I'm Jamie Otis Hehner and me and my hubby of 10 years, Doug Hehner met & married on the same day as strangers on season 1 of Lifetime TV's Married At First Sight.
We lost our first baby, Johnathan.👼🏼 While trying to grow our family, we lost a couple more babies. ➡️ Sooo, we feel exceptionally thankful for our two beautiful rainbow babies: Henley & Hendrix.
Now we are embarking on a fun new adventure that hopefully helps us grow stronger as husband & wife, but also closer to our kiddos.

I have identical twin girl granddaughters but they are called mirror image twins,one is left handed and one is right handed,one parts her hair on the right and the other on the left,their prescription for eye glasses is the same but in opposite eyes!

I am so happy for you that all of your prayers were answered! I mean, the more that I've learned, the happier I get and the more that I cry with joy for you! 🥺 Now you be a good pregnant mommy and do everything the doctors think is best. Not your fans. 😂 Even the ones that had twins. Everyone is different with birth. I midwifed 27 babies and speak from experience. No twins though. Darn. 😂 Your twin momma fans can advise after the birth. But they're right about expecting to birth early! You're going to do great and God is with you all the way! 🙏❣️

Trusting God & being pregnant has given Both of you guys such a beautiful glow. You two have always been a good looking couple but you both are just glowing! Fraternal twins can follow along maternal family lines (whether the mom throws more than 1 egg). Identical twins are merely a matter of chance during early development of the embryo.
BTW…I am a twin mom (mine are now teenagers).

I also delivered my twins in the OR and was able to deliver vaginally. They came at 34 weeks(identical twin boys).

My mom was 24 when she had her first set of twins and 38 when she had us. As far as being old when pregnant, I was 41 almost 42 when I had my last. My 2nd cousin(boy) his gf had identical twins 6 years ago. 2 years ago my niece had fraternal twins(boy/girl) Now she is having another set of fraternal twin boys this summer!😮

Also just a thought if Henley and Hendrix both have H-E names and you name one of the twins with an H-E name but not the other then one of the twins will always wonder why He is the only kid in your family that doesn’t have an H-E name. I would think about staying away from H-E names unless you have two of them you like.
Henley is going to be best mama helper, I know Hendrix will too, but Henley’s eye sparkle when she’s talking about the babies.

I am a twin (fraternal brother) and my mom (God rest her soul) only went 11 days early. I think it depends how you carry.
Also Heath and Henry are cute. I was wondering if you were going to try to incorporate Jamie's name somehow. Like as a middle name. Even James would be cute for a middle name. I tossed around the name Harrison James for my oldest (who is a Sarah instead) You look great Jamie and make sure you get Doug back for that "old" comment😂😁😉

But Jamie, I just have to say how impressed and proud of you I am in how much you've grown since getting married. I named my boys both J names with the same vowel sound and to this day they get annoyed with us because when they are together people mix up their names. Hudson and Hunter would be an example of that. I was the worst offender of calling them the wrong names. With all H names in your family it’s going to be like calling the roll. LOL. Do you ever do that when calling Henley and Hendrix? I know I would. Thank Goodness my adult boys are forgiving for that well meaning mistake. 😂 They complain but laugh about it.
Hystosalpingogram....eww. I had that test to check for blocked tubes it was so painful.
