrari could have a few mechanical failures of their own, but being a Red Bull fan from Vettel’s days there I’m hopeful for Charles WDC this year. BringBackThe80’sF1Racing not the boring Hamilton era. I’m British

I know. I changed my mind
This guy won TWO Races right after his father died. In F2, the second race is in REVERSE starting order, meaning if you win the first race you start at 8th on the second one... go figure. This guy will be a future champion. guaranteed
LeXx0r I feel like it'll be a dominance (once he's settled into the car) and finally Ferrari will have a massive challenge to throw down to Mercedes. I reckon that it won't be so much Vettel vs Hamilton, it could very well be Hamilton vs Leclerc.
@@Ward1706 you're absolutely right, if it wasn't for the MGU-H failure this week, Charles would have been the winner of the Bahrain GP. His pace is incredible, hopefully he will become a World Champion in the near future.
He managed to *Chop* everyone in qualifying as well

omg what a story this is, his dad must be proud as well as Jules, we miss him and Manor so much... :(
Jules never will be gone. he always lives in our memories, and I'm sure he is proud of Charles having finally debut. I once had placed Jules as future champion and when I saw for first time Leclerc drive, he got to that same list. now we can wait to see what this wonder kid will do ;)
Cynderfan35 yeah Charles has a great future ahead, just sad how it all happened with Jules
M. Schumacher also in a bad situation, we didn't forget him either
To be honest Manor died when John Booth and Graeme Lowden left. At least the real Manor is still racing in WEC in LMP2 even if it's not in F1 anymore.
Phone Industry yeah imagine what jules could do in f1 right now if he is still around. But, at least we wouldn't have to see another rivalry that destroy a lifelong friendship like Lewis and Nico.
Virgin, Marussia, and Manor were actually different teams with different management. Yeah I miss Manor, but it's because I wanna see Rio driving it again.
6 years after his debut, he has achieved his dream and has won in his homeland. ❤❤❤❤
Looking at photos of Jules makes my heart ache. This guy finally won his first Grand Prix two days ago, but it feels as though for him to get a bit of happiness, he has to be riddled with heartbreak. This win wasn’t something he’d ever celebrate in his life. My heart reaches out to this guy, he just can’t seem to have a break from tragedy, but yet he’s one of the coolest, most composed drivers on the grid. That’s incredibly admirable. Rest in peace, Anthoine.
Charles Leclerc grew up in a very different way, he is racing not because he wants to do it for fun but because he wants the people who trust him and depend on him to be proud of him and knew they can count on Charles, I know one day he will stand tall on the podium finishing 1st and walking home not just being a normal driver who wins a race but as a WORLD CHAMPION, you got this Charles we are counting on you🏆
Don’t be so naive
@@Boomhauersdad you never know what happens in the future
yesterday he had his first victory...right after the death of his childhood friend anthoine hubert ....
It was also his 34th race start, which happened to be exactly how many Jules had before his death.
Bianchi, his dad then Hubert, Leclerc has had so much tragedy at such a young age, he still seems so incredibly upbeat all the time, the guy must have so much strength
this kid has the potential to be the next big thing given the right team
Amonfobious with Ferrari i think he can do some good things
He'll take Kimi's place when he retires. Just needs more experience.

I have seen this video like 10 times and it still brings tears in my eyes. I have been following Charles from his f2 season and I saw the race where his dad passes away. Yet he drove like a champ. He sure will become a champ and a legend. It’s not much far away. From a fan to Charles.

When Perez came 3rd last year at Mexico GP, Charles called at his home to congratulate him and he said to Perez
"Checo, you don't know how happy it made me to see your parents celebrate like that; tears came to my eyes, I would have loved my father to see me.'"

He just won here in Melbourne, and will surely be challenging to be world champion very soon. Despite his huge success he comes across as very grounded and a genuinely nice person, and I for one wish him every success.
If you're watching this in 2022, you can appreciate better where he's coming from and how proud his father and his mentor Jules would be today seeing him triumph. I can only imagine what he must be going through for not having them in his better days...He is such a great talent, and undoubtedly the future of F1

Very cool video! I recently lost my father and that race in Baku was jaw dropping. To do what he did was just unbelievable... Charles is a strong man and champions are strong people. Charles already has an incredible story, let's keep our eye out on him and always remember Jules 👍

Karting superstar, to blitzing the junior formula categories, getting into the Ferrari Driver Academy, impressing in his rookie F1 season with a lower tier team, advancing to the most famous team in F1's history, coping with the pressure of being a Ferrari driver, and finally winning his first Grand Prix. All that's left is for him to become World Champion and he'll make his Dad, Jules, and Anthoine prouder than ever. Amazing job Charles!! First win in F1, a painfull one, it just shows how strong Charles is. Well Done!!

I will never forget Interlagos 2013 when it rained nonstop, very hard for all free practice sessions. Hardly anyone went to the track because of the dry weather forecast for qualifier and for the race (as indeed it was), but I remember clearly the only one driver that did countless laps, for each one of the practice sessions, the only guy the audience saw, basically for the three free practice sessions was Jules Bianchi in a very basic Marussia doing lap after lap. At the time, most Brazilians attending those practice sessions could not help but think of Ayrton Senna, who as a teenager 40 years before, also took to the track (the kart track, meters away) deliberately, when it rained hard, just to practice and to improve his skills. We all thought this was exactly what Bianchi was doing. I was wondering how special it would be to have Bianchi and Leclerc as teammates in Ferrari right now. Two young drivers who are so interconnected, two amazing talents. No doubt Ferrari would be giving Mercedes a run for their money, much more than what is happening now.
Deeply touched. I wish Charles all the best in his career! Not knowing of him for long, I can say that I am a big fan already! 🏆🏆🏆

So proud seeing how far he’s come in ferrari now❤️❤️Such a talented driver who has overcome so much and we hope to see him winning a lot more f1 races in the near future (maybe tomorrow😉)
Had no idea he knew Jules. I'm supporting him even more now, because I feel he bares the journey Jules was making until his tragic passing. Charles is like the heir of both Jules and his late father, and he will work hard to make them both proud.
He's already performing incredibly well for Alfa-Sauber, I'm sure it won't be too long until he sings with a superior team.
Fascinating and tragic story, I wish Charles all the best in Formula 1.
This is great!!
Thank you
This is so touching. F1 drivers are humans first and athletes after. These stories remind us all of our humanity and the need to show love wherever we can.
Okay. That's it. This guy's now my favourite driver. Couldn't decide on one since Alonso left.
And he's back
Your father and Jules must be so so proud right now, they got your back. Best of lucks in the Scuderia, FORZA CHARLES
This hits harder after him taking his first win after losing Anthoine 😭 he is amazingly headstrong!
I’m not crying your crying 😢 definitely my second favourite driver and my favourite of the new young guys
Finally no comments about Halo, Hamilton asserting dominance, and Bottas smashing it.
Stay strong Charles.
and you had to come along
Dominance yeah?
Isn't this a comment about all three of those things... you dumb af bro
Hahah, you think you're smart by saying this. Well, how do you want someone to write this comment without writing about it? You think I'm dumb? I'm at university here in Switzerland, so gtfo.
Just don't write the damn comment
And 2022 is a great start for him with 2/3 wins and a podium
So young and yet a lifetime of grieve behind him. It can only get better for him from now on at Ferrari.
What a story. Life is indeed a great writer. He also fulfilled his and Jules' dream and became a part of Ferrari this year. Then one week ago he lost his childhood friend and the next day he had to race on the same track where Anthoine died. And he won.
Now he broke the silence and won the Italian Grand Prix, after nine years, and it's still just his rookie year in Ferrari.
And this is still the beginning. One day, he will become a champion, which will finish this story, but will start the sequel.
Who else is watching after Lelerc got his first pole? This guy is composed and super cool
Touching and impressive, I guess I'm a fan now.
A guy who can internally self motivate himself in isolation (like Alonso, Schumacher, Senna and Hamilton) can never be down for too long and will always come back strong. Charles has that quality in him.
I thought Vettel had that quality too but he seems unable to rebound and constantly makes mistakes. He dwells way too much on down moments and cant overcome them.
And that's why I am a Leclerc fan, because he deserves it the most!!
WoW before this video I doesn't now anything about him but I think he is a real fighter and he will do everything to make his father and Jules proud.
