Thank you. Bypassing the switch trick helped me determine that it was indeed the switch! Ordered the switch now knowing its the fix. On my LG Dryer model DLE3170W , I didn't have to remove any panels. Simply opened the dryer door and pryed out the switch with a flat head. Hero of the day sir! thx.
