I found this: The eggs hatch after 4 days. The parents move them to a newly dug pit at
this point. After another 4 days in the pit, the fry become free
    swimming.
Feeding can start with brine shrimp, microworms and daphnia.
Leave the parents with the fry for at least 2 weeks or until they stop
caring for the fry. The fry are usually quite safe because blue acara
    are good parents.

here's the thing... if you scoop a few Blues out to raise in another tank, you've still got the natural way continuing in the main tank don't you.
I think this way you could enjoy MORE then one experience at a time. (and... it would give you more content now wouldn't it!!)

Your fish rooms looking awesome,be wary with your male congos,As they start to mature and start challenging each other for hierarchy and dominance they have been known to jump,so maybe think sbout a condensation tray or something to act as a lid,i lost 2 of my large male congos a few years back due to them jumping out of tank, when they became sexually mature.

I agree with everybody else I think you should pull out about 10 or 12 babies put them in a separate tank. I think you will be amazed of how well the parents will do but there's always that chance you will lose all of them this way you got a better chance at least a few will make it. Love your Channel, keep up the beautiful work.

With cichlids, no matter how good the parents are, if you spook them, you run the risk of them eating them, which can then form a bad habit. Your ahead of the game right now, so when you feed the parents, feed the babies with newly hatch brine shrimp or other live micro with a long syringe, sort of like stealth mode, to get through all the plants without disturbing too much. Also, cut back on the amount of food for the parents, since you want to increase the feeding times. The babies need more feedings since their tummies are smaller and at the same time, a stuffed parent is less likely to want to eat the fry. This tank turned out beautiful ! and the fish look very happy and content with you, { which is one of their great points as pets. i called mine water dogs, since they're so smart and familiar.} Cheers !

Sparkling Gouramis are stunning little fish. Mine are probably my favourite fish out of the choice of species I have between my own 2 aquaria.
Recently acquired Green Rasboras in the other aquarium are amazing as well: careful choice and placement of the lighting have exploited thier colours in a way that's really spectacular.
But the Sparkling Gouramis in the shallow aquarium still come out on top... maybe because they are a bit more shy, and so when they do pop into full view, it is somehow more pleasing? Thier shallow aquarium is very heavily planted: probably 95% substrate coverage, with decorative wood pieces and emergent growth that has reached about a foot up out of the surface. I see the Sparklers pottering about happily amongst the plants and spiderwood - it is feeding time that brings them out into the open water more, to compete with the Green Neons for lunch 🙂
Once in open water, the lighting highlights the colour and detail of these charming little fish... 'Sparkling' really is an accurate description as well as a name!
Funnily, I hear the Sparkling Gouramis far more often than I see them! They are really quite vocal - and the open top aquarium probably allows the sound to travel better?
