Efeuno Sorry to burst the bubble but not every young promising driver will become world champion in F1. There's alot of factors which you mostly can't control yourself. Also, they make it seem very dramatic but the truth is, many people are going through many many more issues and tragedies than Leclerc even at his age, so to be fair it's not that special.

Looking at photos of Jules makes my heart ache. This guy finally won his first Grand Prix two days ago, but it feels as though for him to get a bit of happiness, he has to be riddled with heartbreak. This win wasn’t something he’d ever celebrate in his life. My heart reaches out to this guy, he just can’t seem to have a break from tragedy, but yet he’s one of the coolest, most composed drivers on the grid. That’s incredibly admirable. Rest in peace, Anthoine.

Karting superstar, to blitzing the junior formula categories, getting into the Ferrari Driver Academy, impressing in his rookie F1 season with a lower tier team, advancing to the most famous team in F1's history, coping with the pressure of being a Ferrari driver, and finally winning his first Grand Prix. All that's left is for him to become World Champion and he'll make his Dad, Jules, and Anthoine prouder than ever. Congratulations Charles, you have some seriously proud guardian angels watching over you now. He deserves every good thing that comes his way.

I will never forget Interlagos 2013 when it rained nonstop, very hard for all free practice sessions. Hardly anyone went to the track because of the dry weather forecast for qualifier and for the race (as indeed it was), but I remember clearly the only one driver that did countless laps, for each one of the practice sessions, the only guy the audience saw, basically for the three free practice sessions was Jules Bianchi in a very basic Marussia doing lap after lap. At the time, most Brazilians attending those practice sessions could not help but think of Ayrton Senna, who as a teenager 40 years before, also took to the track (the kart track, meters away) deliberately, when it rained hard, just to practice and to improve his skills. We all thought this was exactly what Bianchi was doing. I was wondering how special it would be to have Bianchi and Leclerc as teammates in Ferrari right now. Two young drivers who are so interconnected, two amazing talents. No doubt Ferrari would be giving Mercedes a run for their money, much more than what is happening now.

Had no idea he knew Jules. I'm supporting him even more now, because I feel he bares the journey Jules was making until his tragic passing. Charles is like the heir of both Jules and his late father, and he will work hard to make them both proud.
He's already performing incredibly well for Alfa-Sauber, I'm sure it won't be too long until he sings with a superior team.
Fascinating and tragic story, I wish Charles all the best in Formula 1.

What a story. Life is indeed a great writer. He also fulfilled his and Jules' dream and became a part of Ferrari this year. Then one week ago he lost his childhood friend and the next day he had to race on the same track where Anthoine died. And he won.
Now he broke the silence and won the Italian Grand Prix, after nine years, and it's still just his rookie year in Ferrari.
And this is still the beginning. One day, he will become a champion, which will finish this story, but will start the sequel.

A guy who can internally self motivate himself in isolation (like Alonso, Schumacher, Senna and Hamilton) can never be down for too long and will always come back strong. Charles has that quality in him.
I thought Vettel had that quality too but he seems unable to rebound and constantly makes mistakes. He dwells way too much on down moments and cant overcome them.
