    The problem in most of these stories isn't that the faking didn't work.
    Most of them got found out way after that, because they didn't cut all ties to their old life.

      Yeah, people have gotten away with it before for a while. Easy, go hunting or hiking in a remote or even semi remote area of the wildernes to "destress from it all" leave your vehicle there and just leave. Many people who die in the wilderness are never found. Just plan out your new life very carefully.

    • @g.williams2047
      @g.williams2047 4 года назад +26

      All it takes is a moderate amount of planning and then just walk into the wilds. Wait a while, leave only a car as a trace, and make sure to pass by a river or stream to throw dogs off your trail. After that you could just make sure to not leave anything around. If you had problems at home or at work, a smart person would assume you committed suicide or went to the forests to unwind, and met an untimely end. Then you need to get out and move to a place where you will never be suspected to be at. Move often if alone, but don't if you have a new family. Never reveal yourself, if your cover is blown your done for. And if you have life insurance, investigators will have a probable motive for your death to be faked.

    • @domg.1011
      @domg.1011 3 года назад +5

      Oh that reminds me of the aokigahara forest in japan (I think it was by mount fuji). People go in there to suicide all the time & often their bodies are never recovered.

      Simply fax in statement of death by funeral director to social security from a funeral home. Create a fake file of that case and file it in their cabinet. And there you go

    • @hadleyodenbach804
      @hadleyodenbach804 3 года назад

      @@alabamadeep4471 the problem is what happens when people start wondering what happened and try to figure out how you died, where the body is, stuff like that. Also that seems honestly like a lot of work for something with such a high likelihood of failing. I see what you mean though.

    I wish you would do one on bands that have a bigger impact than expected such as Insane clown posse how they donate food pay for people's school helps out their hometown. It would just be cool to see some of em get the recognition they deserve

    I think the best way would be to fake a "suspicious accident" (is it an accident or a suicide)
    Especially in case of debt/facing jail-time/ relationship-trouble, it would be a plausible way, because people would very well understand why you "died".
    An idea would be having your car driven offroad, and then catching fire. You might wanna spread the rumor you were gonna live off the grid, so you'd have an explanation for a bunch of flammable materials (bottles of ethanol and cans gasoline for your "cabin") in your car, which will almost sure that your body will be burned beyond recognition.
    Hence the tricky part. A body. Don't go so far as actually killing someone over it. "borrow" a John Doe from the local morgue (or dig him up) but make sure he resembles your height and build, put him in the car (don't forget to put your wedding ring and other recognizable features on him).
    Make sure to stay off the grid, with everything linkable to you. So no social media, and NO contact with friends or family.
