So far I have had a blast fishing on an inflatable boat, mainly because I can get very shallow and deep into the mangroves to find those secret fishing spots and secure a catch and cook episode. I took the seats off the inflatable boat so now it's more like an inflatable fishing skiff

black margate are really good eating but they are a PITA to fillet. they have a huge ribcage that makes meat yield low for their size. I caught a huge one the other day, must have been 7lbs. made sooo much ceviche.
and definitely that was a cubera. even more confident it was definitely not a mangrove.
i do this all the time but i just use the skin. it stays on good and it can be reused multiple times.

Never in my life seen anyone that bad at handling fish! Have to say, you must be the first one with a fishing-channel who's afraid of the fish, when the fish gulps for air you say: "he almost bit me" LOL. Screaming each time the fish moved in your hands, not even my girlfriend is this afraid of em fishes! Could only imagine if you would get a really big one, you would probably scream out some really high pitched sounds, running around it in circles with your hands above your head! But your good at cooking tho, and fun to watch So thanks for a great video mate. The fishing and hunting business are very manly worlds so its refreshing seeing someone like you, who's not that macho, that you don't care about this even tho i'm sure what other fishermans are thinking/saying about you, brave to don't care and just be yourself anyway, funny to watch a video like this were you think you watch a man but that behaves like a girl, gets a little error in my head. They are good eating, comparable to any snapper. fillet easy and always can catch nice size ones you caught

Bro go way down on hook size. I use like a 2/0, same size I use for sheepshead. You’ll catch everything from a mangrove to a snook or cobia. The biggest benefit is smaller profile so the more weary fish don’t see it, but also you won’t hook the branches so hard and they are easier to pop off.

The chub are good too and super easy fillet I cast net them at the patch reefs good as snapper tiny hooks and the kids and people will catch all day fast and fun

@SouthFloridaFishingChannel because you're not handy , and boats are a money pit. If you can do simple engine work, bilge jobs etc, fine, but you've shown us over the years yiu can't. Therefore, it ends up in the shop for half the year, costing yiu thousands and missed time. Just like your Rover, another money pit, cut your ties and fish with others.
He's fine young guy can't fix everything he's ready for a new better boat
