WOW What a find, my first trip to the USA at the age of 22 and the hotel reception guy got me 2 tickets for this concert at short notice!! i went with my then GF Lesley......the show was awe inspiring, the Orange Bowl seemed mega big....& the gig was by far the best I've ever been too!!! Brent UK.
I remember reading an interview with Bono many years ago where he said the song was just too personal and painful and that they weren't going to sing it in concert any more, so it is amazing to see this concert footage. Thank you!

sweet post. Was there also @17yrs old, little hazy though I remember the line for tiks at ticketmaster by 163rd st was an amazing party in its own. We had started it by dumping alcohol and juice into a cooler and people just came and took and added to it all night.
this song gives me goosebumps when i sing it aloud before the break of day.
Man this brings back memories--saw them 2 nights later in Tampa and it was the best concert I've ever seen. All these years later it still is.
This is U2 at their finest. I´ll give a couple of toes to see them play this one later this summer.
