First check the door switch. Second Check thermal fuse for continuity Third check main control board. (this could be the issue and by replacing it only can solve the issue)
I have the same exact issue! We had a perfectly fine working GE dryer that was close to 30 years old! We NEVER had an electrical issue with it at all! TODAY Home Depot delivered our BRAND NEW LG Dryer DLE7100. We PAID to have it installed and ready to go, BUT when I went to check it out, the 2 delivery men had already drove off and never even plugged it in, so I did! NOTHING! Reset the breaker and still... NOTHING! I believe the delivery men probably did plug it in but when it didn't power on, they decided they didn't want to be bothered so unplugged it, got me to sign and tore out of the driveway! SO, Now I'm stuck with this damn problem!
That sucks. Yah my delivery men from home depot didn't take the stability screws out of the washer and I washed with then in one load. Sounded terrible. They never plugged in the dryer just dropped them and left.

Mine is 110v/220v dryer. I plugged it in 110v and tripped the breaker. New house, new dryer. I tested my outlet and its good. I did some research and it seems like the motherboard is not so great. People on RUclips replaced them and it worked. Im going to just call for service cause its new and I don't have time.

Had the same problem. My dryer was connected to a old circuit breaker which was connected to the main one. the problem was there was no current to the dryer. I tested the outlet to see if there was current and there was none. It's an Old house but I just connected my dryer to the main circuit breaker, replaced the outlet and that fixed it.

That sucks. Keep trying the reset steps and check the wire connection to be safe. I thought mine was shot and it was just the ground wire in the wrong spot.
Also, my LG ThinQ dryer (DLHC1455W) lights up inside when I spin drum manually, but still no power at all, even if I press and hold buttons for 4-5 seconds. Is it really a bad circuit board, and how can I remove the front cover to replace it? Probably going to do it myself since it's impossible to rely on a fake 10 year warranty from LG. Ok I have a similar problem I get voltage check with multi meter getting 230 at cross and 116 at two leds the dryer powers on but when I press start it power off. The first time I pressed start I heard a sound in breaker but nothing tripped.

You mentioned that your 4 prong outlet wasn't a true 4 prong outlet. How did you determine that.
We took off the socket and it was meant for a 3 prong so we turned the power off and swapped it out. Make sure you check out my other 2 lg vids you might have the wires connected wrong on the dryer. If you aren't use to doing electrical work you might want to call a professional, my brother inlaw did it. Just know the ground wire goes to the washer theres a spot. We purchased a brand new Dle3500w back in August 2020 never had a problem and now my dryer will not start I have to call Home Depot to have them come out to figure out what’s wrong
I purchased a DLEX3900 in May 2020. About 2 weeks ago, dryer had no power. Circuit breaker looked fine, but I reset it anyway and after a couple minutes the dryer powered on normally. Fast forward to yesterday, same issue, same fix. The previous dryer had not one electrical issue in 14 yrs of use. Not pleased with this LG (we're also living with a door gasket issue that LG authorized repair tech could not resolve, now this power issue). Feel like I have a lemon.
That sucks. I've always preferred the older stuff, it's better but. Our top loaders we're fine, but the wife wanted new front loaders. I will say no issues after we got it working, and we wash everyday.
I got the top of the line LG dryer, and after trying to use the steam generator, it died, and I haven't been able to get any response out of it. I can't figure it out.

I bought this dryer it was a customer return. Never used though. I had to change the prong from in my wall no I change the electrical cord on the dryer from a 3 prong to a 4 prong to fit the outlet in my wall. I worked for About two months and now nothing. No power, wont turn on. I do notice that the start button seems like it is not flush. Like the start button I’m about to take it apart and find out there’s anything maybe on the motherboard behind it I don’t know anything about repairing dryers so I’ll let you know what happens
Well if it worked before and not now check the breaker box first and if thats on then hold the power button down for I think 5 or 6 seconds, thats supposed to reset it. Hold it down while its off then turn it on. Let me know what the issue was once you get it
Patsy, same here. Brand new stackable unit. Had it 2 weeks. Everything worked great until last night. Used the dryer maybe 10 times, now no juice. Washer is good to go.
It sounds like the dryer is bad. Its not uncommon for them to have issues every now and then. You obviously haven't had any issues before and the only thing that seem different is the dryer. Just because its new doesn't exclude it from defects.
@@MrBaldChronicles. Thank you. I have also discovered the power issue with the 4 pronged outlet. In short, screw the ground wire that is built into the dryer with the green wire from the 4 pronged wire. When those two wires are together you will have power to your dryer.

The dryers are manufactured for a world market and the configuration of neutral and earth varies wildly depending on whether the neutral is a star point (as in the UK), of a centre tap as used a lot in the US. A competent electrician should be able to resolve the problem easily. In some parts of the world, the layout of the pin configuration varies, particularly when you can split the line to 110 volts on each side. In this case, 2 of the wires will need to connect across the line, the third will be neutral and the forth one earth. If the dryer has a 3 core cable, the forth wire needs to be an earth. This worries me, since any mistake can easily cause a fire, or leave the drier incorrectly earthed.
I'm no electrician but my brother inlaw did figure it out, he is an AC tech so had the tools. LG sent a tech out to confirm. We love them now. Thanks for the post.

Hey there, I will put the links in the description but the dryer just needed a 3 prong. My wall outlet had a 4 prong and the old dryer worked with 4 but it wasn't a true 4 prong outlet, my house is set up for a 3 prong and that worked. Thought the washer was broke too but the shipping screws was left in the washer so had to remove those.
Brand New LG Dryer DLEX3700W; My problem: Voltage meter show 240V but still NO POWER dryer! Check all wires at the source/the panel and the breaker! Hot wires are connect properly displaying 240V and LOOSE Neutral wire (test still show 244V)... reconnect the Neutral wires and problem SOLVED Goodluck everyone

Open the door and turn drum real hard about 2-3 turns. Then press the power button to turn it on.

They put the ground wire in the wrong spot, that was our only issue. I believe I made two videos on this machine. Check the wires on the unit.

It's the fuse on the dryer that's causing them not to power on
With mine turns out we had it wired wrong. Fuse is another thing to look at.

In the back of the dryer. One should be holding the plug. I unscrewed it to take off the plug and screwed it back. I thought that was odd

Never Ever buy an LG we have done through 2 in 6 years and the LG tech can't fix it.
They’re holding up and working just fine for now. So far so good. If anything happens I will let you all know.
