I am a lifelong swimmer and grew up in a place where pools were not heated. I also do a fair bit of open water swimming. That pause and look on your face when you submerged...that's the moment when your lungs rebel and it feels like there's something or someone sitting on your chest. The secret is to exhale as you submerge.
I use the ice bath after cardio workouts. But never after resistance training. The way I see it, the inflammation from cardio isn’t something I want - but the inflammation from resistance training is how my body knows to build. But I’m intrigued to know your full thoughts - as your comment got chopped off!!
