- How do you replace the ownership for a motorcycle you don’t own? What do you do when you’ve bought a motorcycle, only to get home and realize that it didn’t come with an ownership? That’s the situation I found myself in, so here’s what I did.

What should i do if i got it from a friend who inherited it by buying a house? He does not know the previous owner
I'd try the form you can download from my site, use what's in there as a template, provide your evidence, get your affidavit notarized, and say your prayers and dress nice before you go the MOT/DOT.

@@Mackahroney it might be easier if your friend does this first and gets it registered in his/her name, and then sells it to you, just one less degree of seperation, but if your friend can't be bothered try it yourself. Good luck!
